Absolutely amazing. This is one of the best trips in my whole life. The scenery, the hospitality everything were on absolute point.

We had the most incredible experience on this walking wine tour in Lavaux with the enthusiastic and knowledgeable Marc, our guide. The quality of the wines we tasted was surprisingly good, given that past experiences with Swiss wines didn't always hit the mark. One of my personal highlights was visiting a wine estate where the winemaker infuses his wine with jazz music, creating a unique and unforgettable tasting experience. The vibrations from the music seemed to enhance the flavors of the wine, making for a one-of-a-kind visit. This walking tour with Marc in the World Heritage Site is definitely not to be missed when in Switzerland. Five stars for excellence!

From the moment we set foot on the picturesque vineyard grounds, we knew we were in for a treat. Our guide, Marc, was a font of knowledge and passion for all things wine-related. His anecdotes about the region's winemaking history and Swiss viticulture added depth and context to our experience. We were treated to an array of interesting wines, from crisp whites to robust reds. Marc's expertise truly shone as he guided us through the tasting notes, helping us appreciate the nuances of each pour. The wine walk also offered stunning views of the Swiss countryside in an idyllic setting. No hiking experience is required.

I’ve been to a few wine tours, but this is by far the most interesting and memorable. Marc is truly knowledgeable about the history of wine making in Lutry, and obviously passionate with what he does. He also paid special attention to details, e.g walking gear and food allergies. The vineyard we visited has a very unique way of storing wines (no spoilers), and we even have an expected performance at the cellar! Our tour was around 3 hrs with a stop for some tasting and bites. If you are in Geneva or Lausanne, this tour will be the highlight of your trip.

We had the most amazing experience touring Lavaux with Marc! He was an extraordinary tour guide - both extremely knowledgeable and also super personable and fun to be with. We had a blast getting to know Lavaux with Marc and his storytelling and intimate knowledge of the area kept us engaged throughout our time together. We've done a lot of wine tours of different areas and Marc was by far the best guide we've had. Plus he's a great guy and gave us tons of recommendations for the next leg of our trip in Zurich and places in NYC to visit to continue to experience Swiss wines. We had the pleasure of touring the Lavaux wineries with Marc. To start, he is knowledgeable, personable, and extremely customer oriented. We’ve done a lot of tours and this one is definitely one of our favorites. They reached out weeks ahead of time to help coordinate the train and after I told them we couldn’t check into our hotel by the start of the tour, they arranged accommodations to pick up and drop off our bags. Marc led the tour - an informative and personal walk through the vines with stops at wineries along the way. He’s fun, and passionate. Marc lives and is clearly known in the area so our breaks at the wineries felt more like stopping in to see friends. Great photo opportunities! Almost looks unreal. The wine is great too.

We stumbled on this tour and so glad we did. We took the train from Geneve which required one change but was easily managed. We visited Lutry before the vineyard walk. Our guide Marc is a highly qualified and knowledgeable sommelier. The walk and wine tasting were a feast for senses. Marc engaged the group with interesting vineyard and wine making discussion. Such an amazing experience! The scenery was unbelievably beautiful, Marc was such an amazing host and story-teller, and the wine was amazing. Marc is so fun and knowledgable about all the wines. We learned so much and really enjoyed this experience!

This was phenomenal. My wife and I have enjoyed a couple other wine tours before, but this experience stands out. For one, the region is gorgeous. Two, the wine was fantastic (we ended up purchasing several bottles from the wineries). Three, Marc is an outstanding guide. He is a native English speaker, having grown up in New Zealand, so there was no language barrier between him and us (we are a couple novice American wine drinkers). Yet, Marc has lived in the Lavaux region for several years, and he is intimately familiar with it. He had several suggestions for our trip, both locally and in Chamonix, where we were staying. Marc’s resume and experience are extensive (someone should write a book about his life), but more than a seasoned sommelier, Marc is a seasoned storyteller. If you’ve never tried a wine tour, or if you’ve tried several, trust us, this one is worth it.

What an enjoyable way to spend a few hours! Marc is an excellent guide with vast knowledge and is a fun, engaging teacher of the appreciation of Swiss wines! Highly recommend his tour! You’ll walk through vineyards and stop for beautiful views and delicious sips and bites.

Marc was an awesome tour guide! He led us on a hike through the vines explaining the local process thoroughly. He shared all kinds of additional information about Switzerland and handled all our questions with ease. Towards the end of the tour we got to sample several local wines and a snack and have a delightful conversation and learn even more about wine. This was an experience we won’t forget and we highly recommend.
