This is one you can take on your own with a rental car, which we did. You travel at your own pace, stop to see the same sights as on a tour, and you have the car to use at the Wildlife Conservatory.

Guide was very knowledgeable about the area. Took time to answer questions and would stop to look for wildlife if we seen any from the van

This is an excellent tour and a great value! Our driver Chris was every informative and showed us so many amazing places that we would have to drive by. I think seeing all the salmon running up the river was my favorite thing. But then again, the glaciers were awesome! This was a very well thought out plan. We were fortunate that we had great weather.

Driver Matt was very informed, interesting and gave us a wonderful trip along the Turnagain River. He knew where every wildlife animal usually showed up along the drive. Very professional but fun!

Never been here , first time and this tour was amazing. The drive and the Mountain View’s were spectacular. The stops along the way for photos was were appreciated and the views even better. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The drive is scenic and the stops are well thought of.. due to the fog we were unable to see the Portage glacier so our driver Dana took us further up and showed us the Explorer glacier …very thoughtful …

It was a wonderful experience. We had plenty of time to watch the Nature and emjoy and the icing on cake was spotting almost everything Bear, Caribow, Moose . It was a wonderful experience .

We did the Turnagain Scenic Tour. We had a great experience. Jason, our tour guide was so knowledgeable. He was able to explain so many interesting facts about what we were seeing as well as history of Alaska. We stopped at multiple spots to walk a little and take photos. I highly recommend this tour. Beautiful scenery everywhere.

We had aunt Gary as a guide. He was very informative. He pointed out wildlife to us. He went above and beyond and really enjoys his job. He gave us a first hand tour from an Alaskan who loves his state and has lived here a long time. Best tour of any that we did in anchorage.
