Thanks to Suren, we had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka. He’s a lovely man who is very knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. We did a 13 day tour which he helped to plan and organise. The trip was flawless. He knew all the best sites and restaurants to visit. He is an excellent and safe driver and was flexible with last minute changes we made to our itinerary. We highly recommend Suren.

We booked a private 13 day tour of Sri Lanka. It was custom made for us. We decided where to go and what to do. Once we agreed on what we wanted suren took care of everything. He stayed with us all the time and showed us his beautiful country. He was accommodating to whatever we wanted to do. Highly recommend.

A 13 day tour with Natureland tours was the trip of the year for us. Hassle free from driving and parking Surrendra took us to many sites we agreed upon in the programme. The highlights of the tour included wild animals at Yala national park, fresh water animals such as water monitors and alligators, trip to little Adam's peak, Pollonaruwa and Anuradhapura, Buddhist temples Nuwara Eliya and Ella to mention a few. Surrendra responded to all our needs and took so much patience with us.

This tour was absolutely amazing and was fantastic from beginning to end. Our guide Suran was superb and put together an amazing tour. We just gave him a list of where we wanted to go and Suran did the rest. The hotels were amazing, the itinerary always worked well and Suran was always willing to adapt to suit our needs as we went along. Suran was always on time, drove very safely and was always helpful and smiling. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide to experience this beautiful country and can highly recommend.

This is the second time that we have used Surendra as a driver and it won’t be the last. On a 12 day tour to the north his resourcefulness was amazing. He is a phenomenal driver negotiating the manic traffic here in SriLanka. His knowledge and experience is second to none. He is a really lovely man, caring and conscious of our requests. Many thanks to Natureland Tours and basically to Suren who organized and materialized the entire trip from scratch. We were there in December for our honeymoon. Suren is an experienced local who specializes in the organization of this type of touristic trips. The only thing we had to do is to explain our style of traveling and type of hotels we like (5-star of local boutique) so that he can customize it based on our preferences. He also booked everything for us. Suren is always smiley and polite with very good energy. Always helpful and ready to offer you what you need during the trip. If you feel like walk around a city, he stops and guides you, if you feel like taking a hike, he gives you recommendations, if you feel tired and sick, he gets your back. Many thanks for the amazing trip again!! Definitely recommended!

Sri Lanka - great choice, don't not go, absolutely loved it. The cherry, on the icing, on the cake was our personal driver, Suren. He welcomed us at the airport and from that moment on his care and attention meant we were completely worry free. We had arranged our 6 day tour itinerary ahead of our arrival but with Suren's intimate knowledge of his beautiful homeland we were able to enjoy many other unexpected sights. I would offer the advice of booking your own flights and arranging everything else (on the island) by making direct contact with Suren. He is more than able, and willing, to advise on, and organise, a holiday that will provide memories to cherish. You can save yourself a bob or two to boot!

I have done many tours over the world and Surendra is first class. He was always on time, consultative, looked out for me and found side trips that fitted my personal tastes. This was one of the best holidays I have ever had in my life and will return to do it again with Surendra.

My mother and I had an 8 night tour of South Sri Lanka in February. We were so lucky to have Suren as our guide. Suren collected us at the airport and presented us with traditional Sri Lankan flower necklaces to welcome us. This was a lovely gesture. Suren had fresh water bottles in the car for us and the car was very comfortable. We felt very safe with Suren's driving - even in the crazy Sri Lanka traffic! Suren is very patient and kind. His knowledge of Sri Lanka is faultless - he told us so much of the history and made it so personal. Suren was very flexible and accommodating - he guided us on all our trip itinerary and fit in other plans when we had some spare time. Suren booked extra activities for us and made excellent recommendations. Suren went above and beyond to make our trip so memorable. Our driver/guide, Surendra, greeted us at the airport with the traditional Sri Lankan flower garlands - a lovely welcome to this beautiful country. We have travelled to many places around the world, and Surendra is one of the friendliest, most helpful, genuine, knowledgeable, and professional guides we have met. We saw some wonderful sites and shared lots of laughs. Always there with a helping hand, especially when climbing up and down steep wet boulders during our trek across Horton Plains - thank you so much 😁. The elephants were absolutely amazing, a joy to see in the wild with great company. We always felt in safe hands with Surendra at the wheel. And not forgetting the great photos. We have had a fabulous adventure. Thank you, Suren 🙂

This was the first tour my family have done, it was wonderful having Suren to help us plan our trip, drive us around Sri Lanka and be our tour guide for 9 days. Suren gave us a suggested itinerary which we researched and altered slightly - he offered good advice and made excellent hotel choices. Suren was very kind to all of us and made a super effort to connect with our 10 year old daughter. Sri Lanka is incredible - such a beautiful mix of tea plantations, green valleys & mountains and breath-taking coastline. Suren found all sorts of places to take us on route from place to place and I feel we had experiences we wouldn't have had if we were independently travelling. Suren showed compassion to all the people we met and had a fantastic knowledge of Sri Lanka. I fully recommend using Suren as your tour guide - he made our holiday very relaxing and enjoyable. Nature Land Tours was absolutely amazing. Suren came recommended and did an exceptional job of taking us around Sri Lanka visiting the many wonderous sights and scenes which included waterfalls, tea plantations, spice gardens, an elephant orphanage and many more. Suren enlightened us of the history and provided more insight of the places we visited which made it even more interesting. My wife and I were touring with our 9 month old baby and Suren made sure of our safety and guided us towards baby friendly activities. He also doubled up as a nanny, looking after and playing with the little one. On so many occasions, he carried her stroller with her inside up and down staircases while she slept blissfully. We can't thank you enough for all the extra care. We travelled quite heavy, Suren made every attempt to accomodate our luggage as we moved from place to place. Having a customised tour with Natureland Tours took all the stress out of navigating this incredible country. Suren was fantastic and has incredible knowledge of the country, nature and all there is to know. From the moment we arrived to leaving he guided us and supported us the whole way. Being 6 months pregnant we were always unsure how well I would cope with the trip but Suren was very courteous and aware of my situation and took this into account with our activities, we would highly recommend Natureland tours and hope to revisit Sri Lanka and use them again in the future. I traveled solo (December 18 - January 12), and my tour was 19 days, which turned into 26 days (due to an error from Sri Lankan Airlines). Nature Land Tours helped me to realize my dream vacation in Sri Lanka and was truly a rewarding experience. I made new connections, enjoyed unique experiences, and now have precious memories, thanks to Nature Land Tours's, Mr. Surendra (my tour guide, chauffeur, caretaker, and photographer). Surendra acknowledged me as a queen and treated me like royalty, waiting on me hand and foot (from day 1). Suren is more then a tour guide, he is an excellent driver as well, plus he has a lot of knowledge about the landscape, history and many other things. We were met at Columbo Airport by our guide and driver, Surendra Subasinghe of Nature land Tours who was our companion and guide on our travels through Sri Lanka, until our final stay at Anantaya Hotel at Chilaw. Suren, as he asked to be called, was friendly, professional, incredibly knowledgeable about the history, culture and religions of Sri Lanka. He was also amazing at spotting and showing us the wildlife around us. He was flexible in managing our itinerary and worked hard to make it look easy to meet our needs and give us as good a holiday as we could have. He seemed to have excellent relationships with the staff at the venues that we visited, such as the tea plantation and factory, and his help and guidance in the temples made what would have been a bewildering and confusing experience meaningful and a valuable part of our holiday. We felt we were apart of the experience, rather than a witness or visitor. Without his care and attention our holiday would not have been as magical and involving as it became. We would have no hesitation in recommending Suren as a holiday guide, driver and companion to anyone whose holiday would be made better by understanding Sri Lanka.
