We really enjoyed the food and the history of Bogotá as well as information about Colombia. Andres answered all of our questions and even taught us how to play a fun game.

Our guide was VERY knowledgeable, both about the food and Colombian history. The tour covers a lot of ground and includes plenty of tasty food. It is a little on the longer side though, with my tour lasting over 4 hours.

Let's start saying that I've already booked two other tours with this agency in Thailand, Bangkok and Chiang Mai. They both offered me a great food experience. At the end of the tours I'had the feeling that I've reached the essence of the Thailand food culture. For this reason I decided to book a new tour when I travelled to Bogota. This time the experience was not exactly matching my expectations. Despite the guide was very kind, skilled and welcoming, I felt that he's speeches were too much focused on general Colombian history and many other facts related to Colombia as a country and too little space to food related information. Even the selection of the food stalls left me the sensation that I didn't touch the heart of this beautiful cuisine. I choose this agency because they feature their self as a tours for "chef" or "Food loves", so I'm expecting that the focus of the information provided are mainly related to the food/culture topic. And the selection of the food stalls should be very targeted and should offer something that other generalists tour usually don't provide. I decided to leave this review because I believe in this kind of project, I had a great experience in Thailand and I hope that they can offer a sort of consistency among their different destinations.

Everything is just yum! I loved every bite and highly recommend them for a calming and comfortable meal. The general ambiance is also quite inviting.

Highly recommend this trip for anyone visiting Bogota!!! We were a group of 8 with Julian as our guide. He said we were a larger than normal group… so he took extra time with us to make sure everyone was taken care of!!! He was so informative and interesting and I loved learning about the ancestral roots of Columbia. He clearly has a passion for what he does and is very knowledgeable about the food and culture of Columbia. The food and locations he brought us to were so interesting and varied and we would never have found them by ourselves.

Julius was an incredible tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and very considerate of the needs of all the attendees. Its a great tour experience that goes beyond sampling local food in Bogota - but it gave us much more perspectives into the daily life and culture through the stroll in the street and visiting the markets/ small food stalls/ restaurants!

The tourguide was an Allrounder when it comes to history but also histor of food. We had a great walk through different districts and Trier a lot of amazing food! We even play 2 traditional games. It was amazing! If you love to experience culture through food - do it :)!

The tour was wonderful, we went to places that were very authentic and the other people eating there were locals going about their day. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history and preparation of each dish and her English was excellent, we tried different types of fruit in the park and the weather was great, the tour guide (Juliana) could even explain about the different types of plants and trees in the park. All on all a great tour, very professional and knowledgeable guide, great and interesting food. Highly recommend.

Andres was an incredible tour guide! He took me on a trip through Old Bogota through food. And the food is amazing! From chicha to coca tea and everything in between, he let me sample various regions of Colombias cuisine while also providing the history of its people and culture. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Colombia’s history and was very engaging in conversation. I had the best time with Andres and would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to explore Bogota through both a food and walking tour. Trust me, you will need the walking to help make room for all the food you eat. I had ajiaco, lechona, pan de bono, buñuelos, tamal, six different kinds of fruits, craft beer, and coca cake. The variety and quality of all the food is top notch. I highly recommend the lechona and ajiaco, they were delicious. The tamal was very good too and the buñuelos with chocolate or yucca spread were just amazing. Book this tour and have an amazing journey through Old Bogota in both food and history, you will not be disappointed.

This was a great, structured way to have an introduction to Colombian food! My guide, Juliana, was very fun and knowledgeable and I loved that information about food, culture, and history was woven into the tour. I learned a lot and the food was also very tasty and authentic with generous portions at each tasting.

My food tour experience with Andres was wonderful. He was well-prepared, knowledgeable and very kind. From bustling markets to hidden eateries, we tried local dishes, exotic fruits, chicha, hot chocolate, coffee, beer, even played a little game. The choices and the varieties were impressive. I’ve done a lot of food tours around the world and this was BY FAR the best one I’ve ever done. Andres is a passionate guide who not only knew the best spots and the history behind them but also history of the world which was amazing. He knows his way around ALL of Bogota. We were very safe and the walking was not tiring. Great food, come hungry!
