Marina was an awesome guide, and we learned so much about Sydney and Australia history. I highly recommend!

Pinno is the best tour guide! He is so knowledgeable about the area and had us in stitches with his jokes. We had a great time and wish we could continue drinking and talking with Pinno at the end of the tour. At the end of the tour, he gave us dinner recommendations and pointed us in the right direction. You are lucky to have Pinno as your guide around The Rocks!

Marina took us around and did an excellent job explaining the history of the rocks as well as the different pubs and drinks on offer. Highly recommend. Chilled and informative

The pubs were great with a variety of beers available, but the best part was our guide - Robin. She had extensive knowledge of the pubs, beer and history that made it a great experience. If you like beer and history, it's the tour for you.

We had a great time touring The Rocks with Tonya. She was super informative, and very fun. We learned a lot and had a great time.

My wife and I signed up and it turned out to be fantastic! It was a fairly large group (15) but half of them were traveling together and it made it even more fun. Dave our guide was excellent and energetic and so full of facts and tidbits it was unbelievably a blast! We took the 6:30 pm tour, which I recommended because you make a night of it, but beware you need to show up at 5:30 pm at a pub a couple blocks away from the tour’s starting point to get your included dinner. We figured that out at the last minute and got there at 5:45 and we had plenty of time to get to the tour starting place. I do recommend eating dinner prior to the tour because there is no food on the tour itself, just great beer, wine, and lots of fascinating stories about the history of the Rocks neighborhood.

This was by far the best way to start my trip to Sydney great way to learn the rich history of the area and country while having a great time enjoying the local beer since. Pinno was a great guide and host for the experience fun, funny, and insightful. He made everyone feel like we were old friends quickly, I would take the tour agin just to have another beer with him. Was a great time and well worth the money.

Fantastic evening of beers, cheers, laughter and a wee bit of Rocks history along the way. Our tour guide was amazing Dave P kept us all in stitches , and amazing host. You can tell he loves what he does and share his wealth of knowledge of the area, the pubs, and has the best memory of a tour guide I’ve seen in a very long time. Even when we ran a but over our time he walked us back to the checkpoint so we could order our dinner that we opted to do after the tour. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who what’s to know the history of how Sydney became, a dinner and 5 drinks. ( beers, wine and cider options) The dinner was great too at the Old Australian inn. 10/10.

We found the tour guide, Pinno, knowledgeable and friendly. He was able to relate a lot of the group to his stories to personalise the journey. Some great historical facts and interesting stories.

Dave was a great host/guide. Related many anecdotes about the founding of Sydney, slang of Sydney and of course the beers of Sydney. We visited some of the oldest pubs there and learned alot about the Rocks. Well worth it.

Robin was an enjoyable guide. She knows her bar history! I highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants to understand what this area went thru just for a few beers! Cheers!

Dave was a great guide/host. He provided an entertaining insight into the story of Australia, and it’s founding in Sydney. Plus there was beer. The stories were entertaining and educational. Would definitely recommend.

Fun and informative, this walking tour visits historic pubs in the Rocks area of Sydney. The tour includes beer/wine/non-alcoholic drink at each pub, and history about each pub in addition to historical and current policies surrounding pubs, for example why Australian pubs do not have seating at the bar. Our tour guide was Robin, who was informative and funny, very knowledgeable.

Gregg did a great job keeping us informed about City and brewing history. And having a few different choices of beer at each stop was nice. I will do this again one day. Good job Gregg!!! Dave’s is the Walking Tour company to use.

Dave (Greg) was a fantastic guide. He was so energetic and had us laughing all the time. Greg's knowledge and passion regarding the different pubs, beer, and Sydney sights were great. It's definitely a good do in Sydney!

This was a great tour! The historical knowledge of our tour guide made it even better. Love the fact that the people of Sydney embrace the history of their county. Sitting in the pubs drinking a beer brought you back in time.

This is a great way to learn about the history of Sydney while having fun. We had a great afternoon learning about the Rocks and the pub culture of Sydney. 10/10 would do again!

Craig was a good guide and friendly and engaging. He had a lot of tales of Sydney history, pub history and just in general. The beer was good - in each pub we could select ale, lager, dark, etc. It was served in half pints. We unfortunately had to leave after the 3rd pub as it was running a little long and we had to be somewhere else. Would recommend. Note that there are uneven sidewalks and steps. We selected this as an alternative to a cruise excursion and we’re glad we did!
