A great hike, friendly guide, and an overall worthwhile experience. Altitude was not a factor, and we traveled rapidly, which suited me.

I had always wanted to see Aconcagua. Cristina was a superb guide: knowledgeable, informative and a great companion in the mountains for a solo traveller. She set just the right pace for me at my age and we reached Confluencia after 3 hours. At the camp, Cristina pulled out of her rucksack an incredible lunch: boiled eggs, fresh bread, salami, cheese and, can you believe it, an avocado and a cup of tea. Wow! It took 2.5 hours to get back down and we then drove back to Mendoza. The weather was glorious. A wonderful experience and grateful thanks to Cristina for making it so enjoyable.

My friend and I had an amazing experience on the Aconcagua. Our guide Zaira is a professional mountaineer and truly loves her job and the national park. She provided interesting information about the nature and her good mood and energetic character made the trekking to Confluencia an awesome adventure. The lunch prepeard by the head of the company (Joaquin) was besides the nature one of the highlights of the tour. I definitely would recommend doing the tour with this company!

Joaquin and this trek were the best way to end our stay here in Argentina. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work and we thoroughly enjoyed his company. He is professional, easy to talk with and made the whole day absolutely wonderful. The trek is beautiful and he had little touches that made the day even more memorable. Could not recommend him enough for any trek you are thinking of treking with him!!

The hike to Confluencia base camp with Destino Montaña was excellent. Our guide Joaquin (who is also the owner) was lovely and knowledgable - full of information about the mountain and surrounding environment. He is really passionate about his business and committed to giving the customer a unique and personalised experience. After the 3 hour hike to Confluencia, we had a delicious lunch before heading back down. If you are thinking of hiking in the Mendoza area, I highly recommend Destino Montaña for fabulous service and a great experience.

When we were first planning our visit to Mendoza, we thought of devoting most of our time to wineries and little trips around the city. After doing some research and talking to locals, we were told by many to visit Aconcagua or at least try to fit a trip into our schedule to visit the Andes mountains. We went on tripadvisor, FB and other travel sites but we only found multiple day trips to the mountains, or trips that drove you in a car/van around different sights the whole day. There were only very few "active" options - either riding horses, hiking nearby mountains, or rafting. My gf and I really enjoying hiking so we didn't want to spend 7-8 hours in a car and after a ton of research, we were fortunate to find Destino Montaña (2 days before our trip): Since our first contact through WhatsApp, Joaco was extremely helpful, straightforward and clearly knowledgeable of the mountains and different options. Our goal was to see a beautiful landscape and have the opportunity to hike for a couple of hours in the mountain. We agreed to visit and hike Arenales in Valle de Uco, and Joaco agreed to pick us up at 8am. He showed up on time, and mentioned that the weather didn't look good in Arenales or Vallecitos - there was a high chance of winds and rain, which would've made the trip and hike a little miserable baed on our goals. He suggested instead making the drive to Aconcagua and hike up to camp Confluencia, the first basecamp at 3400 meters. Long story short, we said yes, drove 3 hours to the base of Aconcagua and the landscape was absolutely incredible. We hiked to the base for 3 hours, had lunch for about an hour, came down and then drove back to the city. Joaco was very knowledgeable of the history of the area, the mountains and a great mountaineer - guiding us at a good pace to enjoy the hike/walk, and sharing really interesting stories along the way. We had some mate, a really good and healthy sandwich for lunch, some coffee and snacks, and overall an awesome time. I'd highly recommend Destino Montaña for anyone who wants to do a private tour in the mountains with a true expert and for a really good price - Joaco is not only certified, but graduated as a mountaineer. It was also very fortunate that we had a flexible guide who was willing to change our itinerary and hike at our pace to make our experience worthwhile. We had such a great time that after this trip, we made it one of our goals to come back and hike Aconcagua guided by Joaco!

Muy confiable la empresa, los chicos desde el que nos llevo hasta el guia excelente en todo momento ocupándose de nosotras. Muy recomendable

foi muito bom! aquele cansaço que te deixa feliz! 30mil passos, quase 800m de elevação contando subidas e descidas no caminho(16km ida e volta). fotos lindas e o guia(ferney)/motorista que foram bem gentis. Aos desavisados lembrar que são 3hs de ida e 3hs de volta de carro ate a saída do trekking! Então saímos as 7:30 e chegamos 8hs da noite! ida incrível. So fica a dica pra agencia que um carro como o chronos (sedan simples) com 3 adultos grandes atras fica complicado em uma viagem de carro longa. Fique reparado pra muito vento e poeira. Use protetor solar e leve muita agua(garrafa de 1,5l/pessoa vai bem). Não usamos sapato impermeável, nao precisou e fica mais leve e confortável.

Una experiencia inolvidable! Sin dudas es un trekking con cierto nivel de exigencia pero se pudo! Mauricio, el guía, respetó los tiempos de todos y nos fue cuidando en todo el camino. El parque es hermoso, el camino imponente y cuando luego de varias horas de caminata en subida llegamos al campamento fue un momento increíble, un recuerdo hermoso para terminar el año. Comimos una picada muy rica, descansamos un rato y partimos de regreso para estar a las 18 en la puerta del parque. Volvería a hacerlo y super recomiendo al equipo de Destino Montaña.

Excelente la empresa Destino Montaña, tanto Joaquín que te explica todos los detalles, como Vanina, que fué la guía y es una genia. Yo tenía mis dudas de si iba a poder llegar a Confluencia porque es un Trekking exigente fisimente, pero con la guía y confianza de Vanina pude lograr la meta. Y todo eso fué una gran satisfacción, el lograr algo para mí muy importante que es llegar al primer campamento base del Aconcagua, y el trato cálido y humano de esta empresa. Yo ya había hecho con ellos un Trekking en cordón del plata, los volví a elegir y si me animo a algún otro Trekking más exigente claramente los volveré a elegir.

Realizamos dos días de Trekking. El primer día al parque Aconcagua, pasando por Puente del Inca y una noche de refugio, al día siguiente muy tempranito fuimos a la Quebrada Cruz de Caña. El profesionalismo, la responsabilidad y la calidez de Destino Montaña , superó ampliamente nuestras expectativas. Una experiencia única que llevaremos en nuestra alma por siempre.
