Me and my friends did a private tour with Eugene in March 2024 and it was a wonderful experience. Everything was well organized, the van arrived to pick us up on time and we visited all the places we wanted, even made some extra stops at the beach to watch the mighty Pacific Ocean. Also I want to say special thanks for choosing the winery to do some wine tasting, it was a very serene and beautiful place with decent wines. We will come back next year to do the tour with Eugene again.

Eugenio was the perfect tour guide. Has great communication and makes sure you get the experience you want. His knowledge of the area helped him reveal to delights of the tour in a way you could never get with a large group. Each sight he revealed uncovered more interesting sights and the place he picked for lunch was one of the best restaurants with amazing food and drink -- I don't think I've ever had such a wonderful lunch with an ocean view anywhere in the world. And Eugenio continually checks in to make sure you're comfortable and enjoying the day. If you begin in Santiago, don't let the travel deter you, the transportation was timely, comfortable and safe. If you pick this tour up when visiting the port, it will beat any tour from a larger company or cruise hands down. The personalization and ability to share the points of interest just could not be matched with a large bus full of a tour group. I would readily turn to Eugenio for any other sign seeing in the area. He's a gem.

Eugene provided a great tour! He provided an in depth tour of Valparaiso. I enjoyed visiting one of Pablo Neruda’s homes, going on a funicular to see a different part of the city, and walking around the port area. The day ended with a delicious lunch in Vina Del Mar and seeing a rock that is similar to the ones on Easter Island. Thank you, Eugene!

Great full-day tour with Eugene, exploring the beautiful and eclectic streets and hills of Valparaiso. Then having a tasty lunch at an oceanside restaurant in Viña Del Mar. Great way to get a brief overview of both towns!

Eugene was such a gem - a Brazil-born Chilean! We shared great conversation in the car on the way to/from Valparaiso, he shared personal anecdotes and made us comfortable. He took us to all the major spots and was very flexible - we wanted to skip lunch and head back, no problem! The weather was not great, so the fog killed a bit of visibility, but we were able to snap some great pics and move on. This is a perfect day trip from Santiago, and for this price it's much better to do a private tour than large group, for flexibility.

We came across Empire Vasquez Tour here on TripAdvisor based on the good reviews and we were not disappointed. We spent two days with Eugene on two separate tours to Valparaiso and Maipo Canyon. Eugene went above and beyond taking care of us on the private tours. He is friendly, authentic and easy going. He was observant and had customized the itinerary on the spot based on his observation of our interests and style. Eugene was a great guide! He took care of us the whole day on 19th of March which was also my birthday. He took us to many beautiful places on the way from San Antonio to Santiago with a stop over in Valparaiso. He is also a great driver. We would definitely use his services again. Luis, our guide, was absolutely amazing. His English was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. He drove safely and took us to some amazing places to view the street art in Valparaiso. He was always making sure that we were comfortable and happy throughout the day. We had a running joke with him about the fog and lack of sun so when the sun finally made an appearance he was most happy. Luis also took us to an authentic Chilean restaurant and ordered the most amazing food for us. Warning.....2 Pisco Sours with lunch can make you sleepy😂 After being let down by a previous travel company it was lovely to deal with a professional. Thank you Luis for a fantastic day out. Brilliant! Fantastic guide (Luis) with a heart of gold, very good English, great person. At the end we hugged, need i say more? Valparaiso is definitely one for the "Bucket List" . The cost was very competitive and reasonable. Cant recommend highly enough.

I have never seen such a colorful city as Valparaiso, their houses in the middle of the hills,heritage cultural.They have the most important port from Chile.The Pablo Neruda´s house is beautiful! Viña del Mar is the city of flowers,their streets are clean with big trees,and good coffee shops.You can have lunch in a restaurant in front of the Pacific Ocean.Eugene was a very helpful and sympathic person who took us to both cities.

We took the tour to Valparaiso and Viña del Mar. Valparaiso is the colorful city and also you´ll see the street art in the houses,in the walls.Their elevators from the XIX century make this an interesting city you can visit all the times.Viña del Mar is the city of the famous beaches,charn castles and many flowers. Eugene is a wonderful person,guide and good driver.Thank you for everything.

Highly recommend Eugenio as a guide! It is hard to find English speaking guides in Chile, so glad to have found him! Valparaiso is so unique and Vina del Mar is more like a typical beach town. Wonderful day trip from Santiago.

Es war ein superschöner Ausflug nach Valparaiso und Vina del Mar. Eugene ist ein sehr netter, pünktlicher und offener Tourguide, bei dem man sicher jederzeit sicher fühlt. Valparaiso ist für Menschen, die gerne Streetart und "Vintage"-Häuser fotografieren, ein Paradies. Das einzige was ich vielleicht auch gerne noch gesehen hätte, waren die Seehunde, von denen mir erzählt wurde. Hätte ich Eugene danach gefragt, hätte er uns garantiert auch noch dahin gebracht. Empfehlung.

Valparaiso é cheia de história, contrate um bom guia que saiba explicar sobre a cidade (fui com a 2GoVan e adorei). Vina del mar é uma cidade bem diferente de Valparaiso, bem mais "rica" com hotéis grandes e luxuosos. Vale a pena a visita, mas não indicaria mais que um dia para as duas cidades. Ficam a mais ou menos uma hora de Santiago e a estrada é muito boa até la. Tem um mercado de peixe em Valparaiso que você consegue ver leões marinhos, muito legal a experiência.

Passeio privativo incrível. Eugênio (dono e guia) fala português, conta e mostra os detalhes, pontos turísticos, curiosidades ao longo do trajeto. Experiência única. Recomendo.

Nós gostamos muito do passeio, duas cidades, de quem vai à Santiago não pode deixar de conhecer. O Sr. Eugenio, é demais! Nos atendeu muitíssimo bem. Só senti falta das flores das fotos que havia visto, mas claro agora é inverno.
