We absolutely loved the salt flats tour! The scenery was incredible the whole way. Our driver Saul really made our experience more enjoyable. He was patient, knowledgeable, a safe driver, great English, and timed our route perfectly to avoid crowds. He’s also an excellent photographer and always made sure he took the time to get us great pictures. I recommend this tour and this company and definitely Saul.

Great value, excellent service. The hostels were great, and they included an option for a private room. The driver and guide Ivan was very thoughtful and made an effort to give us the best experience possible.

Outstanding experience!! Did the 3D2N tour with Saul and had an amazing time. I booked the tour for the salt flats but day 2 and 3 blew me away more than the salt flats. I took at least 1000 photos in 3 days, testament to the breathtaking views we had at every corner. The desert is beautiful, there is so much variety in landscapes, we got so many nice surprises like lunch with view of the flamingos in the lagoon, sleeping in the middle of the desert, and just incredible views all round. A highlight of Bolivia for sure!! Cool Saul only elevated the tour even more: great sense of humour, knowledge, kindness, GREAT photographer… just so happy I booked with Skyline, don’t hesitate and do the 3D2N tour!!

Amazing tour! Skyline Traveler was an excellent tour company and exceeded our expectations in all areas! It seems like most tour companies take people to the same spots so what sets tour companies apart is price and guides. Skyline Traveler had the lowest price we could find which initially made our group a little worried that the quality of the trip would be lower but they proved us wrong! The accommodations were modest but clean and comfortable. Our guide ,Lily, was fantastic. She was so sweet and accommodating and knowledgeable about the geology and flora and fauna of every place we went. She was very flexible with her tour and catered it to how our group was feeling. If someone was sick from altitud, she was super caring and helpful. Finally, she was an amazing photographer and helped capture great pictures of our group. Our driver, David, was also awesome! He was kind and funny and very capable. I think they value of this tour is unbeatable and would highly recommend it for how inexpensive it is.

This review is not about the things you’ll see. The salt flats are a very special place and the other stops are awesome as well, especially if you have not visited this are on ghe argentinian or chilean side. This noted, the tour was not particularly great. The guide was not very friendly or social. It seemed a burden to him go inform us about what’s up next. And he sometimes just ignored us. He was more a driver than a tour guide. The whole time management was something special. We got up really early just to arrive in a hostel with 0 activities in the very early evening, instead of just having a relaxed day. The information beforehand was not helpful either. We specifically asked what to bring and they only told us snacks and water. No mention of hiking shoes, warm clothes or toilet paper (as none of the hostels provided it). The lady at the reception desk was really kind though and organised a Bus trip for us and the driver (for an additional fee) used the remaining time of the tour to bring us once more to the salt flats as it had rained. Thank you for that dedication. It feels mean to even write this after the help you offered, but I simply cannot recommend this tour. In general Uyuni is flooded with tourists and the tours all follow the same time frame. Everything is going to be crowded where-ever you go. In the end we should have just went without a tour. Well, next time

Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide, Saul at Skyline Tours. We all felt like he had really made the tour for us - lovely, fun, warm person - right amount of info and freedom to roam at each stop, great over nighter in salt hostel, very very good food esp veggie, he staged loads of great photos and even a v cool video for us on the salt flats, and photos under the stars - definitely went the extra miel to ensure we had a special experience - we felt v lucky - THANK YOU!!!!

I informed the agency that I have an allergy in broad beans and was asking our guide before every meal if it contains broad beens where he was always assuring me that it doesn't. Last dinner's soup however did contain them and our guide's response to this was that he did inform the cook. Luckily I didn't eat them, although I tried the soup. When we asked him what's the plan if there is a reaction due to the exposure, he said there is not much we could do as the next village was 2 hours away. There is no emergency plan in the tour and the company did never respond to my incident report.

Fantastic, albeit exhausting, experience doing the 3 day trip with Jaime - master 4x4 wrangler and dance choreographer! We felt in completely safe hands the whole time, Jaime drives safely and managed the entire itinerary efficiently and with good humour. I wasn’t expecting too much from the food to be honest, with it being in the back of Jeep for hours but it was surprisingly delicious! The dinners provided at the two hotels were also a pleasant surprise. Would absolutely recommend Skyline.

For those jumping off into Chile the trip is really two and a quarter days. The first day is spent on the salt flats, the second more in the mountains taking in the sights. The accommodation on the second night was basic but was more than made up for by the stargazing while bathing in the hot spring. Our guide was very knowledgable and we felt very safe in the hands of our driver. Thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

This was a great tour. We saw everything. Jamie was a great guide. Not totally fluent in English but the effort was there. The meals were good. Would highly recommend.

I researched and emailed many companies and I decided to book on Skyline Traveller for my 3d2n, I payed extra to have my own private rooms (300 bolivianos). We were 5 travellers a guide and a driver in a Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4 was roomy and comfortable. For 3 days, we did not have any vehicle breakdowns. Everything went smoothly and on-schedule. The food was always good and the driver and the guide were the servers. Beautiful landscape during the 3 days. Salt Flats were beautiful, we had sunset with a glass of wine, it was an amazing surprise. It is cold of course. We also visited Isla Incahuasi and did a 1 hour hike to the top of this Island of cactuses. In Laguna colorada, where the colours were unbelievable! We saw a lot of flamengos and there was a lake one lake where you could go nearer them. We visited Laguna Verde, geysers, hot springs and so many stops. The third day is spent mostly driving back to Uyuni with a few stops here and there. Taka care, this is a high altitude trip, the winds are fierce and the temps are cold specially when the sun has began to set. But in the middle of the day is warm and you dressed tshirt or shorts. I have lot of things to share but, this is all for now. Book with this company,they are amazing in every step. The owner or the girl is on the desk speaks fluently English, so she helps you all the time. And if you can pay extra to have a private room with private toilet.

Our three day trip with Jaime was incredibly nice! With his itinerary we did not meet many other people. This gave us the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and hideouts without many others present. Combined with his knowledge about culture and nature made it a trip we’ll never forget!

The trip was fantastic and I have to say, Luis our guide was brilliant. He was professional, hard working, funny and clearly loves his job. He is a perfect ambassador for the company. We had an amazing 3 days seeing awesome sights, with some wonderful people and made some great memories, with lots of photos 📸 The food was great and the accommodation was too. The first night we had a double room with ensuite (just remember your toilet roll and towel) and the second night all six of us on our trip had a dorm room to share. There was star gazing that evening with lovely clear skies. I can not fault this trip, it was just brilliant!

The driver Jaime took the time to always explain what we were doing next, how long we had etc. His driving and navigation was highly skilled. Had a fantastic trip with our English speaking guide Liroy. Who is very knowledgeable and told us a lot of interesting stories and historical facts . Incredible tour in the Salar de Uyuni. Experience amazing and unreal landscapes over this three day tour. Jamie was a great guide and took a lot of time to take photo from us and explain everything. It can get very cold, so definitely put on warm clothes. The hot springs on the last day are bliss. Can definitely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see Bolivia's beautiful nature.

My fiancé and I done the three day tour with Skyline travellers and had an awesome time! Our guide Jamie was attentive, kind and always looking to make us laugh. The car was comfortable and we felt very safe with Jamie driving. The first night accommodation was lovely - my fiancé and I had a double room. The second night is very basic due to the hostels location, and very cold. We shared a 6 bed room with our group but Jamie made sure we all had enough blankets and a hot water bottle. Highly recommend the tour and this company.

Would definitely recommend the three day your. Our guide Edgar, was very knowledgeable about the area and worked hard to ensure we were all happy. You see so much more than the salt flats, volcanoes, guysers, hot springs, lakes, mountains and amazing wildlife. Edgar answered all our questions. Accommodation near Chile on the second night was very basic so come prepared and you will be fine.

Wonderful experience. We joined a small group of 6 people and we travelled along Salar de Uyuni and the deserts and lagoons further south by a jeep. It was amazing! Wonderful landscapes, many animals, excellent guide (Rigo) with many explanations about what we were seeing. I definitely suggest this tour! But be ready for the night cold! Although the hostels provide warm blankets there is no heating system and the temperature could be -10 C!
