We had a blast, our driver was so fun, knowledgeable and funny. We saw some of the most incredible sights and experienced the monasteries from afar and from within, roamed the site at Delphi and enjoyed the museum. All in all it was a five star experience.

This tour is a must do if you are visiting Greece. All 3 sights are very rich in history and have unforgettable views. The duration of this tour is very lengthy, so be mentally and physically prepared if you decide to book this tour. We rode in a very comfortable Mercedes sedan which made the long drives pleasant. Our driver, George Ilios was so friendly and easy to talk to. He is very knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him as your driver. The included dinner at the end of the day was very delicious. I give this tour a 5 star rating.

The places you get to see are memorable and Dimos made it possible all in one day. I talked to other tour guides before booking this particular experience, and they refused to do all 3 places in one day. It is a long day, but it’s so worth it. The best value for the money. And with Dimos as a tour guide, you get to learn the history and the stories behind them. Meteora is magical. Delphi is beautiful and Thermopylae is majestic. I just want to mention that Dimos became my contact person for any transfer/taxi I need while in Athens.

The tour allowed us to see two must-see sites-- Meteora and Delphi--in one day (albiet a long day). Dallas, our driver, was very knowledgable and took great care of us. The meal at the end was very good and Dallas made sure the vegetarians in our group had lots of options. I highly recommend this tour!

Our guided tour of the iconic Greek sites of Delphi, Meteora, and Thermopylae was nothing short of amazing, thanks to a well-orchestrated experience. This car journey wasn’t just about getting from Point A to Point B; it was a deep dive into Greece’s rich history. Dimos, our primary driver and guide, was a ball of fun and energy and very knowledgeable about Greek history, especially the places we visited. His passion for escorting us to these incredible sites really showed through and made the very long day a complete delight. Manos, a guide-in-training shadowing Dimos for the day, accompanied us and positively contributed to the adventure. The day kicked off at 6a on a high note with a brief stop at a street café to pick up some delicious Greek pastries (both savory and sweet) for the road. Dimos’ storytelling made the long drives feel like short, exciting hops between epochs. His insights into the historical significance of the places we visited turned our journey into an animated, live documentary, where every ruin and vista came vividly to life. Manos, working in tandem with Dimos, ensured our comfort and enjoyment throughout, making the whole experience feel more like a road trip with friends. The tour was thoughtfully paced, with plenty of bathroom breaks and selfie ops against breathtaking landscapes. Opting to explore the ruins at Delphi rather than the museum allowed us more freedom to immerse ourselves in the ancient world. Although many places took credit cards/tap-to-pay, we wish we’d brought more cash instead to contribute more to the local communities. If you like local goodies, there’s the nicest farmer selling sweets, where we stopped briefly at the hot springs in Thermopylae before visiting the historical site. Although our primary interest was initially Thermopylae, Meteora turned out to be an unexpected gem because of its incredible views. The actual battle site of Thermopylae was simple but gave us goosebumps by connecting us to the past in a very real way. The entire excursion was memorable from start to finish - there was not one dull moment! We really appreciate Dimos’ and Manos’ genuineness in making it so memorable. They took care of the most minute details, allowing us to enjoy our time and fully engage with the history and beauty around us. Our finale was a feast at the local Greek restaurant run by the travel agency owner’s retired dad. He was the sweetest of hosts and made us feel so welcome. We plan to return to Greece for an extended stay and would definitely engage their hospitality again. For anyone eager to explore Greece’s historical sites in-depth, this tour offers the perfect mix of information, relaxation, and authentic connections to the places, their stories, and people.

George in the yellow car, was absolutely wonderful. He was knowledgeable and informative and made the long drive fun the whole time. We spent 15 hours with him and we was patient with us all day.

Fantastic tour!! Sebastian was an awesome tour guide and historian. If you’re coming to Athens, this is a MUST! The ability to see so many things in one day and be able to customize the experiences to your preferences made this worth every penny. Helpful hint…save room for dinner because it was delicious and amazing and never ending.

The tour was excellent. We desired to see all three locations, and this tour managed to fit it all in, in just one day. George was extremely helpful in introducing the locations and keeping us on schedule. The dinner afterwards was very good. All sites are worth seeing, in particular Delphi and Meteora. Despite doing all the driving, George was positive and upbeat all day. The tour was easy and comfortable. Our party of four opted for the van instead of the car.

Meteora Monasteries. These were amazing and we also enjoyed Delphi. The last stop at Thermopylae, although interesting could be left out and then perhaps the drive need not be at such excessive speed. Dinner at the local restaurant was fantastic.

We went on a tour with of Meteora, Thermopolis, and Delphi and it exceeded our expectations. Sebastian was very thoughtful from the moment he picked up at 6am. He had a car fully stocked with water, cold drinks on ice, and snacks. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites. He made sure we were happy with each stop before moving on. We learned so much for him and it was a very memorable day. I was also dealing with motion sickness and Sebastian had tablets and made sure that I was okay throughout the duration of the trip. We would highly reccomend this tour to anyone. It’s a great way to see all three sites in one day. Thank you Sebastian for a memorable day we won’t forget for a lifetime.

Our tour guide, John did an excellent job. He was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly, and made a 14 hour day go by very quickly. My wife and I would recommend John and his travel company to anyone wanting to experience this tour and the rich history and beauty of Meteora, Delphi and Thermopolis.

Achilleas was a wonderful person, safe driver, and a very patient tour guide. The tour was great - he showed up at correct time - made all possible of arrangements and adjustments to accommodate us and kept our request. It was a long day - but we did not feel bored or tired. Meteora was great - amazing view - and great selection of monasteries to visit. Thermophiles has a great history and a potential to be developed to a great attraction - we may have skipped it. Delphi and Oracle are amazing as ever. The seafood dinner at the end was over the top - the service was quick, the food was excellent. At the end of the tour Achilleas presented a statue of Athena - a great gesture from Achilleas and Theodores Travel!!! Thanks to Achilleas and Theodores Travel! Best trip ever!!!
