This is the best tour done in the NT. It felt like a weeks worth of awesome experiences all rolled into one day. Absolutely value for money. We loved every single part of the day and felt totally immersed in the experiences. Jake and his gorgeous kelpie (brown dog) were just amazing and we learnt so much and the day rolled along at a nice pace. Nothing was rushed and we felt really welcome. Enjoyed the cruise in the river system and even fished for some Barra. Loved the time out on the airboat and it was so cool to see crocs in the wild, and even a baby hatchling The croc feeding was insane and Jake is so incredibly brave and taught us so much about their behaviour and stories of how they came to be a rescue. Doing the helicopter ride over the beautiful 600 acre property and the river systems was incredible. Even got to see wild buffalo and pigs. Finished the day with a cooling dip in the pool. This place is the best, all staff so welcoming, great food, cold bevies, Brown dog is so gorgous. Thank you for such an authentic experience and we learned so much. A definite highlight of our trip. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Darwin we had the most amazing day !! I want to express our gratitude to Matt & Jake for the incredible day from start to finish and for sharing their wisdom and enthusiasm for wildlife preservation. The airboat experience, crocs nesting and swimming in the wild to fishing from the pontoon for barramundi, a heli flight over the wetlands where we saw wild pigs and buffalo. Matt and Jake even cooked us a hot breakfast of bacon and egg's. It will be a day we remember and talk about for a long time. I look forward to staying next time at the camp.

Tour did not take place. We were not informed. Instead, we stay sitting on our expenses to go to the pickup point.

Packed awesome activities into the adventure. Staff were excellent, engaging and interested. Could not do enough for you. Great job team! Well worth it! Look forward to doing an overnight stay next visit.

Firstly this isn't a review of the trip as we didn't get to make it! It is however relevant as it is a review of the company's service. Almost 11 months ago we booked online to have a day at the camp, we booked our visit to Australia partly around this trip and included a few days in Darwin. A few days ago I received an email from Top End saying due to a computer "glitch" our booking was cancelled and we could rebook in March, not very helpful as we are coming in January! Despite explaining part of our trip was built around this visit we received no real apology and we were refunded our money and told by Top End "we're sure you understand". Well, I don't! I don't understand why it took 11 months to discover your computer system was accepting bookings (incidentally it was still accepting bookings for our day, on the day you said we couldn't go)! Furthermore, despite my explanation that part of our holiday was built around this, your reply demonstrated that you could not have cared less! I have watched this camp and its activities avidly since its inception and it looks truly incredible, its a shame that it's administration is not at the same level.

Loved this tour! Jake, Chase, Angel and Gaia made this an unforgettable experience. Otis, one of the wild Crocodiles made sure we got a good view of him. While we weren’t able to do the helicopter portion we loved the airboat ride and brunch cruise. Topped off the day with a swim (in a pool). Epic!

An unforgettable experience with a professional company. The pick was from Darwin centre with two guides. The guides are those who tra sport you from town to the location and who take you on the air boat . On the way, you can stop at the bottleshop. People start drinking on the way. When you arrive at the location there is tea coffee and water. Wine is placed in the fridge. The first part is the helicopter. You are weighed. The you walk to the helicopter. It has no doors at the front! But you are strapped in. The 10 minutes is magnificent flying over the flood plains spotting nesting crocs. Then straight off to whizz around the swamps in the airboat. That is a powerful machine handled superbly by the guide. His reactions are fast. We saw crocs up close too. We visited the Croc sanctuary. Those are big. The we relaxed in the pool after a hearty dinner. The food is excellent t. Accommodation comfortable with private outdoor shower. Highly recommend!

Right from pickup we got a vibe that this was going to be an awesome day with the friendly and relaxed nature of our Bus/Tour guide. First activity was the Airboat and man that was epic…the scenery and wildlife was amazing and also plenty of crocs to satisfy all. The level of skill, knowledge topped with pure enthusiasm and passion that was shown by our guide was amazing and a true credit to the company. Next up the cruise and brunch…Well I don’t think Ive had a better BLT to be honest and a nice time to reflect and absorb with others on what we had just done and also learned before hand. Off to the rescued croc pens now and wow these guys and girls don’t mind putting on a show!! There’s some big units in there! Back to the manicured lawns of the campground for a cold one and a dip in the beautiful pool whilst waiting for the chopper ride. Yet again we were blown away with the knowledge and skill of our pilot /tour guide the views over the wetlands were simply amazing. We will never forget this place and I’m sure that we are not the only ones.

The friendly and knowledgeable crew certainly knew the best spots for viewing the crocodiles. They also cooked a great brunch. The feeding of the rescued crocodiles was exciting to watch.

Amazing experience We were a small group only 2 other people but this made it more personal and a better experience Fab time on the air boat - Josh was great very informative and fun experience Helicopter ride was a new experience and was also amazing

Matt's safari camp day tour was the perfect introduction to the Top End. We particularly loved the air boat trip - the highlight of our trip to Darwin without a doubt. Thanks, Matt, Josh & team. It was a really happy and wonderful day.

Six friends and I from country NSW were shown the best time of our NT holiday trip. The breaky was great and very well organised. The water melon was a life saver in the heat and the hot chips were lovely and crunchy. Plenty of drinks supplied and also byo. Helicopter was way up there. The Crocodile experience was very informative. The jet boat was an adrenaline junkies desert. A shame I didn’t catch a Barra but at least I got to try. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A must do for anyone visiting the top end

Where do I start? From all of the tours/experiences we went on while travelling in the NT our group of 3 all thought this was the best experience! Our guide Josh was so knowledgable, experienced and respectful towards the landscape and crocs. We stayed overnight in the glamping tents and enjoyed every minute of the experience and felt at home! Will definitely stay again when we visit the NT again!

We loved our Top End Safari experience from the first second to the last. The air boat was a wonderful way to start and the look on our kids faces said it all. Adrenaline!! Josh was a wonderful host and guide and cooked us a delish brunch once we were on the river cruise. Visiting the crocs for feeding time was fascinating and gave us excellent insight into how these extraordinary animals work and that they are not the fearsome beasts they are made out to be. Robbo took us on our chopper flights and it was a brilliant and picturesque way to end our tour. Couldn’t recommend more highly, facilities were top notch and Josh was a very knowledgeable and welcoming host. We loved it! If West Wyalong was closer we’d be doing it again!! 😜

They treat you like family and they can't do enough to enhance your experience. Would go every day .

I traveled a short distance from Dundee Beach across to the Matt Wrights Camp at Sweets Lagoon where we met up with the tour guide Anton. Anton is a very enjoyable character and knows how to look after people! He is very informative about our day tour and what he showed us was great. Also he cooked us a BBQ Breaky on the way along the Lagoon. On the cruise we fished and we did catch Two Barramundi which was a great bonus. Once we finished the tour Anton introduced us to his offsider who took us on an airboat tour. This offsider bloke’s name was Matt Wright himself!! Matt done a bloody good job as Anton’s offsider and he too knew how to look after the crew. Showing Crocs in the wild along side of catching good side Red Claw crayfish feeding the eagles and a great airboat ride as well. On our return to the Jetty Anton and Matt (tagged along to) took us to the big Croc enclosures where they both told about the Crocs they have there. Anton enticed the Crocs out of the water to show us just how big they are up close. Matt explained how the Crocs become to be there and why which was great to hear about! After this the boys took us back to camp and got us on a Helicopter tour of the property!👍👍 Overall the tour was a ten out of ten experience and would do it again. My Thanks again to Anton and his offsider Matt for the great experience they shared with us!!
