We had a evening/twilight private tour of Victoria for 6 adults. Darwin was there waiting on the pier for us to arrive off the cruise ship and we embarked on a very safe and fun tour. We were entertained and educated for over 2 hours while he drove us to all the highlights of the city. Would definitely recommend!

Let me start by saying Darwin was a fantastic guide. The day started with a challenge; due to a 10K race and a parade right next to where we were staying, it took a bit to hook up. In addition, there were many streets closed where this tour would normally go; however, with Darwin’s extensive knowledge of Victoria, if history and background, you would never have known anything was going on. Whenever we ran into a closed road, he knew exactly where to go, and we saw everything that was advertised on the tour and even a few extra places. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Victoria for the first time. We will definitely check out other tours provided by Darwin’s company the next time we visit Victoria. Seeing the castles and the cathedral church at the end of the road. Beautiful scenery and friendliness all around. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Victoria. It was an awesome experience.

We enjoyed our day with Darwin and Sandra. They picked us up from Harbour Airport where we arrived by seaplane from Vancouver. We were so happy they had heated rear seats in their luxurious SUV. It was an unusually cold day. We were able to see everything making several stops along the way. Darwin is a very funny and knowledgeable guide who made us laugh the entire time. Sandra also has a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable. They made it easy for us to see so much in two hours and not feel rushed or as if we missed anything. It was too cold to attempt to see much on our own. Thank you Darwin and Sandra!

Darwin , Our tour guide sharing history and allowing us to ask questions and letting us feel like we important To him and the tour. Route was enjoyable and lot of sutures packed into short time but not rushed . Highly recommend and book with Darwin!!

Darwin, who runs Surfside Tours, was fantastic and waiting at the ferry terminal holding our name on a sign. He took us to all the major sites allowing photo stops as desired. We got to go out of the city along the coast and even to Mt Tomlo for an amazing view of Victoria from above. He provided a natural narrative and we enjoyed hearing his perspective as a local. He even dropped us off at the Fairmont Empress for our Tea time. This was so much better than a hop on hop off and was well worth the money!

Darwin did a great job showing us all the highlights of Victoria. He was very knowledgeable and fun.

A lovely tour to see most of Victoria British Columbia. As we came on a cruise we were tied up for time,so this was the best option. Saw so many places of interest & beautiful places. The Driver of the Bus who also acted as the Guide was very interesting,If I remember correctly, his name is Pete. All in all it was memorable tour.

We purchased this tour through Viator and were thoroughly pleased. Phil and associate promptly met us at the cruise port and whisked our small group away in a handsome and spacious tour van. He quickly assessed our interests and adapted the tour to address them. As a long-time resident of Victoria, Phil was well-versed in the history and tales of this beautiful city and region. We were fascinated by his knowledge and charmed by his wit. We highly recommend this tour!

I like to learn about the history of an area. I got that in spades with this tour. Our guide, Phil, picked us up at the port and talked about the host of the port area. Then took us around on a free form tour of Victoria. Took questions and instead of just giving you the information, he took you to see something that relates to the answer. All the while telling you the story.

This was the most wonderful way to see the city. This tour is private and geared to what we were interested in. Darwin was a wonderful host/guide and will use him again if and when we come to town.
Worth every penny.
