Awesome trip through three separate lakes with very beautiful interlinking waterways. Lots of fun information from our guides (who are also stuntmen), and a combination of quiet serene sailing and exciting speed boating. These little boats are serious fun. Guides were very thorough about safety and instructions, and always there to help if needed. We highly recommend this experience and company.

This tour was the best part of our Orlando vacation by far. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. The lakes/cypress marshes were beautiful, and the boats were thrilling. I have never driven a motor boat before, but these catamarans were easy to learn, very stable, and exciting. Since the boats only carry two people, the tour felt very private. The tour guide has a radio where he can tell you what is going on and your passenger has a radio to report any concerns, but otherwise, it is just the two of you in your boat either cruising at an easy pace amongst beautiful scenery or racing across lakes at up to 30 mph and feeling some of the lakes splash onto your feet and face. We would love to do this again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys being outside and wants a little controlled excitement on their vacation.

My son and I did the Tour of Lakes Escape while we were in Florida for a football game. It was the last day of our trip and we were on our way back to Tampa to catch our flight home later that day, so we booked the morning time slot. I'm glad we did, too, because we ended up getting our own personal tour, since we were the only ones booked for that time slot. The noon tour right after ours was sold out, but the morning tour was just us and Nate! It was a beautiful morning, the weather was perfect, and the scenery was outstanding. I drove the catboat while my son (age 11) held the camera and took pictures. Nate was a terrific host and guide - knowledgeable as well as courteous and friendly. And since we were the only ones booked for that time slot, once the standard tour was done, he left it up to us to decide how we wanted to spend our remaining time. Many people rave about zipping across the open water at top speed, and yes, that's definitely fun. But with me being a hiker, explorer, biologist, and photographer, what I personally loved was seeing the beautfiful scenery along the Crooked River, so Nate allowed us extra time to go explore that area some more, and took us further into it than the tour usually goes. I really appreciated Nate allowing us extra time to explore that area further, and we got a lot of great pictures. Nate also emailed a couple of pictures he took of us during the tour as well. We had plenty of time to explore the remote areas, which made me happy, and we still had plenty of time for zipping across the lakes at top speed, which made my little boy happy. Catboat Escapes gets a lot of good reviews, and I want to add mine to the list. The next time we find ourselves in central Florida, I hope we can do it again.

Great experience. So pleased we took this adventure. Top notch equipment. Staff enjoyed pleasing us. Would do again tomorrow.

The guides were great. They did an excellent job with introductions and an overall explanation of the event. The heated seats were just what we needed for our cool weather day.

The catboats were so much fun to drive. The lakes were beautiful and the Cypress trees were gorgeous . Looks like a movie. So much fun with Grace and Nate. They are excellent guides. You must do this!

What a fun ride, part of it was floating down narrow rivers and part was skimming across beautiful lakes at 30+ mph! Think of it like a two seat jetski with deck chairs and sun roof! The pontoon structure was very sturdy and stable and easy to drive. The guide explained safety rules and narrated the trip with 2 way radios, so we were always in direct contact. It was a great experience. High marks for safety and well run outfit. Well worth checking it out.

We had the best time. Beautiful day, great guides and tons of fun. This was our first toir, but we'll be back.

You have got to do this! My wife & I were over in Orlando from the U.K to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary and saw the Catboat ride advertised so we decided to try it. We're so glad we did as it was excellent! Grace, our instructor/guide did a great job. All the staff were friendly & professional. The boats were surprisingly easy to control. The two hours went past in a flash and the highlight for me was the 'free time' where we got to do our own thing on the lake. Going full speed in the boat was amazing, it felt fast but very safe and stable. One final thing to mention is that the photo's they take of you are emailed to you the same day and are completely free something Gatorland, etc should take note of as they wanted to charge us $14 per photo for the photo's they took of us there. I guarantee you will have the best time so just book it !!

Everything about this was top notch. The history of the area mixed in with some fun throttle time on the water was a perfect blend. We do many vacation excursions and this was my favorite as well as my grandkids.

What an absolute blast! The scenery was spectacular. Guides were great, informative and gave us plenty of free time to go fast!

We still are. taking about what a wonderful time we had on our Cat boat ride! We visited last week and it was the highlight of our vacation, all 4 of us were smiling the entire time, Nate was fantastic! Very knowledgable, funny and entertaining. The water was perect, the boat was thrilling to drive and we all learned some Florida history. Take my advice, go to the CatBoat Escapes, it will forever be part of your Florida memories.

This is an absolute must do while visiting Orlando. We had so much fun! Fantastic tour and tour guide. Boats are phenomenal, beautiful scenery.

My son and I took my sister visiting from Ohio. We had a great time! Beautiful day, hot but comfortable on the water so you hardly noticed the heat. Nate , tour guide very informative and made the tour really enjoyable. Richard following behind keeping an eye on everyone to be sure no problems. Would definitely recommend to everyone for a fun time!!

Great experience. This tour was the highlight of our Clermont trip. Our guides (Richard and Nate) were awesome. They took time to explain the whole process as well as how to drive these boats. Nate provided excellent commentary about various lakes, canals and area during the tour along with some fun trivia :) There were multiple opportunities to test the full power of these boats and go full speed in the lake. The boats were very stable and fun to drive. Overall, a highly recommended fun and thrilling activity.

This was a great trip!! Nate was an awesome guide; knowledgeable and fun. Everything was perfect. Fun for all ages.
