What a great way to spend an evening! A wonderful selection of food to choose from and then cook a 5 course dinner. Oun was a great instructor and showed us a lot about the ingredients at the market. As we arrived at his home to prepare our food, we really enjoyed his good sense of humor and his passion for teaching about Thai cooking. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone who wants to learn about Thai cooking and have some great fun doing so!

Oun was a great teacher and very fun! We learned about the ingredients through the tour of the market and then prepared a wonderful 5 course meal. It was great to be able to choose different foods for each course and sample what the other person created. Lots of fun and a great time.

Just as the description says. Oun and Kate are making their dinner and you get to as well. Travel through the market as Oun describes the sights sounds and smells of the market while you collect your ingredients just like real Thai people. Then off to their house to make dinner (real food that you bought). Don’t worry about getting enough, you cook a course and then eat again and again and again. I’m glad there are so many dishes, now I can book again and try something else. Thank you Oun and Kate for such a memorable experience, a real Thai experience.

This was our first cooking class ever, and I loved it!! It's reasonably priced (and competitively) you learn and eat 5 dishes! (Be sure to be hungry 😅) It overly exceeded my expectations (which were really high to start with!) Oun and Kae are such a lovely and competent people! It was fun, with good amount of pause between dishes! And everything tasted like in the restaurant, so it definitely seems you are learning the proper way. The market visit was also nice, having a fast and quick explanation of all ingredients we are going to cook, and then have some free time to roam was greet!

Oun and Kae gave us the most amazing cookery experience in their lovely home. They created a fun environment where we could get to know everyone else at the class and the food was so incredible! We went as a pair and met three others and we were all given the same amount of time with our teacher to learn what to do! They also took us to the local market where we got a lesson on what to look out for when picking the best and freshest ingredients! Truly amazing hosts and we wouldn’t choose anyone else for a Thai cooking lesson in Chiang Mai! Thank you!

From the time My son and I was picked up from my hotel, I knew I was in for a great adventure! Our first stop was the market. Oun showed us fruits and vegetables we have never seen before. He gave us time to explore the market in our own. Big mistake because I could not resist the food that was also being cooked there lol. So once we reached the class, I was elated to began my first course meal. We were seated with water and fresh fruit and then the experience began. Although I didn’t eat 100% of all 5 courses I thoroughly enjoyed the bites I was able to take in. Oun jokingly said I can tell you didnt enjoy the mango and sticky rice, but truth is I was stuff with the delicious food I cooked and ate! I would do this experience again! It was fun and educational!

Our cooking chief Oun was very funny and dynamic He explains what we can find and buy on a local market and then it was a great pleasure to cook with him and hiw wife And the results were so delicious 😋 !

Had so much fun learning Thai cooking. He had a sense of humor and was knowledgeable about many local produce. He was kind and made sure everyone was enjoying themselves. Would recommend for adults wanting to try something new!

This was a great way to spend an evening in Chiang Mai. We learned lots about different Thai foods and spices. It was fun to get in the kitchen and get chopping and stir frying under the guidance of our host and his wife who were very gracious and funny. We enjoyed the different courses and the conversation with other participants from different corners of the globe. By the end of the evening our bellies were full and we had great memories to take home with us.

I highly recommend this cooking class! The hosts were super sweet and funny, the food was very tasty and overall it was a great experience.

We had an amazing day at the cooking school led by Oun who was such a happy and supportive guy. He gave us so much information at the market at the start of the trip. The cooking school was well set up with great facilities and the quality of ingredients was excellent. Oun was not only very clear in his instructions he was also a lot of fun and his support team were also very helpful. We had a fantastic half day and would definitely recommend this to anyone thinking about a Thai cooking lesson.

Incredible cooking class. We were picked up at the hostel and we visited a marked before the class. Oun is very nice and super funny. He knows what everybody wanted to make (you can choose yourself) and is super flexible with vegetarian. It is obvious that he loves to give the cooking class and he knows words in many different languages. His English is super good too! The food was amazing. 10/10

Everything about the class was perfect. Food was plentiful, delicious and the space for cooking and dining were ideal. Instructor had a great sense of humor . Highly recommend.

My friend and I really enjoyed this cooking class. Our teacher, Ew-an, made sure everyone had a good time. And his fun sense of humor kept things light. Everything was so well organized. Booking and pick up were smooth. A nice trip to a local market. The food prep and cooking areas were well laid out. Meal ingredients were fresh. It was nice to be able pick out in advance meals that we wanted to prepare. And everything tasted delicious. I'll be using his recipes at home for sure. I would highly recommend.

Amazing experience! Would recommend to anyone in Chiang Mai. Very knowledgeable and injected comedy into it. A true Thai family experience.

Brilliant time and really good fun . The instructors are all friendly and helpful. You can choose your dishes to cook from a list and they will change ingredients if you are vegetarian

Eun was a great teacher, it was an amazing experience from the market to the actual cooking. Great choice of dishes to choose from and lots of information on how you can change the recipes depending on your preferences.
