Our tour guide, Naor, was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area. He was friendly and engaging and answered all of our questions. If you arrange to be picked up at the visitor center, either arrive early to do the self-guided tour or stay after the Jeep tour. It is well worth it! We had a fabulous day!

We had a really special, long visit into the maktesh led by the highly knowledgeable and fun son of the owner. Lots of wonders of nature to see and enjoy. Navigating the terrain was a special experience, certainly one to remember. Go, you won’t be disappointed!

Both the crater tour and astronomy tour were the highlights of our trip to Mitzpe Ramon. Our guides on both were kind, funny, knowledgeable, and flexible. They communicated beforehand to coordinating details, and the tours themselves were perfect. We enjoyed these as private tours, which was well worth the price to have the experiences tailored to us. We learned about the history of the makhtesh and got a first-hand experience driving and walking around beautiful parts of this natural wonder. And the stars overhead at night through the incredible digital telescope are difficult to describe. The process from booking to dropoff was relatively easy, too.

Our guide Naor was so knowledgeable and personable. He was especially focused on preserving the integrity of the area. He taught us the meaning of the word desert and encouraged us to touch, feel and smell our varied surroundings. It was an experience we will not forget!

This tour was awesome! Naor was so knowledgeable and fun, he really engaged with everyone in our family from toddler to teens to adults! We had the best time and learned a lot about the makhtesh. Wish I had known that this company Adam Sela offers more tours, we def would have booked more with them on our trip to mitzpe Ramon!

We took a 2 hour Jeep (actually Land Rover, bigger than a Jeep) tour of the Machtesh Ramon (It's not a crater, it's a machtesh!) with Boaz, who was great! Showed us alot of interesting sights, and gave clear explanations in a way the kids who were with us could understand. At one point, he even found us a fossil of some sea shells to explain how the machtesh was formed millions of years ago. Highly recommended!!

Great experience. Naor was informative, funny and great with our tweens. Coffee at sunset was the capper.

We did the two hour tour of the crater. Naor was our guide. It was the right balance of education, humour, fun, and going up steep bumpy trails in a big 4wd. Picked us up from our hotel, dropped us off afterwards. I would highly recommend.
