This is the most incredible tour we have taking.the ex.saltmine has been transformed into an 1km long 14 station,Jesus carried the cross to his crucifixion each station one mine shaft.All the crosses and blocks are polished .put I recommend to get a private tour guide,it's worth the money .

La catedral de sal is beautiful and a must when visiting Bogota. Our guide was amazing taking us through all the via crusis stations explaining the symbolism. We also enjoyed the visit to Zipaquira the Cathedral in the town center is stunning. Five Stars!!

The place is so astonishing! Never thought that a former salt mine could be transformed into such a beautiful and meaningful place. Visually the place is superb but the experience is greatly enhanced with the help of our guide, Daniel Rodriguez, who was really helpful to understand the place.

On a recent trip to Columbia I decided to visit the Salt Cathedral. It's located about an hour and a half outside of Bogota and it's a very scenic and relaxing drive. The countryside actually reminded me of Vermont in the summer. The entrance was somewhat unassuming but after going 180 meters down into the mines you'll start seeing the true beauty of this place. The stations of the cross, the Cathedral and the many, many other intricate religious displays here are simply amazing! My guide, Samara, spoke excellent English and we had a very good conversation throughout the whole experience. 😊

Tomás was the guide and we had wonderful time during two days at Bogotá. He is a professional and knows a lot of knowledge regarding art, history and others. Also he recommended great restaurantes to visit near hotel. I strongly recommend the tour.

We wanted to do something quickly, not far from the city and also not very demading in a physical way. This was the perfect choice. Place is really amazing, the art, the essence, the importance. We could have done the trip by ourselves but our guide was brilliant, he helped us to understand the place by knowing its history and its religious and cultural importance. I you go there you need to ask for Daniel Rodrigues, he is the best without any doubt!

This was an amazing experience. Our guide Fernando was excellent. He had deep knowledge of the history of the salt cathedral, and explained to us the details of this incredible place. We were highly impressed with the architecture/engineering details of this place. Also Fernando helped us appreciate the subtle details of art and things that we would otherwise have missed. There is a very nice surprise at the end of the tour inside the cathedral. We loved it. The tour was very interactive; our guide encouraged us to engage our senses in the experience. My 2 teenagers were very engaged and loved the experience. Our driver was also very cautious, respectful, and the vehicle was very comfortable. Amazing tour.

The salt cathedral is an astonishing place. Very beautiful and the history and catholic culture of the place was awesome. I went with a local guide called Daniel and he was great.

We visited the place in a private day trip from Bogota. The place is impressive, we had two hours of visit and… 3.5 hours of travel (both ways) But it is a great place and Hansa tours are very well organized Our guide, David Duran was excellent, very welcoming, knowledgeable and kind We added to the trip lunch, it was in a very nice restaurant and the lunch was very good

We had an excellent private tour of the salt cathedral, and our guide David Espinel was very knowledgeable and provided us with detailed information. He is an excellent professional. The day before we had a private tour of Candelaria and Monserrate also with him and it was great too! I recommend him and Hansa Tours.

We did a second full day with Juan Fernando and I highly recommend him. William was our driver and he also was fantastic! Ask for both!
