The best full day activity to do if you’re in La Paz! We did our trip with Cristian and Alvaro and they were great, really friendly and made sure we were all okay at each break. Also provided us with full gear and comfortable bikes. The lunch was delicious and also had a pool which was great to cool down! Great way to meet other travellers too!

Our guides Remy and Fernanda were so wonderful. I was nervous about the ride but we had lots of opportunity to get comfortable on the bikes. Remy explained the ride so well for each section and I felt confident before setting off after every break. He was also just such a lovely energy all day, checking in to make sure everyone was having a good ride. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic day with Remy and Fernanda. As guides they were amazing, Remy was a truly fantastic guy who helped us have so much fun and brave this crazy excursion. Safety and experience were top priorities. At all times we felt we were guided safely along the road. They also took loads of great photos and fed us treats at every corner! There was loads of food and water. The bikes were incredible. They made sure we felt safe and secure by always offering us whatever we needed. It was one of the best experiences we have had on a tour. Thank you Remy, Fernanda and our brilliant driver for keeping us happy and safe.

One of the best things I’ve done travelling, such a fun experience and the team were super lovely and supportive. My bike’s chain came off a few times but the staff were happy to help

Great day! Well organized from start to end. The guides Chelo and Sdenka were great, everybody got down in one piece even though we did go fast! High quality bikes and nice lunch after the ride. Definitely recommended!

I would highly recommend the barracuda tour guide to anyone who is looking to do the death road tour. CHELLO, FERNANDA AND JOSE were exceptional throughout the trip and I am so glad I had these as our tour guides. At first I was anxious in doing the tour but the guides gave great instructions at the start which really helped and they were so helpful when I had any questions. They stopped at points throughout the tour which was very helpful . I would highly recommend this tour to anyone and it is worth every penny. Neil

Remy and Rubén were excellent tour guides for the day. Great vibes, could not recommend these two enough. They guided our group so well, from making sure we all were comfortable with our bikes, to cracking jokes, leading us safely through the road, they made the whole experience and kept us all so motivated. I had an amazing experience with Barracuda Biking: tough but rewarding, and the swimming pool at the end was a welcome treat. But most of all: felt very safe with the excellent guides Cristian and Rubén!

An amazing experience with Barracuda!! 100% recommend. The guides are awesome, and the tour is well organised. While I’m 28, I learned how to ride a bike less than a year ago. I told my guide Chelo at the start of the tour that I was very anxious and not confident and honestly, my experience would have been totally different without him. He made sure I was okay at all times, stayed with me at the back for 1/3 of the tour to make sure I was comfortable, gave me tips and he kept reassuring me and encouraging me throughout the whole tour at every chance he had. I honestly don’t know how I would have finished the tour without him, he was really supportive and patient. And, he took lots of pictures and videos of me on the bike so I can show my family I actually did it!! The tour itself is great, the bikes are super safe and in very good condition. We were also given water, snacks and lunch, and a t shirt at the end as souvenir. Everyone in our group had an amazing time!!

The best day with Remy and Luis as guides. They were funny, great with their explanations of what's to come and made the whole day safe and fun, exactly what I went for. Plus the scenery is stunning and the cycling an adrenaline rush

Amazing day and experience. The team (Cristian, Omar and Miguel) were absolute amazing! They were patient, encouraging and hilarious. The bikes were really good quality and the price was one of the more affordable. Would recommend this tour company to everyone!

Great tour, felt very safe, good instructions and safety pointers given by Remy throughout the day. Any mechanical issues with the bikes in the group were fixed really quickly and spare bike was provided. Really enjoyed!

Had an amazing day out with Barracuda Biking, one of the top ten best experiences of my life!! I was very nervous and apprehensive about doing Death Road at first, however I was so glad we went with this tour group as their focus on safety is paramount. The mountain bikes were full suspension (really important for this trail) and in great condition, really comfortable to ride. Our guides Remy and Luis were absolutely amazing, they made us feel so safe throughout the day with their expertise, guidance and great vibes! We were encouraged to go at our own pace and if you even wanted to skip a section of the trail that was absolutely no problem either. Couldn’t recommend Barracuda Biking enough!
