The Cenote Tour with Victor was incredible! The passion and knowledge Victor had for the environment in and around the Cenote made us love it even more. This tour is far from the normal tourist attraction where you are crowded with loads of people and tried to sell upgrades at every turn. Victor was professional and had a great sense of humor throughout the tour. We walked into town from Secrets Akumal and met Victor right on time where he said he would meet. Never felt an inkling of not being safe throughout the whole adventure!

We did this tour with Victor in April 2023 on the last full day of our holiday and loved it. Victor was a fantastic guide. He clearly enjoys his work and finds the cenote fascinating and is a lovely guy to spend an afternoon with. Me and my husband booked a private tour so it was just the two of us and Victor which was amazing. I was a little nervous, but Victor made the experience fun and informative. And we so appreciated how this tour was so close to our hotel (Secrets Akumal) and not at all a tourist trap. You won’t find a gift shop here! It felt like we truly experienced a piece of Mexico and was a highlight of our trip. Thanks Victor!

Went with four friends. Between us we have been to about 30 cenotes throughout the area. I can say this was one of the most unique ones and you should visit it just to experience it and see the difference. Victor was our guide, He was very informative and fun. I would highly recommend it. One note is to bring along swimming shoes to make it easy to walk on the rocks. Also don't forget a tip.

We visited Cenote Santa Cruz on January 5 of 2023 and had an excellent time! The three of us, all adults, took a private tour with Victor , who is a stellar guide. He is knowledgeable and informative. It is very clear that he values the integrity of the ecosystem he is explaining. On top of that, he has a great sense of humour, and had us laughing with him. There are some great surprises, but I won't give that away. Although I had heard that mosquitoes could be annoying, it had been dry for several days in advance of our tour and we had no problem. You should definitely take the tour.

This was a wonderful experience and unlike anything we'd ever seen. Our tour guide, Victor, knows a ton about geology, diving, Mayan history, and environmental science, and wove all of it together to give us a sense of this fascinating ecosystem. We were blown away. You need to be physically able enough to move around and inside and slide under and swim. Water shoes not necessary but maybe recommended.

Fantastic and intimate cenote tour with Victor. He walks you through the caves and explains how they're formed before taking you to the deep part of the cenote to swim through.

Absolutely amazing cenote experience! Have been to other cenotes, but nothing comes close to the authentic underground experience of this tour. Victor is incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to spend an afternoon with.

This was an amazing experience. I was able to book a private tour, so it was just me and a friend, with the tour guide, Victor. Victor was very knowledgeable about the various formations and history. Plus he was a lot of fun to hang out with for a few hours. Highly recommend this tour, which would even be good on a rainy day since most of it is underground.

Wonderful, beautiful tour. Absolutely recommended. Tour guide Victor, was knowledgeable and hilarious. Extremely friendly. He’ll pick you up in his red ford ranger. Lots of swimming including a rope swing in the cave. Could of spent all day swimming down there there. He provided flashlights and goggles. (You’ll be happy you have them)!

We loved our tour with Victor! He is so personable and knowledgeable. He really made the history of denotes come to life and we had a lot of fun exploring the Santa Cruz denote with him. He also gave us a great lunch recommendation for lamb tacos (they were amazing) at a taqueria in the pueblo. We were fortunate enough to be alone on this tour so it felt like we were the only people on earth for a few hours. We would HIGHLY recommend this experience.

Wow the best Victor knows what he is doing and we enjoyed this small private tour of four so so much It took 3 hours and it was safe and informative and fun Victor is so nice and will do about anything you want that won’t hurt the environment If you go to a cenote go on this tour for sure

I was told that the saying, "seen one, seen 'em all" does not apply to this cenote. We are so glad to have received a private tour for two to tour this gem! Victor was a very kind and friendly guide for my 16 year old son and me, and he took the time to explain the significance of this treasure. I am typically not a fan of enclosed spaces, particularly not for more than an hour! But I got over it quickly to experience this wonderful excursion. Must do.

Our tour guide Victor was amazing. We did the private tour and we were the only group in an underground cave. We saw stalagmites and stalactites. The water was beautiful. We had to wade in water, but never higher than about waist to lower chest level. We got to use a rope swing. Even though it was a private tour, it was much cheaper than other tours I looked at. I'm pretty claustrophobic, but the cave is large. I did fine. I highly recommend this tour!
