We had a great time sharing stories with the host, Angelina -- she was very well informed and was genuinely excited to share the food of Hanoi!

This was a really fun tour! My daughter and I were the only ones booked that day, so we ended up with a private tour with guide, Angelina. She was a fabulous guide - very engaging, she shared many insights on life in Hanoi between food stops and had many questions for us too. The food was also very good and we tried many things we wouldn’t have found on our own. Great experience!

Make sure you come hungry! We had a great evening walk with Yen, learned a lot and ate a lot 😋 My favorite was the turmeric sticky rice and donut!

Went with my husband (first time in Vietnam) and Viet Kieu mother (her and my first time in Hanoi) and we had the perfect time with Yen! She was so knowledgeable and sweet, and we got to try dishes I've never had before (as a Viet American) and explore parts of Hanoi's old quarter we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Perfect way to ease into our trip and get acclimated to Hanoi!

Great vegan walking tour that also included some interesting/unique places of Hanoi. A LOT of great food and our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended!

Vu was an incredible tour guide! The tour is packed with different stops - so many that I lost count! - and Vu is friendly and generous with his time and knowledge. Each stop gave us a taste of something delicious and unique. We loved the turmeric sticky rice with mung bean, papaya salad, donuts, and sticky rice with coconut ice cream the most but everything was so good it was hard to choose. We made a point to go back to the ice cream spot again! Vu also shared a lot with us about Vietnamese life in the city from housing to education to religion to dating. He was delightful and easy to talk with! Our group was small (just my husband and I). Vu met us right on time at the meeting location and texted us the day before to confirm the tour. Thank you for a great experience!

Wow what a way to start our trip here in Hanoi! We had the amazing Yen as our tour guide and she showed so much enthusiasm and passion for all the food and stories that this interesting city had to offer. I'd definitely recommend this tour to all tourists who want to try authentic vietnanese food and challenge themselves to go to places that they may be hesitant to approach. Yen and Anh were so lovely to spend time with and they did a great job taking me to places I never would have discovered on my own! I also got to learn a little more about the history of Hanoi before and after the first indochina war. I highly recommend this tour to any vegan visiting Hanoi!

The guide was fantastic and spoke really good English. He was polite and accommodating. The tour was well paced and a lot of fun with plenty of stops that made it feel very worth the money.
