Fantastic tour. Highly recommend. Went to four amazing restaurants and had wonderful food. Pace was very good. Our tour guide. Deborah was one of the best guides we’ve ever had on any tour. She was knowledgeable, personable, engaging and funny. As we ate the different dishes, we were able to learn about their authentic Italian cuisine and history. Found some new favorite restaurants. Our group was a lot of fun and we made some new friends. Come hungry.

Loved this tour! Delicious food, more wine than you can drink. Fran, our guide, was so knowledgeable and her commentary and teaching about the ingredients and customs just made the experience that much more enjoyable! We started at Trapizzino which had white wine and delicious pizza-pocket like food called trapizzino! The next stop included red wine and the most delicious meat and cheese board I’ve ever had. All locally sourced, and Fran explained each bite to us. The truffle infused cheeses/spreads were particularly good! Third stop was pasta and pizza with red and white wines. I had a carbonara so tasty I almost cried. Hands down some of the best pasta I’ve had. Finished the tour off with what else but gelato! Highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys good food and good wine!

We had a very good time on the tour, in large part due to our guide’s professional and organized approach to managing the entire event, and skill in describing the food and Italian culture behind the chosen options. Carson interacted well with our large group, all were friendly and interested in the information presented. The food and wine variety, quantities, and quality were all impressive. At each stop a table was pre set for us and we felt very welcome and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

Ottavia was a great host!! We had an absolute blast!! We made so many new friends from all over the world! The food and the wine were amazing!! I don't drink much so there was really great options for that as well. But, my husband loved the wine!!

Alice was a wonderful guide! We really enjoyed all the stops - and the bruschetta with the white truffle cream was outstanding. Come hungry - we were absolutely stuffed.

This tour is perfect for anyone who loves great food and wines. Our host, Celeste, was incredibly amazing. We learned so much about the history of the Trastevere neighborhood, the various regions of all of Italy and the foods that they produce, including the meats, cheeses, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, and wines. Celeste’s vibrant personality, combined with her extensive knowledge, and her exquisitely articulate delivery was by far the highlight of our evening. She made it fun for everyone, and helped ensure that we all got to know each other. The selection of restaurants was excellent, and the highlight food by far was at Trapazzino. You’ll definitely leave stuffed after all of the stops! At the end of the evening Celeste even made sure that everyone was safely on their way to their hotels.

The food was delicious. I enjoyed learning about food that I had never eaten before. Stefania was an excellent tour guide with a lot of knowledge about the food and neighborhood. I thought I couldn't eat another bite, but somehow, there was room for Gelato. Highly recommended.

Our guide , Carson was excellent. Was great to be able to understand fully what he was describing. He was attentive at all times and made sure our needs were met. Each food stop had excellent food and wine pairing. All food was wonderful.

We booked this tour after watching a YouTube video. We could not have been more impressed or had more fun. Celeste was our tour guide and she was amazing! She was extremely knowledgeable, outgoing, and engaging.

This was one of our favourite tours of our trip! Trastevere is such a fun neighborhood and the food is amazing. Our guide Celeste (sorry if I spelled it wrong), was so friendly and knowledgeable. We would go again in a heartbeat! I loved that we actually got to sit down at restaurants.

Booked the tour based on previous reviews and it did not disappoint. Plenty of free-flowing quality wine and excellent food across four different venues. We were also fortunate to have an excellent guide in Alice and a lovely group. Highly recommend this for anyone visiting Rome !!!

Alice was great, company was great, best portions of food and wine on any tour like this that we have done. My only suggestion is to pick another spot for pasta. The location where we are carbonara and cacio e pepe clearly added cream to both dishes which as major foodies we know is not authentic. However, the food all around and choices of locations was phenomenal and as mentioned portions huge.

This was amazing tour. Fran was terrific in describing all the foods we sampled and the wines paired with them. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wishing to sample authentically made Roman foods. The places we stopped were friendly and the portions were very generous. They tell you to come hungry and they really mean it. From eggplant to pizza to gelato and everything in between, it was all delicious. If you can, ask to be on Fran’s tour…you won’t be disappointed.
