It was just an amazing experience. I surfed at first and felt quite nervous, but these guys made me feel confident and I managed to catch a wave and surf!!! They’re just fantastic, really enjoyed that. Highly recommend of you wanna experience something new!

My friend had never been surfing and I am an experienced surfer. (Hard boards are available.) The water is cold (shockingly) so be prepared to wear a full suit. Leo was a great instructor! Super friendly and my friend was able to get up on her first wave! It was nice to get out of the city for the day and see the beach. I would highly recommend.

So much fun!! We were surfing beginners (as was most of the group) and the instructors were great to learn from. This was one of the highlights of our entire Europe trip, such a cool way to experience a little bit outside of Lisbon. They also have a photographer taking pictures which you can purchase for 15 euros pp if you want!

Had a 2 hr surf lesson booked for me as part of a holiday in Lisbon and loved it! Communication was good and transport was arranged to and from the beach/Lisbon which was really useful. All the staff were super friendly and the instructors were great. They also take really good photos you can buy- they managed to catch me successfully (and briefly!) standing! My only tip would be that the minibus goes back to lisbon pretty quickly once the class is finished so If I did this again I might see if I could arrange my own transport back in order to spend a bit more time on the beach or at the nearby beach club as it's a really nice beach.

I wholeheartedly recommend doing it. You can see how much the instructors and staff love their job, the atmosphere is amazing and immediately puts you at ease. When we were riding even the other instructors and photographers were cheering us on!! Leo was an amazing instructor, available and patient and made sure we had fun throughout the whole experience. He was clear in his explanation and all his tips made us ride plenty of waves (unexpectedly since we were absolute beginners). The transfer service from Lisbon makes it all even better. PS: adequate for every age, my dad is 60 and even he learnt thanks to them!! They were really amazing teachers.

We had a surf session on a very windy kinda rainy day. Our instructors George and Leo handled it very professionally and made it absolutely enjoyable even though we were beginners. Most of us could stand up with/without help on our boards after half an hour. Best price as well because they pick you up in Lisbon and take you to the shore and back and you have 2-2,5 hours to surf.

It was a great experience! Super easy pick up and drop off from Lisbon. I went by myself and made friends and definitely am happy I got to do this! Pro tip, pack a towel, some water, extra set of clothes and sunscreen :)

This was my favorite thing I did in Portugal. All the instructors were so nice and helpful! They split us into small groups so we all got a lot of individual help. I wasn't expecting to stand up at all and my instructor had me catching my own waves and riding them to the beach in no time! Very solo traveler friendly as well!
