Aloha diving was great. I really enjoyed the couple that ran the company. The boat was clean / really relaxing, especially the upper deck which had bean bag chairs. The diving itself was beautiful. We went to an island and did the right part on the first dive and the left part on the second. They did an excellent job explaining the different kinds of fish / other marine animals that we were going to see down there. She also explained the different hand signals for the animals so that when she used them I could see them underwater. During the dives she really did an excellent job pointing out the different animals and key things worth seeing. She also helped manage my buoyancy to ensure that I wasn't struggling too hard down there in terms of maintaining depth. I had a wonderful time. She also used her camera underwater and took some awesome pictures of me and the clownfish that we saw. Great diving company and great dive especially for someone who is not certified.

I had an amazing time diving with Aloha : professionnal staff, good equipment and food... Everything went on well and the visited diving spots were interesting and not overcrowded. Thank you Alice, my instructor Günther and the team.

Went to Phuket for our anniversary, my wife has been wanting to try scuba diving as long as I can remember. I was nervous at first to jump right in without any training or prior knowledge, but our Aloha Guide, Simon, was an incredible instructor who kept us calm, well-informed, and allowed us to have 3 amazing dives! By the third dive, I felt like a pro already! We tried the "Try Scuba Diving" full day trip with 3 dives, and it was everything we hoped for - easy transportation, great service, delicious food, beautiful views and incredible diving. The best part was that Simon took photos while diving and emailed them to us free of charge!(see below) Would absolutely come back and scuba-dive again with Aloha!

I did my Try Scuba Session with Simon at Mai Ton Island and was impressed at his professionalism. He was very patient in guiding me and kept my fears at bay throughout the three dives that we had at Mai Ton. Furthermore, he was kind enough to take a big plastic cylindrical container that sank at the bottom of the sea and take it on the boat so that it won't harm marine life. It goes to show that Aloha cares for the environment as well. I did appreciate all the wonderful pictures that Simon took since, it will be a lasting souvenir of my scuba dive with them. My BF and I had a wonderful and relaxing trip with Aloha. And we will gladly recommend them to friends who would like to try Scuba diving in Phuket.

My friend and I have tried the Try Scuba Diving program. Both of us were totally fresh with diving. Our instructor Alice is very patient and encouraging, she is always doing her best, and we finished the program with no regret. Foods are also nice on the boat. Aloha provide very private and dedicated service, and they also provide trip advice around Phuket. I would highly recommend Aloha for any of my friends visiting Phuket :)

The overall experience diving with Alice from Aloha was absolutely extraordinary! (Which makes me wonder how people could even rate them below 4 stars!) We went to go diving and my friend had went on for the Try scuba diving course. Alice was super super patient with him; was very encouraging and offered many handy tips for him and me ( I am an advanced diver). Throughout all 3 try dives, my friend thoroughly enjoyed himself and is now looking to get his certification done. He isn't a strong swimmer and is afraid of the water; but Alice managed to help make his experience a pleasant one. If you're thinking of trying scuba diving, please please please CHOOSE TO DO THIS COURSE WITH ALOHA! Thank you so much Alice for the wonderful experience and for replying all my long emails promptly. We had such an amazing time in phuket!!!! I would also like to thank Scuba Cat because we went on the boat with them, their crew were extremely helpful and the food was great!

We went on the full day Try Scuba Diving experience with Alice from Aloha and it was absolutely fantastic. Alice was really helpful and attentive so that you felt relaxed and comfortable at all times, meaning we were able to fully enjoy the 3 long dives we went on. The day included board on the Dive Cats boat with great crew, breakfast, lunch and constant fruit and coffee available. Just get to sit back and enjoy the trip and your dives. We would thoroughly recommend Aloha and can't wait to come back.

I booked this day trip on the recommendations that I found on Trip Advisor. To my delight they turned out to be accurate. It was the best day of our holiday, well organised and relaxed. Bear in mind that I am a not very sporty, not very good snorkeller with a husband who is a very good snorkeller and very adventurous. I emailed Matt several times to check this was a suitable thing for us to do which he assured me it was. Everything ran according to the itinerary presented on the site. We were picked up on time at our hotel and taken to the Snuba offices for some instructions, pretty simple and we were even shown what sort of fish we could expect to see. We then were taken to the boat which was waiting at Rawai beach. A powerful boat that was certainly not full which gives great space and comfort. Nai Wan (sp??) is the photographer and goes on the dive with Matt and takes the most amazing photos. There are several staff on board and once you head to Racha Noi it is a very fast boat ride which can be a bit bumpy - call us idiots we loved it. Once we got to the first dive site we could hop overboard and do a bit of snorkelling. I have never seen such clear water and just snorkelling was a thrill. I was very very nervous to try this Snuba business but determined to give it a go. Matt is endlessly patient and even got me to do the take the regulator under water thing which I had a little panic attack about. Everything he showed us was correct and even I managed it. Then we had a gentle dive to introduce us to the whole idea. Of course my husband was off right away - no fear there. I was a bit more cautious and descended at the pace of a snail, however I got so carried away by the fish and coral that Matt was showing us that I was at the end of my 7m hose before I knew it. The time seemed to pass in a flash and the breathing was really comfortable, far easier than a snorkel. There never felt as if there was a rush to get anywhere and once the dive was finished and we'd swum a bit and generally faffed about it was time to go to the island for lunch. The boat drops you at a jetty where there is a tractor wagon type thing waiting to take you for a delicious lunch. The beach incidentally is totally beautiful, white fine sand and turquoise blue water, absolutely gorgeous. The lunch was delicious overlooking palm trees and the sea and we even passed some water buffalo on the way and saw a water monitor too. After this we went to another beach a few minutes away where the sand was just as white and it was according to Matt "real busy" with about 5 other people on the beach. Just gorgeous, I can't describe how beautiful and what a thrill it was, the boat lands you right on the beach and you can swim, tan or walk for a good half hour. Then another short boat ride away there is another dive, I think Matt's favourite which is also spectacular. At this site we saw a very unusual sight where Monks were having a swim in their habit!! This dive showed wonderful coral, a baby Nemo fish with its mother, the whole dive experience felt like swimming in an aquarium, it was that clear. I can't even begin to name all the different fish, sea slugs, corals of vivid colour and even a tiny eel. After the dive we were offered, as the previous time, heaps of fresh fruit, cold drinks, water or snacks - no starving on this trip. There was time for more snorkelling or sitting on the boat whatever you wished. To say this was the highlight of my 10 day holiday to Thailand is no exaggeration. We absolutely loved it, loved the company, it was like meeting new friends and were sorry the day was over. The CD's of photos were delivered as promised to our hotel. I would recommend this to anyone who fancies something a little more than a snorkel but not complicated like Scuba. Also a briliant introduction to Scuba for anyone contemplating it. Matt and Nam Wah just love the ocean and it shows in everything they do, I would also call them eco friendly as they are very aware of the damage that can be done to the coral etc. Can't recommend highly enough

Beste Tauchschule, die ich je erlebt habe! Es hat einfach alles gestimmt - super Betreuung, tolles Equipment, besonderer Fokus auf die Sicherheit (zum ersten Mal hat mir eine Tauschule vorab einen Online-Zugang zu Schulungsunterlagen zur Verfügung gestellt) und ein sehr schönes Boot mit allem, was man braucht. Ich habe sehr viel gelernt und hatte einen unbeschreiblich tollen Tauchtag, den ich bestimmt nicht mehr vergessen werde. Tausend Dank an das tolle Team! Ich kann nur allen empfehlen, diese Tauchschule zu wählen!

Als ich nach Phuket kam, wollte ich das Schnuppertauchen mal ausprobieren. Mir hat das soviel Spass gemacht, dass ich das zwischenzeitlich zum dritten Mal gemacht habe. Tauchen als Hobby brauch ich nicht, aber ein Boots-/Tauchausflug ist immer ein Highlight im Urlaub. Und die deutschsprachigen Tauchlehrer vereinfachen die Sache noch.
