A great combination of food and culture. Bruno was a great guide and the details about the area along with a little break now and then for food and drink made for the perfect variety of experience. Suitable for both adults and kids. Highly recommend.

Our guide met us at the ship.... BUT, he forgot some sort of flag so we could follow him. He also forgot to bring any "Whisper" devices so we could hear if not right next to him. It was hard to follow along with the size of our group. We went to 3 places but #2 place said they had no idea we were coming and would not take us. We had to walk somewhere else to find a place to take our size group. Just seemed not too well planned out.

Wasn’t able to do this activity due to a change in start time by operator. This was not notified to me, so I arrived a meeting point to find that the tour had started 1 1/2 hours before. Poor communication from the provider. I strongly suggest touring with someone else.

Excellent tour, very informative. Really brought the city to live for us. Gave us good tips on where to go for a alocal coffee afterwards.

Our your guide spoke English badly and eas hard to understand. He used no technical equipment ( i.e. earphones ) and the noise around us in the city caused a problem. All in all we did not learn much about heritage and culture. The timing was bad, since we arrived at two Tapas bars, where our seats wer already taken by ship’s tours. The food was average ( one croquette on a plastic plate seemed poor to me!) , the drink choices nice and individual.

If you enjoy history and stopping every 3 minutes and standing constantly, then this is the tour for you. I was expecting a group of about 6 people (and this group was around 20.) to walk to a restaurant, sit and try food and on to the next place. This was feeling like a history walking tour so after 30 minutes we left the group and went off on our own.

First off, Cartagena is a beautiful city, and our guide had lots of info and stories about the area and its history. We thought the tapas choices were very good. The food was yummy. It was just the right amount of time to get a good feel of the city.

Excellent guide but she needed a microphone of some sort because at times it was very hard to hear. Tapas was good and the guide

Loved our guide Almo (sp?). She was fantastic and very knowledgable. Didn’t care for the food. But the sangria was tasty!

We're supposed to go on Wednesday but having met Maria that day we changed to the Thursday to go with another 4 people. Glad we did as Bruno give a very interesting informative and a times humorous account of the history of Cartagena. We had 3 tapas with 3 different drinks all enjoyable. The 4 other people were from Sweden who added more interest to the walk, especially the lady who's name began with a C . Sorry I can't remember and apologies for not saying goodbye properly to you all and the Swedish chef. A good way to spend 3 hours we recommend it.

Carmelo, our tour guide was wonderful. This was a small group where we had 3 very good small tastings. Our favorite was at a little Roman room where we tried Roman wine like it was made from the original recipe.

Bruno was a very good guide. He took us to very interesting places and gave us very good explanations. The tapas stops were fun. A fun way to explore and enjoy Cartagena. Bruno told us how to access the Roman theatre ( you go underground via a museum of Roman items) and this was an amazing experience.

The only issue (and it was not the tour's fault) was that we were at a sidewalk cafe and it started to rain. There were umbrellas that did not cover all the folks on the tour, so some got really wet. The tour itself was great! Highly recommend.

Great tour. Melo was very very knowledgeable. The tapas stops are a nice touch. Drinks included. If I’m Cartagena I’d do it again.

We did this 3 tapas tour instead of the Roman museum tour because on Mondays the museums are closed. We were disappointed at first thinking we would miss information about the influence of the Romans. How wrong we were. We had Bruno Moreno our excellent guide take us to the Roman excavations in Cartagena plus stop at three very interesting bars/restaurants. His food and drink recommendations were fabulous as were the stories and history he provided about each spot. Such a charming city!! We had trouble finding parking and more trouble paying for it that made us almost 20 minutes late. Bruno waited for us and was so gracious. Thank you so much Bruno. An excellent day for these Canadians!!
