I booked this trip online and already saw amazing pictures of the glacier. I have to say I was not disappointed. It was one of the best experiences in my whole life. Our guide was so kind and told us very interesting facts about the glacier. She showed us some amazing ice tunnels and even took some great pictures of me. We also visited the ice cave which was also stunning. We were a group of 5 people which was perfect. I felt safe at all time. I would definetly recommend this company. They offer really great tours.

everything was special starting from our Spanish guide. A really good and competent girl. Then what can I say, the canyons mainly took our breath away. The cave is very beautiful, especially the narrow part. However, if you are interested, I recommend do the excursion which includes the glacier and the cave. it's worth it

Thanks for the great tour, we had wonderful time, originally we booked the day before but had to cancel because of weather condition, the next day was unbelievably good weather and we had the chance to see the rainbow cloud which we are told it's super rare. The tour guild was very friendly and helpful, we learned so much about glacier and had great time. Will highly recommend the tour!

It is a very nice hiking. the Czech young girl guider is very nice. we spent more than 6 hours on all the trips. t5he guide provided very details information for the trip.

This hike had to have been one of the highlights to our trip to Iceland. Our guide accidentally booked the hike and cave as opposed to just the cave and the hike on and into the glacier were truly unforgettable experiences- especially for my teenage son. It just left us in awe.

This tour was 100% worth it. Our group was so small it felt like a semi-private experience. Christina, our guide, was incredibly knowledgably, kind, funny, and skilled. We felt safe the entire time while also being shown so many amazing details about the glacier and the blue ice cave. I would do this tour again multiple times.

We booked the Glacier Passion Tour: Amphibian Boat and Glacier Walk with Glacier Adventure. The glacier walk is on the Breidamerkurjökull (what?) which is an outer branch of the Vatnajökull glacier. We left Glacier Adventure’s base in Hali (please install at least one more toilet) and we went on a long 4x4 trip to near the beginning (or rather, the end) of the glacier. The journey is a little uncomfortable because the dirt road is in very bad condition. However, our guide Kristina's smooth driving made it bearable (please Icelandic Government, invest some of the money that tourists leave in Iceland here)! After another long journey walking, but very pleasant because of the beautiful landscape, we arrived at the glacier. Here we put our crampons on our shoes. Kristina is very attentive and, when it was necessary, she helped to position ours in the best possible way, for ours safety. Then begins the incredible experience of walking on a glacier. During the tour, she continuously explains everything about the glacier, like its formation and the rapid melting caused by global warming. I learned that the grey colour of the glacier is due to the accumulation of volcanic ashes, from previous eruptions. We did not get to the place where the glacier ice is very white, because it is far away, but I imagine that on winter or spring tours the ice must be whiter, due to the accumulation of falling snow. In summary, very good experience and good value for our money. A little expensive, but what is cheap in Iceland?

Myree (I hope I spelled correctly) was a wonderful guide. She was patient, knowledgeable, skilled, and a pleasure to be with. The experience was nothing short of incredible, and a once in a life time experience for sure. If you're on the fence about it, I'm here to tell you to do it. We estimated it to be a 7km hike. It was a long day but absolutely worth it.

We had an incredible time with our tour guide, Kristina. She was smart, funny, kind and enthusiastic. We learned about glaciers and the history of the area. She pointed out different features and showed us beautiful formations on the glacier. It was a wonderful time and I would highly recommend this trip. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time and saw so many unbelievable things!

The Glacier Tour was a really cool experience and we were able to take great pictures. One needs a little sense of adventoure of course but the tour is perfectly suitable even for people that are not very fit.

Excellent experience I highly recommend. Our guide was kind and well prepared. A must do in Iceland. Wonderful scenery, our kids of 17 years old were simply enthusiastic.

Once in a lifetime experience for people interested in walking on a glacier. It is a long, bumpy drive to a rock bed, then a half hour hike on rocks, through small streams to the edge of the glacier. You are given crampons so you can walk around, otherwise no way. Our guide wasn't the greatest on information, kinda had to keep questioning him about things. A lot of effort/equipment to get there, but something you don't do every day.

Awesome guide and a fantastic morning out. Learnt so much about glaciers and why they were so ashy. First time using crampons and our guide very patiently showed the whole group how to put them on and how they worked. They also offered hiking shoe rental and they had some quality boots there, was very glad we took them up on the offer. Highly recommended overall!

An amazing experience! And the tour was well organised and our guide very nice and she explained us a lot of interesting things.

We did the glacier walk combo with the Zodiac boat tour of the glacier. The zodiac boat tour was from a different company and that was my highlight of the 2 combo activities. The glacier walk started a little disorganized at the base camp building. They didn’t really tell us to line up to get crampons. And then we stood around waiting for late arrivals. Once on the road it was a bumpy ride to the parking lot. Followed by about a mile hike to get to the start of the glacier. They explains the glacier recedes each year so that hike is getting longer and longer. Eventually they should extend the rocky road to our the parking lot closer. Once in the glacier walking around was fine. We saw some nice holes and water steams. At times it felt a little sketchy/risky. The guide wasn’t watching people and one person wandered off to what I considered a risky place to be - on the edge of a very small ice bridge over a giant crack in the ice. Glad I did it. If/when I return to Iceland I will do the zodiac boat tour again and cross the glacier walk off my list of things done, and not needing to be done again.

It was great using crampons on the ice and during the walk We could see inside a small ice tunnel/cave hanging in a rope. Christina (the Guide) was great!
