We had a great time with Valerio! We took this tour on the first day of our visit and it was just perfect. A good balance between informations and fun facts. He is a true local Venitian and it makes the diffence, you can feel it like the way he shows you the streets. He gave us plenty of tips and recommendations for things to do and where to eat and drink. I will definitly recommend this tour if you wanna get the vibe of Venice!

Valerio, a local was very enthusiastic and showed us the non-touristic places as well. He was very knowledgable and fun.

Amazing experience. We had our own small family guide all day. We got lost in the streets of Venice with a local. We had our 10 and 12 year olds in tow. He made it exciting for everyone. I would highly recommend!!

Valerio is an excellent, insightful and charming guide! We spent three hours with him exploring Venice like a local. He knows his way around the little alleys and offers us an experience like a local. He was outstanding with our 8-year-old son, involving him all the time and giving him a live long memory. If you want to visit the usual touristy places, a guide is not needed. Converter if you want to see everything else.and learn about the history and uniqueness of Venice in a casual walk, Valerio is your man! We will defiantly come back to spend more time with him!

The walking tour we did with Valerio was the absolute highlight of our time in Venice. He is the friendliest, most interesting guide and showed us more than we ever expected to see in just two hours, all the while really giving us the locals experience. Visited Venice for the first time with a friend for a much delayed birthday celebration. I arranged a private tour with Valerio on our first day to firstly see some sights off the beaten track which I love but also to get some recommendations for good restaurants etc. He was able to personalise a 2 hour tour for us and was flexible about changing this on the day when we threw other suggestions at him. He has a great deal of knowledge about the history of Venice but is fun and engaging. I think he would be good with kids too. All his recommendations for restaurants / cafes were great and not excessively touristy. I would definitely join him on another tour when I return to Venice.

Valerio is really great in what he's doing; it was a real pleasure being shown around by him. There wasn't a single question he couldn't answer (we tried hard!), and he mastered the almost impossible task of getting our 9 year old nephew interested in history! 😉 Oh, and his German is fantastic, so he's a great choice for any group with no/little knowledge of Italian or English. Highly recommended!

Talking about a personalized experience! After just arriving in Venice, Valerio met me for a night walking tour of the city. Quiet streets and lots of stories made it such a joy to walk around with Valerio. Thanks also for the amazing bar stop where I had the best pulled pork roll ever! Io e la mi ragazza abbiamo contattato Valerio, tramite conoscenti che avevano già usufruito di un tour ed erano rimasti entusiasti, e gentilemente si è reso disponibile ad accompagnarci in giro per Venezia. La sua presenza ha cambiato completamente la nostra esperienza in città, ad ogni angolo una curiosità, un dettaglio ai più sconosciuto, facendoci sentire in piena armonia con essa, come se fossimo dei Veneziani navigati (per me era la prima volta a Venezia, per la mia ragazza no, ma a suo dire ha scoperto molte cose di cui non aveva idea).
