My girlfriend and I attended this cooking class in April and had the best time. From beginning to end, Putu and her husband exuded warmth and hospitality. Their cooking class, set in their lovely home, is meticulously arranged, and the dishes they prepare are simply delightful! Highly recommend!

The experience was so beautiful and Putu is such a warm, friendly lady who was great to have chats and a laugh with. Her cooking class is very well organised in her beautiful home and the food is so delicious! I would do this class again to learn more of her amazing recipes and explore her family property during the day. Loved every bit of this experience for my husband and myself.

Putu was amazing! She was so gracious, giving and thoughtful. It was the best activity by far! I’m so glad I did it. She welcomed me into her home and taught me how to cook 5 items for a traditional Balinese meal. She taught me as if she was a professional chef. Each ingredient was displayed beautifully, she described each ingredient in detail, and shared its origin. Putu had me do everything from the prep work to all the cooking, she simply directed me. I can’t wait to do it again on my next trip! Highly recommend!

What an authentic cooking experience with Putu on the family farm in a traditional Balinese house and setting. She promptly picked us up at our Ubud hotel for the 40 minute drive to her home. Everything we cooked was grown on her large farm - chickens, rice, sweet potatoes, corn, long beans, spices and more. We actually did all the cooking, not a demonstration class. We have taken cooking classes all over the world and this was one of our best experiences.

My husband and I truly enjoyed every single moment of this cooking lesson. Putu is very sweet and welcoming! She explains the culture and ideology of cooking beyond just cooking itself. Cooking instructions are easy to follow and beginner friendly. They ask for your input and feedback frequently. You can tell that Putu takes pride in her cooking. All the food we made with her tasted fantastic and fresh. It’s really the “Farm-to-table” experience that any foodie would appreciate. Strongly recommend 💕

Cooking with Putu was the highlight of our entire family trip! She was absolutely incredible, knowledgeable, and funny! My young boys (9 & 11) were fully involved and tried everything, even a raw Balinese chili pepper. The food was absolutely delicious and we were able to take our leftovers with us. I cannot speak highly enough of Putu and this experience, it’s an absolute must-do! We love you, Putu!

My daughter and I just had the most wonderful time cooking with Putu at her family farm outside of Ubud. She was kind, patient and an excellent cook! Not to mention - the food tasted absolutely fabulous! What a gem of an experience!

Putu and her family were very welcoming. She gave me a tour of her temple, home and farm before explaining the different food products we were going to use. The food ingredients provided were sourced either from her farm or the local market. As a professional chef myself I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson

Putu is a really friendly and nice woman who can show you the art of Indonesian cooking with clear instructions and explanations. She also showed us around her house and was very eager to help us with any question or issue! One of the best experiences you can do in the area around ubud!! Highly recommended!!! The food was soooooo delicious and we could barely move because we ate so much of the delicious things we cooked together. Also big thank you for putus family and her husband for picking us up and driving us back to ubud. We cannot wait to come home and try to cook the food again :) Ask her to pick you up early to go to the morning market before the cooking class! That was amazing thank you!!!

We had such a lovely and enjoyable experience at our private cooking class. Puta was so friendly, kind and attentive from the moment we booked. She was very flexible with my husbands dietary requirements and allergies and ensured we were well catered for. She showed us around her home, the various temples and we even learnt about many Balinese traditions. The class was so well organised and her assistant seamlessly organised and tidied everything whilst we cooking. After making our 5 dishes, we were able to enjoy them with an ice cold beer. We took home the leftovers too- what more could you ask for? Thank you Putu! Couldn’t recommend this experience more!

It was an absolute pleasure to cook in Putu's family home. She is a very good teacher and the 5 different foods we made were delicious! We would recommend everyone to take this cooking class.

Amazing way to see a true traditional intonation home and garden. Everything we used to cook was grown and produced on their family property. Putu was a great teacher and food was amazing. Make sure your hungry when you go as there will be lots of delicious food by the end.

We had an amazing experience with Putu! Under her instruction we were cooking 5 delicious meals with fresh ingredients (almost all from her garden) and learned something about Balinese food and culture in a very beautiful environment. We would highly recommend the cooking class with Putu. She was very friendly and hospitable. It was also possible to ask for a complete vegan menu. We really loved the food! I recently traveled to Bali for a week to celebrate my 40th birthday. This cooking class was one of the first activities on my itinerary. Putu, our hostess, and her family were warm and welcoming. They taught us a lot about Balinese culture. Putu's recipes and instructions were easy to follow. The food turned out delicious. They even bought me a birthday cake! It truly was a memorable experience! It was one of the highlights of my trip and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Bali.

Experiencing the family home of Putu was one of the most humbling experiences of a lifetime… hearing and seeing how they are living daily life is so amazing and inspiring… it’s one thing to go to a restaurant to learn cooking but it’s next level to experience this in a multigenerational Balinese home. Putu is such a wonderful knowledgeable and calm teacher making everyone feel so welcome and comfortable. The ingredients almost all from their garden and the dishes were delicious! Enjoyed our cooking with a beer and Putu arranged for us to take rest with us. So thankful for Putu and family welcoming us into their home. Will be coming again 💗

We have a great evening learning to cook traditional Bali dishes with Putu at her home! She took time to share with us various traditions and information about Balinese culture too. We are picked up from our hotel (and also sent back at the end) and the entire experience is comfortable and enriching. Having an authentic local experience beats visiting attractions all day, we went home having a full stomach with lots of knowledge on species/ingredients/cooking skills!
