This was an excellent, memorable tour with a great guide who told stories about the horses and about the farms we visited. Since it was late April we were able to see the foals - some of which were 3-4 days old. The scenery alone was impressive. We highly recommend the tour

Wonderful unique tour of four horse farms. Our guide grew up in the area and worked on horse farms for over 30 years. His knowledge and personal stories made the tour fascinating.

We were able to see lots of beautiful horses including many moms and newborns. Our tour operator, Shawn/Sean was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great sense of humor! He was fantastic.

The Unique Horse Farm Tour was so wonderful we didn't want it to end! Our tour guide was Shawn and he had an incredible and humorous way of telling stories about the beautiful horses, farms and people of Lexington that make this area of our country so special. We saw some beautiful farm country scenery, a world famous veterinary clinic and many beautiful mares and their foals which most often are born in the spring months. We would love to return with our family and friends and will definitely ask for Shawn to be our guide. Thank you for such a warm, personal and special experience!!

Sean Washington is an excellent tour guide who brought our unique tour to life. Through His knowledge about the owners, the horse business in general, his ability to tell stories and his wonderful sense of humor he made our day special. We fully intend to bring our children and grandchildren to Lexington to take a Unique tour again as long as we can get Sean as our tour guide. Thank you too for the wonderful tour of the Rood/ Riddle hospital that through Sean’s relationship there, we were able to possibly see a surgery being performed….. amazing!

Shawn was an excellent tour guide. Very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. Great hands-on experience with the horse. We went at a slow enough pace to enjoy the sights. Shawn was on a first name basis with all the sites we visited. You will not be disappointed in this tour!

Jeff the tour guide was really good. He had been working around horses all his life, and he shared his wealth of information in a fun and interesting way. He said that he had assisted in the delivery of over 400 foals and worked just about every job at a horse farm. He knew a lot of history of most of the farms and noteworthy people in the trade. We went through several working stables and interacted with horses of all ages from newborns to yearlings to breeding mares and stallions. And the cats and dogs that are always a part of any farm. Take this tour.

This was our second time for horse tours. We brought friends from out of state and all thought It was difficult to hear and understand the driver if you were seated too far back in the bus. While we enjoyed the different farms there was far too many stats on the prize horses and not enough just general—interesting information about the horses, their care, their trainers, etc. It was a 3 1/2 tour and no restroom break was offered.

The best tour Shawn Washington was great. He was in the know with different farm owners and help. He made the tour enjoyable.

In spite of a drizzle, the drive and tours, done by a man who had worked horse farms for 30 years, were very insightful and rewarding. We saw many employees at work, and even a veterinarian putting her arm into a mare to check her ovum.

Such an awesome experience with Jeff as our guide, a hands on, intimate and interesting day patting horses, walking through barns and hearing wonderful stories . I would do it again and again. Thank you Jeff

Not real exciting - tour guide great but walking around petting horses was about it. Horse farms were beautiful though.
