The falls are amazing. Even better with a guide to tell you things you don't read. Shelton was a local guide who also did safari's he was very good and made the experience much better tha walking on our own.

I had the most amazing experience of Victoria Falls with Simon from Cuckoo Safaris. I was lodging in Livingstone, the great experience started with on time pickup from the hotel, to crossing the border and meeting with an amazing Tour Guide Simon on the other side and drop_off back to my hotel at the end of the tour. Simon took me through the history of the falls, which season is best for which experiences, the water levels/liters etc. We ended a tour with coffee at a cafe that has an amazing view of Zambezi River. Simon is passionate about his job and tourism of Zimbabwe 🇿🇼, he puts his heart into it, no doubt. When I found myself back in Victoria Falls again, I would not ask for a different tour guide. Such a wonderful experience still in awe of the mighty Victoria Falls days later, our tour guide (Simon) was so friendly, warm and knowledgeable, definitely enhanced the experience, well organised tour, I want to do do again

From start to finish communication and coordination with the staff at Cuckoo Tours was easy and efficient. And because we were staying in Livingstone and not in Vic Falls, it was important to communicate and coordinate pick up times at our hotel and at the border. MIke, the shuttle driver in Zambia, was punctual and efficient. And Simon, the tour guide who met us at the border for the tour of the falls, was equally punctual. More importantly, his overview of the history and fun facts about the falls was a welcome overlay to the majesty we were seeing as we walked the falls trails with Simon showing us all the spots to take killer photos for the 'gram. We had a wonderful time on the tour and booked another tour with the company to Chobe, Botswana.

I can't thank Simon enough for being such an amazing tour guide and a great guy. I had the best days of my life on this trip thanks to Simon and Cuckoo Safari team. If you are wondering if you need a guide for Victoria Falls National Park, I would say that if you are inquisitive and like to learn new things, this private tour is well worth it! Simon was very informative and answered all our questions. He is a conservationist and very appreciative of nature. My husband and I really enjoyed our time with him.
