Our guide Mirko was excellent. The itinerary he planned worked very well for us. We particularly enjoyed our stop at the smoke house and restaurant in Njeguši for a snack of prosciutto and cheese. The walking tour of the old town was fascinating. Mirko was very knowledgeable about Montenegrin history and politics.

Our tour started with a hotel pickup and our guide Mirko provided a great service. He was full of information and told us all about the history of the area. He took us to try a local dish in Cetinje which was meat in a filo pastry with a yoghurt which was delicious. We also saw the royal family birthplace and went inside a monestry. Mirko then took on on the windy roads up in the mountains to see great views before decending down to Kotor. The buses coming up could not get past the many cars going the other way and Mirko helped get the traffic moving. It was a great day out and Mirko was a brilliant tour guide making an enjoyable experience.

We had such an amazing day with Mirko, who created an amazing itinerary for my family - a group of 8 that included people from 14 to 80 years old. Flexible and personable, he did a great job explaining Montenegro's complicated history to us and took us to some of the most breathtaking sites that we have ever seen. He also allowed us to change our itinerary on the fly, swapping out one stop for a long, leisurely traditional Montenegrin lunch that was easily the best meal of our trip. His finest moment, however, came when we were driving down 25 Serpentine and there were two buses blocking traffic causing a huge traffic jam. We were worried we would not be able to make back to our ship on time, but Mirko literally got out of the van, walked down the mountain a bit and helped direct traffic to get us moving again. All while making back up plans to ensure we'd get to the ship on time. He was amazing. It was a day we will never forget. Cannot recommend this tour company - or Mirko - enough!

I had an awesome day with Shakov and the 360 Company in Kotor. He was so knowledgeable about everything in Montenegro. I appreciated learning about the environment, history and politics. The trip to Lovčen and the boat ride were the highlights. I even got to swim!! The traditional breakfast and lunch were superb. If you’re short on time and you want to see more than Kotor, this day trip is for you!

Our tour with Mirko was absolutely amazing. My wife and I had such a great time chatting with him during the drive between destinations about anything and everything from Montenegro's history and culture to his past experiences in America. It didn't feel like we were guests as much as it felt like we were friends sharing in the experience. While our cruise ship dropped us off at Kotor and Kotor itself is stunning, we got to experience so much more of what Montenegro has to offer that we otherwise never would have, and the memories will stick with us forever. This tour is highly recommended for anybody who wants to stray a bit off the beaten path while still having the opportunity to see and learn about Kotor.

We were on a cruise from Barcelona to Venice and booked this excursion on our own. Best decision of the trip! Mirko was our guide and he couldn't have been better. He was very knowledgeable, passionate, and educated as well as being an amazing driver. Driving in Montenegro, much like Italy, is a crazy wild ride and he made us feel safe while not missing a beat giving us the history of the area. Coming into the port was truly magnificent and unexpectedly beautiful. We will definitely return to this area in the future and won't hesitate to request Mirko.

Mirko is one of those people that you just immediately feel comfortable with. He is easy going, knowledgeable, and a a bit of a jokester. We had a great day with him in Montenegro and if I were to travel there again, I would definitely book another tour with Spot Montenegro, and request Mirko. The tour itself includes some stunning sites. In addition to the breathtaking Lovcen National Park, we saw the most beautiful church in Budva, and stopped for coffee at a place with amazing views overlooking the sea. By the end of the day, I not only had seen some beautiful sites and learned a lot about Montenegro's history and culture, but felt like I had made a friend. Great place, great tour, great guy.

Mirko was a knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and amiable guide who safely guided us around Montenegro on its windy roads. He had spent time in the U.S. so could use that as well to provide contrast on his people's customs. We also enjoyed his sense of humor. BTW, put on your good walking shoes.

Mirko was our guide for the tour of Skadar Lake and the mountains. What an amazing guide he was too. His English is excellent and his knowledge of his country and its history was very impressive. We learnt a lot from him, and he did not shy away from any questions or conversation topics which we appreciated. This tour was exceptional! One of the best I’ve been on… and I’ve been on a fair few! The tour was special, because Montenegro is special, and the views, the architecture are incredible. Especially the view of boka bay! Kotor and Budva old town are also incredible! The icing on the cake was our brilliant tour guide Mirko! He was a fountain of knowledge and made the whole day so insightful. I felt we really got a true taste of Montenegro and the history. I had so many questions and Mirko had really insightful answers to all of them.
