This neighborhood tour may be entertaining if you have a few days stay in Hamburg and are looking for a fun activity to do with friends or family. If you are in Hamburg only for a day or coming from cruise ship - this activity does not go into the main square of city - only the HafenCity neighborhood. Come early, if you miss start time more than 15 minutes, you missed your chance. The place can be tricky to find - it is an appartment on ground floor of a multi story apartment building. May be better for a smaller crowd - one bookbag/ set of instructions to share with too many people gets uncomfortable.

This is like the greatest escape room but even better because it's outside! We spend 3 hours (could be done faster if not for rain). The details are spectacular! Done really well! It's a different and great way to see Hafen City. Even my boyfriend who normally isn't into games, loved it! I would normally post pictures but will leave them out here as they could ruin the experience :)

If you like escape rooms, you will love this! It's a great way to interact with the city and see a lot of the highlights while working with your group to solve different tasks along the way.

What an excellent 'adventure'. It was my birthday and what a great way to spend it, exoring and learning about HafenCity. We saw and learned things we'd never had learned on our own. Fabulous afternoon! We walked loads and certainly had to think!

We have done a lot of "escape rooms" and a couple of outdoor treasure hunts, and this was one of the best! The puzzles were always logical and worked perfectly in English. You explore Hafen City at a nice pace, and the distance between activities is never too far. The weather was terrible on the day we did it, so if you are booking on short notice, I'd suggest checking the forecast first, the docks are very windy. The lady running the service is very friendly and helpful.

Nice experience with good exploration to explore hafencity. Challenging puzzles. Recommended for friends or families. People of organization are nice to talk to. Good sense of humor, especially the woman.

Great experience in HafenCity, we really enjoyed getting the opportunity to walk through and explore HafenCity and solving riddles at the same time. Perfect for an afternoon activity 2-3 hours on a nice day out. Like other people have mentioned, the only thing would be to offer group discount if you are more people since you still get one bag no matter how many people you are.

The puzzles were just tricky enough, and the whole thing felt very proffessional but at the same time very personal. We had such a great time!

This was an interesting few days wandering around solving puzzles - we loved that is was in backpacks with a book, map, compass and plenty of locks to unlock! It stimulated our minds and we had plenty of laughs.

Great experience and a fun way to see Hafen City in Hamburg. Ideal for people that love escape rooms but wants an outdoor activity along the way. The only negative thing is lack of discounts the more people you go with. In the end regardless of the amount of explorers you get one backpack with the same riddles so in my opinion it would be more attractive to tourist if it followed ER pricing where the more attendees the lower price per person. Overall 5/5 and definitely a new activity on our radars when abroad

Great experience. Was a neat way to see the city (and the amphitheater). Would be great if they had several scavenger hunts.

The puzzle design is amazing, really well put together with clear instructions and very witty writing. Also we loved the information about various landmarks peppered throughout the puzzle. Unfortunately for us we got a bit lost and realized this when the puzzles stopped making sense. As a result we had to backtrack until we were sure we were at the correct point (which can be challenging in an unfamiliar city). To the puzzle's credit, there are hints and solutions provided which helped us out, and you can phone the treasure hunt organisers if you're really stuck. The key takeaway is that you should definitely do this if you're in town. We'd certainly do it again, except this time we would do exactly as we're told, and try not to second guess ourselves!

We thought the hunt was well thought out and smart. We enjoyed the challenge. Finding out about Hafen City was extra. Dani and I both like puzzles so we were engaged, laughed a lot at ourselves and we didn't cheat once. We used the clues MOST of the time. All in all its one of our more memorable, clever and enjoyable 'tour' experiences in our trip.

This was fun. What a different way to familiarize yourself with the sites of the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our adventure and laughted often.

It is always a delight to roam around in Hafen City, but this time with a target was even more enjoyable. The Treasure Hunt was rightly managed and Natalia was so helpful and humble. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The challenges were set quite thoughtfully. And there were just appropriate amounts of details in the instructions, not less not more :) I would definitely recommend it to everyone who likes to have fun with a little challenge.

It was a great experience. We had a lot of fun. Tasks were very interesting, and kids (14 y.o.) really enjoyed the process. If you would like to explore Hafencity and have fun together, we would highly recommend it.

Really great way to spend the afternoon. You learn a lot about history and get to notice smaller, less obvious corners of the city. It's a suitable level for families with teenagers too (as in not too easy and will keep them off their phones/stop them rolling their eyes/grunting for a few hours).
