This was a wonderful experience from driver picking up, to Badr showing us around the market, and the chef herself. The experience does take about 3.5hrs from pickup to shop, cook and eating. Both the guide and chef were patient and open to anything we wanted to try to eat and however much we did or did not want to do. Felt like we were in their home being taught how to cook by family.

Had a really lovely time! Fatima and Chef explained it really well throughout the process and we really enjoyed eating what we cooked afterwards. We cooked a tagine, zalout, shakshouka and a carrot salad. On top of it Fatima answered many questions we had about Fez and Morroco.

We had a great time! Badr, our guide, was extremely kind and friendly. He gave us a tour of the market in the Medina and the beautiful Riad Taha where we had delicious Maroccan tea. Fatiha and Badr showed us how to prepare tajine, shakshuka and baba ganoush which was delicious! Badr told us about life in Marocco and we were able to ask many questions. Thank you so much for your time, expertise and company, Badr and Fatiha!

It was easy and enjoyable from begin to end. It was very helpful to be picked up at our Riad for this experience. We arrived and went straight to the Medina to shop. It was informative and fun to shop in the Medina for our cooking needs with Badr. When we got to the Riad, we had tea and then we were shown what to do and got to work with Ms. Fatiha. We learned new ways to prepare vegetables (graded tomatoes). We made a chicken tajine and a few salads (carrot salad, Baba Ganoush, and Tchaktouka). We really enjoyed cooking with Fatiha and Badr. It was an intimate learning experience, as it was just my husband and I. The proof that she is both a good cook and teacher-the meal was fantastic! It was also straightforward enough to replicate. I’ll be making this and showing off at home! We highly recommend this experience!

Loved this experience! Badr, our most friendly and knowledgeable guide, took us through the Medina to grab ingredients, which was such a fun way to start our cooking class— a great way to experience the marketplace. Badr was also very gracious in sharing with us the rich Moroccan history and culture. Afterwards, Fatiha taught us how to make tagine and baba ganoush. What an expert! It was so much fun to see the whole process of making these amazing traditional dishes. An unforgettable experience, thank you Badr and Fatiha!!

This was definitely an unforgettable experience and the highlight of our stay in Fez. Badr was an amazing host and he made us feel welcomed and comfortable the entire time. We had so much fun shopping for ingredients in the medina and Badr was very helpful in explaining to us many different things. At the riad he even offered us Moroccan tea and showed us around the riad and the rooftop terrace which had a spectacular view. The cooking experience was very intimate (it was just us, our host Badr and chef Fatiha) - it felt like we were all cooking together and Fatiha (chef) taught us so much about Moroccan cooking. The food turned out to be the best I had in Fez and there was a LOT of food. Thank you Badr and Fatiha for the wonderful time!

Badr was an amazing guide and host during the day. He showed us the authentic local way of collecting food for the tagine on the market. Together with the most kind chef he showed us how to make the best tagine and many side dishes we ate during our stay in Marroc. The riad was really beautiful. I would highly recommend this experience.

This was a great experience for me and my husband. We were promptly picked up close to our riad by Mohammed and taken to the local grocery market where we met Badr who guided us the rest of the trip. Badr took us through the market and allowed us to pick the kinds of vegetables and fruits we would want in our tajine. We eventually made it to a cute riad close by where we began cooking with one of the chefs there. We had a chance to make the entire meal ourselves after some initial guidance. The food tasted amazing and it was really simple to do. I would highly recommend this activity.

The cooking class was perfect for our group of four! Badr was a great host. He took us through the market and helped us pick out fresh produce, meat, and spices. Then we went back to their Riad and they walked us through cooking tagine and a variety of salads before being served a display of fresh fruits for dessert. You could help as little or as much as you wanted.

Great way to experience Fes. Tour began with a walk through the Medina to purchase ingredients to use for lunch. Seeing a live chicken prepared was certainly unique. Definitely come hungry because a lot of food will be prepared!

We helped to cook a really amazing lunch in a beautiful Riad. Houndir is a very knowledgeable local guide who seemed to know everyone! He picked us up (dad and 14 year old son) then we walked to a local market to buy all the food for the dishes we agreed to make. We learned a few new kitchen tricks - even different ways to cut and prepare veg that we were familiar with. All very enjoyable and memorable. A great meal at the end. All very relaxed. No rush. We only booked the night before, so also felt very lucky to have been able to have this unusual experience. A really different way to get to know Fez and it's people.

What a fantastic and hands on experiences!! Absolutely love it. My teen was a bit sad to cook a live chicken bought straight from the market, but hey, they gotta grow up one point!

Mohammad was a good guide who spoke English well. It was our first day in Fes and he explained some history and recommended some local sights, as well as taking us to the Souk to get the fresh ingredients before heading to his Riad to do the cooking. The cook was friendly and Mohammed translated for us. We learnt to cook a tagine and salads which were all very delicious. He also sent us the recipes so we can cook them at home.

The hosts were amazing and were great with kids! Helping to choose the food before cooking it was a great, authentic experience and learning to cook traditional food was educational and delicious. Even the picky eater loved the food! I would do this again and absolutely recommend to others.

We were picked up from our Riad and taken to the market where we met our guide who took us into the market to buy all of the produce needed to make the meal. It was cool to go in behind the tiny shops and pick the vegetables. We then went to the Riad where we would prepare, cook and eat the meal. The cook didn't speak much English but with some help from the guide we were assigned tasks and I had time to make notes on the recipe. Due to the sill of our teacher we thought this was the best taking we had in our whole visit to Morocco, proving i guess that home cooked meals are best. Highly recommended

My partner and I took part in this cooking class. We had a fantastic experience today, we were picked up from our Riad by our guide and taken to meet our cooking guide in the medina to find and buy our ingredients, this was great fun and a very good introduction to Moroccan cuisine and culture. We had a choice of dishes to choose from including chicken tagine a, couscous and some more too. Afterwards, we were taken to Riad Tara where we met the chef and welcomed with some Lemongrass and mint tea (very refreshing), we then began our cooking experience, preparing the dishes, cooking them and learning new cooking tips and tricks. We finished our course by eating the delicious and flavourful food we had cooked. It was a wonderful experience, the guides were very nice and made us feel very welcome. When we come back to Fez we will do this again. We recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our morning cooking class in Fes. We were picked up promptly and taken to the local markets to source our ingredients. We got to choose from Beef or Chicken Tagine or Couscous. We chose the Preserved Lemon Chicken Tagine and have to say it was our best meal in Morocco! We helped with the prep and salads and some stirring of sauces, it was great to see everything that was used to create such great flavours. We devoured our meal at the end and enjoyed the fresh fruit that followed which we also picked up at the market. Definitely recommend this experience. Thankyou!!
