My wife and I did a combo of horse trek and then clay shooting. We had an amazing time definately recommend. Clay shooting was an awesome experience We would definately recommend for people to do that we even purchased more ammo while we were up there. Think we found our new hobby. All the guides are incredible.

We did the Triple Pass, which I would highly recommend. The 4 Wheel ATV experience up to the lookout was not only amazingly fun but the view!! Also, our guide was immensely knowledgeable about the area and what we were looking at. The horseback ride to the top, although to the same lookout, gave you a totally different perspective, especially on the way down as you went pass sheep and cow right next to you, mooing and bahing at you. The pictures we got were fantastic. Finally the clay shooting! OMG! I have been before but never my wife. We got to the beautiful shooting boxes on the hill and after a brief safety overview we were off. I had NEVER hit a clay before, but have shot guns a decent amount. Thanks to their amazing instructions, not only did I hit 7 clays, but my wife who NEVER even held a gun hit 7 as well! Yes, I know….not sure whether to be proud or embarrassed at myself. 😂 I cannot recommend enough.

The most memorable was horseback riding along the mountainside and seeing the sheep graze along the land. The horses were well trained. The side by side experience was also amazing, driving deep in the forest and seeing the tall native trees overhead and ferns was breath taking. Views along the hill side were beautiful overlooking Rotorura Lake. All the staff members were gracious and very helpful.

My partner and I 💯 recommend adventure playground!! Definitely enjoyed our time out there today (28/05/2023) horse trekking riding on the buggy and clay shooting tour guides were amazing & the owners were lovely!! we had a blast and will definitely be back with our besties to celebrate my birthday in November 🙌

Great experience for all the family grandparent, mum and boys all loved it. Impressive location and setup, great safety measures, experienced friendly staff, well cared for happy horses and well trained guides. We enjoyed pony ride, paintball, archery and 4x4 self drive and clay shooting- just an awesome afternoon we all throughly enjoyed. Will definitely spread the word and return.

Did Zorbing, Hellsgate, but this hands down was the funnest activity in Rotorua. The horses, the off-road the shooting. All super fun. Even my girlfriend loved shooting the clays - this is a must book activity. Just an all around fun adventure.

4 wheel drive was more challenging than expected, great fun. Horses nice and tame and mostly did what were told. Beautiful spot to do clay shooting. All round very worth it.

Great fun activities and the staff were absolutely amazing- super friendly, reassuring and professional! This was our first visit but we’ll definitely be back. Kids loved it.

We had such an incredible time with the team at Rotorua Adventure Playground! The triple pass was the highlight of our stay in Rotorua and all the staff were amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable. I couldn't pick which activity I liked the best, the whole experience was phenomenal!! The horse trek up the mountain in the rain felt magical, and its very easy to fall in love with these beautiful animals. I even got to meet "Doughboy" who (now retired) played a part in Lord of the rings with Liv Tyler. The 4x4 self drive was so much fun and we learnt a lot about the history of Fairy Mountain and the people who lived there. The lookout spots where just superb! Clay shooting was exhilarating and as it was our first time shooting, we had a ball! In fact, the only downside was when we had finished, and I already wanted to go back! In fact, I'm already planning on taking some of my family over next school holidays. Craig and the team, we miss yous already - Well done on an awesome adventure, and a big thank you to all for making our time there memorable!!!

Great experience in Rotorua. It is a must go if you like horse riding, mountain road driving and clay bird shooting. Really worth the price. Recommend all of them. Many thanks to staff Sean & Ihaia, they are nice and extremely patient even we didn't shoot good. Have a great fun there and will definitely consider to come again.

Well worth it. Staff are really friendly and the activities were well done. Our guide knows alot about iPhone operations & took some great shots with our phone.

We had a great day doing the Triple pass starting with 4x4 Self Drive with my wife taking the wheel and excelling in keeping us on the track. Kani was brilliant as our lead, patient, humorous and had a great feel for his customers. Loads of fun and plenty of Adrenalin. My first time on a horse with the trek exceeding all expectations and again fantastic guide. Finally found my mojo at the Clay Pidgeon shooting outshining my wife. Again a great experience. We will certainly be back with friends to share these experiences.

In our 4 day trip to Rotorua we visited this place initially for the shooting. We had such an amazing time doing this. Our instructor that day (forget his name) was incredible! He taught us everything we needed to know, making us feel comfortable and safe the whole time. After shooting we noticed how good the horse trekking looked. Today we returned for the horse riding a little more shooting. Our trekking guide Jaye was amazing! She made us all feel comfortable and safe, maintaining her happy bubbly personality. We could definitely tell she loved and was proud of her job!! Following our horse riding we did some more shooting with Joseph who was great! He did so well helping us and also some of the other more nervous shooters. We couldn’t be more happy with our exeperience! You’ve made two shooting addicts out of us and we can’t wait to return! Just a side note: while we were there we met another staff member (I think his name was Craig?) he was the most welcoming, joyful and personable person I have met here! He deserves a massive shout out as he has made our experience even better! Thank you all so much! We can’t wait to see you soon... probably tomorrow.. see you then haha

We did the 4x4 buggy self drive which was excellent. Really good fun and amazing views of the mountains and lakes. We also did some shooting with the different types of shotguns which was just awsome. We loved our morning here and we will be back 150%. Staff are really cool people which just makes the experience perfect.
