An excellent trip, very well organised with professional guides etc. The overnight bus transfers were very comfortable. The day in Uyunyi was full with plenty to see and do. The picnic lunch on the salt flats, with no other vehicles in sight, was magic and tasty. Janeth, our guide, spoke excellent English, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Our driver, Christian was great, setting out the lunch and evening aperitif efficiently. Overall a great day. Highly recommended and very good value.

After searching all the options to visit Uyuni salt flats, chose Joker Expeditions and had a wonderful experience with them. I did an overnight bus to/from La Paz and the logistics were handled perfectly. Timely pickup from the hotel, bus transfers etc. Spent a beautiful day touring the flats and Mauricio (the guide) and Coco (the driver) ensured I was taken care of in every way. Highly recommend this company. Some tips/info: - If you travel solo and they don’t have enough travelers, you’ll have to pay for 2. (worth it). Get 2 bus tickets each way so you don’t have to have a neighbor -When you arrive, you’ll get a room at their hotel which was surprisingly nice. Shower, charge etc bc after the tour, you won’t have time to do it -The cacti island is quite difficult to climb if the altitude is an issue- also not very accessible so take that into consideration if you have mobility issues -The overnight bus is about as good as you can expect. It has usb chargers and the seats almost fully recline. But the footrest doesn’t get horizontal so it is a bit odd to have your legs from knee down hanging off (Titicaca was the company). It does have a “bathroom” but it’s for #1 only and wasn’t the best- I intentionally didn’t drink a lot of water on way back to avoid using it. -Dinner isn’t included but you can buy dinner at the hotel office while you wait for your transfer to the bus. Decent meal runs about 65b Overall, a great option if you have limited time and don’t want to deal with the logistics yourself.

We had a wonderful time with our 1 Day Tour to Uyuni Salt Flat! We were picked up at our hotel in La Paz just before 8PM to drop us off at the La Paz Bus Terminal. He (Joni) assisted us from making sure we have our tickets and where we should by certain time for the bus ride. At exactly 9PM our bus left for UYUNI. It was a very comfortable 9 hour ride. We arrived in Uyuni just before 7am, and there’s already someone waiting for us. He (Christian) dropped us off at the hotel where we had breakfast and advised us that we will be picked up at 10:30AM for our tour! The Hotel concierge are very accommodating and very nice! At exactly 10:30AM, our English Speaking guide had arrived (Janet). Janet is very knowledgeable about certain/specific things about Uyuni, we really appreciate her guiding us the whole tour. She was very patient with us, especially we love taking photos! In this tour, lunch was included and we were surprised by how Christian and Janet set up the whole experience. Food was great too! 👍🏼♥️ In between, they drove us to Isla Incahuasi (Cacti Island 😊) At the end of the day - they drove us to the area where the sky reflects on the water, which is what the Salar de Uyuni is known for - largest mirror in the world! We did have a lot of time to just enjoy and take in the moment…. Here, they once again set up another snacks/tea/wine for a toast 🥂 with the Sunset in the background! Janet is also very creative with her Shots! We will never forget this experience, and I definitely recommend this tour to anyone! We had a great time and there’s definitely no flaws TBH :) At the end of the tour, they brought us back to the hotel where we had a chance to freshen up before our ride back to La Paz! We had the most amazing tour with Joker Expeditions. From start to finish everything was flawless. The night bus from La Paz was well organised and we were greeted by our driver Andy once we arrived in Uyuni. The breakfast and hot showers at Hotel Atipax were a bonus and much appreciated after a night bus. The day was jam packed with activities as well as a delicious lunch enjoyed on the salt flats. Our guide Janet and driver Andy were fantastic from start to finish. We would highly recommend booking this tour with Joker expeditions - professional service, unforgettable experience.

On Jan. 17, 2024 we spent an amazing, unforgettable day at the Uyuni Salt Flats. It had a mirror surface because of a recent rain. While we were having wine and appetizer at sunset, our tour guide, Jeaneth, and our assigned driver took a creative short video which gave the illusion of us sliding on the surface. It is a treasure to share with our friends and family. Jeaneth speaks very good English and enthusiastically answered every question we had. She is very patient and attentive to folks like us. She is a good representative of her country. The experience we had at Uyuni Salt Flats was worth the 2 overnight bus rides from La Paz.

Amazing experience. From start to finish they had everything organized perfectly and handled. The guides were amazing, so knowledgeable, friendly and took amazing photos. They made our day incredible. Can’t recommend this tour enough!

If you have limited time in Bolivia this is a great way to see the Salt Flats. It's a long, overnight bus. But the seats are very comfortable. The hotel pickup in La Paz was smooth. The greet in Uyuni could have been better. It took a little bit to find our driver. But we got to the hotel in Uyuni and had a few hours to stretch before starting our tour. The breakfast at the hotel is very basic. A few more items would be nice. Our guide and driver were both friendly and informative. The amount of things that you have a chance to see while at the salt flats is amazing. The lunch and afternoon snack were a unique experience. Having a picnic on the lake in both the dry and wet areas. Uyuni is definitely worth the travel time to get there. Side note, if you have big suitcases you can bring them on the bus and store them at the hotel/office in Uyuni.

Israel was a fantastic guide and Constancio was a wonderful driver. We learnt so much, saw so many amazing sights and were very well looked after. We loved absolutely everything about the day. Israel was very dedicated to taking amazing photos for us so we would have memories to remember the trip.

Alvaro our guide with Joker expeditions was too good. We would recommend them to all our friends. The small snag was the morning breakfast hotel was under construction and at freezing temperatures we did not have hot water in the pipe.The staff made it up with their courtesy.

I could give 10 stars if possible! It is an amazing experience with the tourguide-Paolo who are great for guiding the entire tour and also an excellent photographer to help us to capture the amazing photos!!! The company, Joker Expedition has well organized from hotel pick up to drop off, great meals especially the lunch on the “mirror of the sky”, wine with the beautiful scenery of the sunset… we had a lot fun and forever memories! Highly recommended!

Julia and Fernando went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy all day. Julia is the best photographer with plenty of funny and creative ideas and Fernando drove us safe anywhere we went. We're sad to leave the salt flats but will keep memories for life thanks to these 2. The highlight of the day was definitely this wine while watching the sunset in the best spot 😎Highly recommend

This trip has been amazing from the start to finish. We were picked up from our hotel at 8pm (I was informed at 5pm via email that the pick up time was moved to 8pm) and we were dropped off at the tourist? office where our guide made sure we had everything we needed. The shared bus was clean and we were able to recline our seats adequately for a comfortable travel and sleep. Upon reaching Uyuni, a guide holding our names was there to pick us and dropped us in a beautiful hotel where we were given a room to rest, have shower and breakfast (the room was beautiful.. one of the people we met said he was not prepared by how beautiful the room was). Moving on, we met our guide Julia who was incredible kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, flexible and everything we could asked for a guide and this is true with our driver Fernando (although he spoke minimal English, he was thoughtful and made sure our table settings when we had lunch and snack? prior to ending our trip was impeccable). These 2 worked really well together ensuring we will have the best experience ever and they did not disappoint. As for the tour, we were able to see the old trains, Incahuasi Island , etc and the Salar de Uyuni as the highlight where we had the best time! These 2 again made it their mission for us to have beautiful videos, funny pictures and enjoy the sunset with tea (we dont drink alcohol) and snacks. After the tour, we stopped by the same hotel earlier where we were free to use their toilets to freshen up and change for the journey back to La Paz. We were again dropped off the tourist centre, boarded a bus with same quality and when we reached La Paz, somebody was already waiting for us to drop us off our hotel. Overall, this tour has been tailored perfectly and had been seamless from the start to finish. We would definitely recommed JOKER Experience!

Our trip to the Uyuni salt flats was an amazing experience. The flats are beautiful and Joker expeditions made sure the whole trip went above and beyond our expectations. If you are thinking of going to Uyuni I can not recommend Joker expeditions enough. The pickup and transfer went very good. I have a hard time sleeping in busses/planes. But with the reclining seats on our bus I slept better than I usually do. Upon arrival in Uyuni we were picked up and delivered to a hotel where we had breakfast and got a room to relax and shower in. Refreshed and ready we were picked up by our amazing driver and guide. Fernando and Leroy gave us impeccable service throughout the whole day. Leroy was extremely knowledgeable about local history, wildlife, culture, the salt purification process and much more. He also doubled as an incredible photographer. The lunch was served in the middle of the salt flats. It felt like we had our own personal restaurant. The food was incredible and there was no one else for as far as the eye could see. Fernando and Leroy also found us a beautiful spot to watch the sunset away from the main group of tourists. Here we had another table beautifully set up with a bottle of wine and snacks. All in all the day was perfect. And we would like to give a special thanks to Fernando and Leroy for making it so.

This had to be the biggest highlight of our entire trip! Leroy and Christian truly made it an incredible experience. The Salt flats was a dream to visit and our guides made it magical. Leroy could also be a professional photographer with his skills! They provided local Uyuni Salted beer with a homemade lunch, and later wine and cheese over a sunset that reflected over the world's mirror in what felt like a fairy tale.

Fantastic tour, very well thought-out and detail-oriented. The transfer / ticketing went seamlessly and there was food, water, pickups / dropoffs, and a hot shower provided - We didn't have to worry about a thing. Our tour guide was extremely dedicated in helping us take pictures, giving us the history of the salt flats and surrounding town, and providing us with delicious local food during the tour. All around incredible time!

From booking to drop off I was very impressed by the professionalism , flexibility and attention to detail this tour company provided. I booked this tour very last minute on the plane due to change of plans and the only time available was Christmas Day. Jose catered to all my requests and managed to find me a private English guide within hours. The overnight buses were comfortable but due to the dry and hot aircon I got sick. Upon arrival at Uyuni, I was given a hotel room to rest and freshen up. My guide Jeaneth and driver looked after me the entire time. Jeaneth taught me a lot about Bolivian culture and even put on a traditional dance show. She is also a fantastic photographer as she knows exactly when and how to get a good photo. My accommodation was close to the bus station in La Paz but the tour company organized pick ip and drop off regardless. Overall it was a very luxury experience and worth every penny.

Salar de Uyuni is in a whole new level. What's not to love about it. I think people really need to come here and see for themselves how magnificent Uyuni Salt Flats really is. Never seen anything like this

Everything was perfect! We did the one day trek in the Uyuni salt flat and everything was perfectly organised down to the last detail. Our guide Ronald was very kind and attentive. We recommend it!

We booked our salt flats tour via Viator and the overall experience was AMAZING. Few things in the beginning: in the ticket pick up time was 7pm but when we asked our hotel reception to call and confirm the pick up point, they told us that they will come at 8pm. So I would recommend calling them in the morning to confirm the pick up location and time. The driver arrived at 8pm and took us to the bus station. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour or so to get into the bus but after that everything was PERFECT! The bus was very comfy, big seats and they bend almost into a bed. There was also a toilet on the bus. When we arrived to Uyuni there was a driver to pick us up and took us to a hotel. At the hotel they gave us breakfeast and our own room so we could take a shower and rest for a bit. The tour started at 10am. It was so great!! We saw so much and the salt flats were amazing. We had our own car the whole time, so just us two + guide + driver. We had lunch in the middle of the salt flats (!!!) Super cool. Our guide and our driver were so nice. Our guide was amazing and spoke very good English. She told us also so much about Bolivian history. She took so many great pictures of us and we had so much fun. In the end of the tour we get to enjoy some local red wine with tapas and look at the sunset. Could have not asked for more. Then they drove us back to the bus station and in La Paz there was driver waiting to drive us back to the hotel. This experience was so great 5/5!! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
