Highly recommend this experience to compliment your visit to Split and to really grasp the history of Diocletian’s palace. The palace has been woven in so impressively with the modern life of the city and this virtual reality animation brings to life how it might have once been. Visually stunning, well produced, educational, thrilling and even humorous in parts. Although it is only 15 mins you will not forget it, definitely a must-see!!

This was an amazing experience. I went twice: before & after touring the old town. The facility is excellent and nearby everything, so we could just walk there. Thank you, Diocletian's Dream, for bringing this virtual reality to us!

That's where a visit to Split should start. A totally must-see. I was with my young and teenager kids and it was pretty much the highlight of our trip.

This was one of the highlights of our visit to Split. The experience is amazing and takes back in time to when Emperor Diocletian lived in his palace. This gave us a good insight into the layout and different parts of the palace. After the experience we went back to the Palace and had a in depth understanding of the layout and uses of all the different rooms, walkways, street life. It is an incredible journey and I can not recommend this experience enough.

Would recommend reserving a time period to view this thoughtful history lesson delivered in a highly entertaining manner prior to then walking a short distance to the palace walls & exploring the palace ruins on your own. Owner(s) gave a brief overview with tips on getting the most from the experience. Comfortable seated area / did not feel crowded, could turn & easily view 360 degrees. My husband & I remembered pertinent details/facts from this presentation (probably more so than if we had purchased a guided walking tour/group). We were fortunate to speak with an owner (off season) - he shared a wonderful restaurant recommendation for lunch which was just a short walking distance from the experience. Thank you! A charismatic, engaging individual who is genuine about wanting visitors to have a great experience & gives back to the children in the community.

Great stuff, just the right amount of VR not to be overwhelmed, hear about the history and get kids into it. I would recommend for families of all ages.

It's a great and very effective VR experience that takes you around Diocletian's Palace in it's heyday and explains some of the features and events that were occurring around that time. It's pretty relaxed, although there are a couple of fast "drops", which may unnerve some. It's probably best to this after taking a walking tour of the Palace, as it really helps in visualising and understanding some of the places you've been. The staff were super friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, and very much recommended if you're visiting Split.

Wouldn't waste the time for the experience, bad cgi, bad script and too quick to appreciate any of the content (not that it has much visual quality to it). It could be great if it was better done with more realistic and put effort into the scenes

This was a wonderful experience. We had already done a tour of Diocletian Palace and it was great to get a glimpse into the past and to recognise where we had been. We got a warm welcome from Tommo. Well done to fellow Irish person Declan O’Rourke for the magical experience he has created .

I loved this experience and it added to my overall Palace tours. Very cool. The host was very helpful with some questions about the area!

This was my first "vacation" virtual reality experience. Though some have commented on its brevity, I think it was about right, given the subject matter. How much time does one want to spend virtually, when the real thing is just down the street? It really helped that we had already walked through Diocletian's Palace. I'd suggested exploring the Palace, taking part in the VR experience and then returning to the Palace.

The Host was so welcoming and informative. The process was simple and easy. The VR experience was amazing, funny at times and cinemagraphically professional. I recommend seeing Diocletians Palace first then enjoying the VR tour so you can compare it to what you've already seen. If you haven't been on an organised tour of the Palace, you will learn a lot more about Diocletion himself here. I loved the whole thing.

Exploring the virtual museum of Diocletian's Palace felt like a journey through time. Every detail, from the vivid reconstruction of ancient architecture to the interactive exhibits, provided an unforgettable experience. Historical insights, interactive content, seamless navigation, and educational value make this virtual tour a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts and those who just want to experience something new and unique. Staff was also very very good. My recomendations :)

Amazing - really brings the palace and it’s history to life in a fun, engaging and educational way for all ages. Vast array of translations and very cost effective. A must see when visiting Split

Too many tourists ask for direction to the Palace when they are actually in it. Everyone should do the VR before visiting the site.

It was a wonderful experience! The activity introduces the audience in a virtual reality that seams very real. The performance, the audiovisual, the history… is immersive at all. Highly recommedable!
