My wife and I had a great day with Tom on a private Game of Thrones tour in Dubrovnik. It turned out that it was just us on the tour and as GOT fans, it was a tremendous experience. Tom was so knowledgeable about not only GOT but also the history of the Dubrovnik old city.

Tom is very good guide. He knows a lot about game of thrones and the history of Dubrovnik. It was a nice experience. And with private tour everything is more personalized

The walking tour was wonderful especially this december since there was no crowd and we were able to take great pictures. Tom was a great guide in showing us the film locations and also sharing a brief history of dubrovnik. He was very accomodating with all our questions and also considerate as we were with an elderly.

We had an amazing time with Neno. His knowledge of the area was amazing and he knew the best spots for some breathtaking views and photos. Not only were the conversations great but this man was dedicated to giving us each such personalized care. As the only GoT fan in our group he made sure I got to see some iconic spots while also caring for the rest of the group. He was being pulled in 4 different directions and he went above and beyond to meet our individual interests.

Nino, our guide, was excellent. We booked a private tour. We wanted to see Dubrovnik, and are not necessarily Game of Thrones viewers. Dubrovnik was beautiful and only surpassed by Nino's guidance. We learned about the history and so much more as he walked us through the streets. We had a great coffee stop with him - where he personally went to a pharmacy to collect some medicine we needed!! He provided individualized care of everyone in our party. We liked Nino so much that we insisted he had lunch with us!! The sites, food and history... we enjoyed it all!! Tom was terrific in answering my many questions and setting up the tour for us. I highly recommend this organization for your travel and touring needs!!

My daughter and I are great GOT fans. Had a fabulous tour with Tom. Tom knew how to navigate the crowds so we were never overwhelmed and felt very safe. Far more than a GOT tour; he is so knowledgeable about the history of Dubrovnik. He is so much fun, his English is perfect AND he’s very soothing on the eyes!!! We highly recommend taking this tour.

We did a private tour with Tour BY Locals and used Tom (Tomislav). He was excellent for many reasons. His command of the history was amazing. We toured the city walls and he incorporated the G of T locations with the actual history of the city. He also negotiated the crowds to get us to less busy locations before the crowds arrived. He was also very easy to listen to since his English was excellent and his volume and clarity carried above the crowds. You will be very pleased by choosing Tom!!

Tom was strongly recommended to us by a friend who had been on one of his tours previously and he did not disappoint. He was brilliant! Tom was really knowledgeable with lots of inside details and great fun to be with. It was wonderful to see the pictures from the scenes of Games of Thrones at the locations we visited. Tom knew the best times to go to the locations so that we could avoid the crowds, it was amazing to have the Red Keep to ourselves! Tom also gave us lots of tips on how to get the best out of our trip to Dubrovnik which were invaluable. Tom's tour was the highlight of our trip and I would definitely book a tour with him again! I cannot recommend Tom enough!

My friend and I just returned from traveling to Dubrovnik with a group of 22. My all-time highlight was our tour with Tomislav (Tom)! He brought us places I would have never dreamed of going. His knowledge, enthusiasm and humor made the experience exceptional. I loved that we each had our own ear pieces provided by Tom, allowing me to hear everything detail of his tour and never miss a piece of history he was sharing. Tom encouraged questions and had an elaborative/informative response. As a bonus, he also gave us tips on must-see locations and favored restaurants, which we found to be amazing! Thank you Tom! Tomislav was an energetic and excellent guide full of moving Croatian history as well as the finer points of The Game if Thrones. He clearly knew his audience with knowledge of our home country as well as our typical idioms and how the two cultures were similar. He was flexible as well as easy to be around for the many days we were in Dubrovnik.

Tom was extremely informative not only about the various places where scenes of GOT were shot, but of the history of old town of Dubrovnik. It was very informative and he had pictures of the various scenes from GOT to help show where things took place. He also provided us suggestions for lunch. I highly recommend taking this tour.

Tom was excellent ! We were 4 friends traveling in Croatia and decided to book this tour based on the reviews . We were so pleased we did! The GOT information and photos along with historical points were fabulous! Highly recommend this tour!

Having been on a GOT tour in Girona out of Barcelona this was a bit disppointing - I can fully understand why Dubrovnik was chosen as one of the sites but so much was CGI - it was hard to remember. Our tour guide was terrific but Girona tour so much better.

Great tour with lots of GOT facts. Tour guide Tom was great at helping us avoid the cruise ship mobs of tourists and took us in a different order. He also included historical info about Dubrovnik for the non-GOT fans.

Tomislav (Tom) Matana did an amazing job combining history of the Old City Dubrovnik with a tour of GoT filming sites. Tom was very personable, knowledgeable and lots of fun. He communicated well prior, during and after the tour. He also gave us helpful intel for the rest of our time in Dubrovnik. Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed this morning tour with Tom, learning about the history of Old Town Dubrovnik, the moving parts way back when and now - both real life and that seen in Game of Thrones. Tom was wonderful in accommodating the needs and limitations of the slower members of our group and we all feel like we got to see much of what makes the Old Town of Dubrovnik so awe inspiring and magnificent. It was a perfect way to start off our stay and Tom gave us great advice on what else we may want to experience while we were in the area. It was a great time that encompassed a lot of information and a lot of beautiful sights and prospectives of the city. Plus Tom is quite the master with cell phone pictures - our group has tons of photos showing us at various locations throughout the City Walls that will help us remember the experience for years to come.

Tomislav Matana (Tom) was a great guide to the old city of Dubrovnik. It was just my wife and I and we didn't necessarily do a game of thrones tour I (picked it because it was the only choice in the drop down). We were looking for more of a historical tour of the old city history and we couldn't have been more pleased. Tom had a phenomenal command of the cities history and was able to impart it in a clear eloquent fashion. The day we were there it was quite crowded (evidently several cruise ships landed all at once) but Tom was able to negotiate the city avoiding the worst of the crush but still hitting all the highlights. He took us on an alternative tour of the wall which was practically empty and was easier in terms of climbing. Tom was very accommodating and endeavored to tailor the tour for what we wanted to accomplish. 5+ stars

Tom is an excellent guide! We met with him the first morning after our arrival so we could get the lay of the land so to speak. Tom showcased everything, giving us a good basis of knowledge so we could plan points of interest for the remainder of our stay. Very friendly, informative, and he adjusted the pace and path to accommodate some of our group who have bad knees and hips (quite an accomplishment in Dubrovnik). The views, architecture and history of old town are amazing.
