Raju was an amazing guide for us. Very experimented, always colaborated with us on creating the itinerary, very friendly and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our time on ABC trek and felt safe and welcomed. I would really recommend him 100%. Our porter Goddis was also amazing and very flexible and we really aplreciated them both a lot! I hiked the Khopra Ridge Trek with Raju mid-April. I was alone with Raju for 6 days. Raju organized everything perfectly and adapted to every single one of my wishes. When I was tired and slowed down a bit, Raju always made sure to stay a few meters in front. When I wanted to go fast and decided to walk two days in a single one, Raju ensured we made it and showed me some shortcuts. He always secured accommodation and transportation and I never had to handle any of the logistics, only make the decisions, which he allowed me to make even at the very last minute. Raju was also a great conversation partner during days of hiking: I learned a lot about Nepalese culture and politics as I was interested in these topics; and when I wanted to focus on the path and stayed silent for hours, Raju always let me enjoy the peaceful mountains. I had an amazing experience in the Nepalese mountains and am thankful to Raju for having made it as good as it was!

I had an amazing day trip hiking with Raju. We started at Kande and hiked to Australian Camp onto Pothana, Damphus and ending in Phedi. As a solo female 'older' traveller I felt very safe with the pace that Raju set and he was very patient and kind. I especially enjoyed the knowledge that Raju shared about the local areas we hiked through and also our conversations. I really enjoyed the villages that we passed through hiking down to Phedi. The best guide in Pokhara! Raju Dai was amazing. We trekked to Annapurna base camp with him, and took an alternate route on the way back to see as many areas and villages as possible. Raju was professional, knowledgable, and extremely good company with amazing conversation and information about the areas we passed through. Raju was a great guide who really aided our first time alpine trekking. He was super friendly and also had great knowledge of not only the trek but flora and fauna. Me and my friends had a great time doing the Mardi Himal trek and would definitely recommend to others !

Myself and my partner trekked with Raju for 10 days starting from Pokhara, we caught the bus together to begin trekking in Ulleri, visiting Annapurna Base Camp and Mardi Himal Base Camp, and ending in Lumri where we got a bus back together to Pokhara. Myself and my partner had a planned itinerary of where we wanted to go, the distance we wanted to cover each day and the village we wanted to stay for the night. Raju was very welcoming of the plan but was also very flexible in making changes as we required. The trekking with Raju was a delight, Raju is an experienced guide with over 30 years of experience in the mountains. The experience shows, as everything was well organised, we stayed in tea houses which had nice food and gave us extra blankets which was needed in December. Raju is not only well organised but also an amazing, intelligent and funny person; he taught us lots about Nepalese culture, wildlife and world issues affecting Nepal. We had lots of laughs and jokes and Raju was also very interested to learn about ourselves. Raju picked us up from our hostel at around 7:15am, he took us to the bus station where we got the bus to Ulleri. We began trekking for 10 days to Annapurna Base Camp and then to Mardi Himal Base Camp. Each day we would speak to Raju about the route and whether we could go further or less than planned depending on how we are feeling. We are already planning on returning to Nepal to go trekking with Raju again, what a guy!

Raju is an outstanding guide and made our trip absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He was so flexible with what we wanted our itinerary to be and made us feel entirely safe the whole trek. We did ABC with Mardi Himal Base camp and many people thought our itinerary was impossible, but Raju knew we could achieve what we set out! Raju is also extremely personable and kind, he made us feel so comfortable and we had lots of interesting conversations across our 10 days together. I will miss seeing Raju but already planning our next trip with him. 100% recommend his expert guiding services!!

Raju just may be the BEST guide in all of Annapurna 🏔️ We were lucky enough to have secured his services for a 15 day trek round Annapurna Circuit and couldn’t have asked for a better host. My partner and I did the Annapurna Circuit over 15 days with Raju after a recommendation from friends who have trekked with Raju previously. Raju is very knowledgeable about the Annapurna region and shared with us the culture and history of Nepal. He knows all the mountain names, all the best towns for lunch and overnight stays and always got us good rooms throughout the trek. He is extremely attentive and happy.
