It was the best way to get an idea about SF and how to get around the city, the tour was informative and we saw lots of places and streets.

Great fun, bikes were fantastic, Nick was a great guide, really helpful and professional. Routes taken were well selected and manageable for all abilities.

I have been on many bike/e-bike tours in different countries, and have to say this was one of the best! I called the day of the tour for the two of us, but because there were no other bookings, we almost didn't get to go--however, as soon as Nick had a booking for another family, he contacted me to let me know my friend and I were good to go! The 3.5 hour tour was more like 4 hours, and we covered a lot of sights and trails that we wouldn't have been aware of but for this tour. Nick is an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide. At no time did we feel that he was promoting stops (as can often be the case with tours that become more like marketing stops). His knowledge of the City's history and notable sites was informative--places we would not have seen but for this tour. The e-bikes are in great condition, easy to ride and comfortable. The stroke of genius is the inclusion of earphones that connected us to Nick's description of sights, places, notable buildings, etc., as we were riding, as opposed to having to pull over and listen to the highlights. The tour was very safe (Nick has an uncanny ability to stop traffic, I am sure!), and Nick was conscious of our safety at all times. Forget the other tours in San Fran---make this a must-do on your visit!

This tour and e-bike experience was by far one of the best things I’ve done in San Francisco EVER - in the many years I’ve lived in the city and in the many times I’ve visited as a tourist. Nick was the perfect guide! He shared lots of great info and history and tips. The pace was perfect. The bikes were wonderful and the head sets amazing to be able to hear him throughout. My teen kids usually hate tours so we were originally thinking about just renting e-bikes and adventuring on our own BUT I’m so so glad we found dandyhorse and nick and went on the tour with him. Worth every penny to be led and learn so much. Even my teen kids loved it. Overall highly recommend.

I booked this tour as a private tour for 11 people and I can say that it was 100% the highlight of my visit to SF! The bikes are so cool and the earpiece meant that we could get updates from our wonderful guide Nick as we were cycling around the amazing neighbourhoods of SF. Nick kept us very safe, most of the tour was done on quiet roads or cycle paths and we even made it out on to the Golden Gate Bridge. We stopped for a sweet treat and coffee along the way too which was super cool. This tour around the neighbourhoods of SF was great fun! Thanks again Nick!

The best way to some of the coolest parts of San Francisco including the famous Golden Gate Bridge. Nick, tour guide has an amazing knowledge of SF and great pumped up personality. Bikes and audio gear for the tour commentary were first class.

Nick had great bikes and helmets and each rider was given an ear piece to hear everything he said as we rode. He is so knowledgeable and passionate about San Francisco. He also gave good instructions on how to ride an e bike ( we were first timers) and when to power up or down and all about the intersections and corners. He was willing to take pics and knew all the good photo spots and angles. It was a fantastic experience.

Nick is very knowledgeable, and the tour is packed with content. The bike route near Golden Gate Bridge is great, and I recommend booking the tour when the weather is good so that it doesn't interfere with the experience. The e-bikes are bulky but muscular. The tour involves multiple hills, so the powerful motors are convenient. The wide tires are essential for certain gravel roads. However, the weight takes some getting used to for non-electric bike riders.

We really loved this bike tour - don't miss it! Nick was a fantastic and knowlegable guide, taking us all over SF and giving us great information about the history and present day of the city. Even after having been to SF many times, we learned so much and had a wonderful new experience. The earpieces made it so we could ride and hear his descriptions of what we were seeing and his funny comments as we rode. We especially loved riding through Golden Gate Park where there were no cars and the setting is incredibly beautiful. We've been on a lot of bike tours of many cities and this was definitely one of the best tours we've ever had!

Nick, our guide for the e-bike tour was absolutely fantastic. The e-bikes were easy to use and very comfortable. Nick had vast stores of knowledge about every part of our tour. He is incredibly kind and patient and generous. He actually bought everybody on our tour donuts from his favorite bakery! Most importantly, he provided battery-operated earphones so that everybody could clearly hear everything he said. I would rate Nick and this tour with 10 stars on a 5 star scale!!

This is a fantastic bike tour and your guide is amazing. The views are outstanding and he does a phenomenal job explaining the history of SFO. The key highlights for me was that I could enjoy amazing views, extremely knowledgeable and personable guide, riding on the golden gate, visiting the painted ladies, the story Golden Gate Park that was built on sand dunes and much more. Don't miss this tour if you are in SFO!

Nick was an awesome guide--and this was a fantastic way to see a lot of San Francisco in an afternoon. And if you've never been on an e-bike before (I hadn't): you need to be comfortable on a bike, but you don't need to be in super good shape to keep up. I was worried about whether the hills would be too hard for me, but the e-bikes made it a breeze! The headsets made it easy to hear Nick as we went and made me less anxious about keeping up. Definitely one of my favorite parts of our visit to the Bay Area.

My bestie and I decided to take a girls trip to San Francisco. This tour was the only activity we booked in advance and I am so glad I did! The tour guide Nick was amazing and funny. It really gave us such enjoyment to take the city in on the bikes. There were plenty of stops and photo opportunities. The e-bikes were a model I had been eyeballing for purchase. It was great to spend some hours on one to try it out. (I ordered one this morning!) The San Francisco hills would be rather daunting if not for the capabilities of the bikes. It was so much fun, I would do it a million times over. Nick also was very helpful to give recommendations of other great activities. We ended up traveling north and finding The Lost Coast and the amazing forests up there. We spent 2 nights at the Black Sands Inn in Shelter Cove. Northern California is beautiful. Thank you Nick!

Nick was awesome! We had so much fun on this Ebike tour. We've been to San Francisco several times and we got to see things we haven't seen before. So incredible to ride on the Golden Gate bridge (the tour does not go all the way across - about 1/2 way stopped for photos and then turned around). The wireless headset made the trip SO much more enjoyable since you could hear everything the guide was sharing no matter where you were in the group. Stopped at an amazing local donut shop as a fun treat. Go do this tour - you won't be disappointed.

Nick was a fantastic guide. The E-bikes were great and allowed us to cover a lot of ground, the entire family rated this as our best San Fran experience. He went out of his way to provide us with an amazing tour through San Francisco, and also provided a list of other recommendations (food, and sights) as well. Some wonderful personal touches were provided for lunch and coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed this. Nick’s Chinatown dinner recommendation for Christmas Day was fantastic as well !!
