This is an amazing tour and considering it was my first time to the south of goa, I was floored. The destination itself is captivating and was brought to life by Jayden. He seemed a bit disconnected from the destination [maybe just following a script] but I felt he wasn't really willing to venture outside comfort zones [awarenessand information]. Though I must appreciate that he took me inside the holy spirit church when it was closed and we explored many a Christian symbolism. Highlight of the tour. I was sad that though you poster the church in your adverts, a visit inside is not included and thus misleading. Though we'll curated, jayden needs to be given the opportunity to study around the script like on hindu and Christian symbols on the church and hindu façades as he seemed a bit clueless. I loved the visit to the chocolate shop but was unimpressed by the food and service and proper feedback was given to them. I loved jaydens personally and how he tried to go out of his way to assist me. He is a gem but needs to be mentored to reach his full potential. I would recommend him. I didn't like the fact that we passed the local eatery in the old market and I wasn't offered to try the local sannas which were delicious, but instead was offered tiny morsels of food at the end of the tour. 1 patty and 1 puff and a tea cannot be marketed as local snacks offered / given / included in the tour. Rather do without or give us the option to pat separately as an add on to have some proper snacks a the end of a long walking tour. But overall, this was the second best tour in goa! Tip: ask the guide to let you try local stuff from the markets. It's It's good 1 hour journey from panjim and if you take the local bus, the start point is a 10 mins walk from it. The fare is inr 30-50.

Me and my wife booked Margao Cultural Walk tour with Soul Travelling. It was truly an enriching experience in terms of culture, food and architecture of Margao. Our ambassador was Jade Barrett, who has a deep knowledge about Margao (and Goa) and its culture, food, heritage and Indo-Portuguese architecture. He ensured that we were comfortable during entire tour and explained everything with great enthusiasm. The entire tour was interactive and not just one sided explanation from Jade which made it even more engaging and interesting for us. In the end, he took our group for snacks which was a nice little Goan place and had some really delicious Goan snacks. Goa is not just about beaches, drinks and parties, it has a rich history and a great culture which we tourists tend to ignore. Hence, this cultural walk is highly recommended for those interested. Interesting stories that explained some of the local history, and especially some of the lovely but abandoned houses in the town. Not overly strenuous. Starting at 4, the heat from the sun had reduced to comfortable level. Mufeed was a good and patient guide.

Absolutely loved our Madgaon Cultural trail in South Goa! It was the perfect way to wrap up our short trip. Mufeed, our guide, was not only polite but also incredibly knowledgeable about Madgaon, making the experience even more enriching. It was an amazing experience. So many facts and details about the history of a town, which are not accessible via Internet, were known. Visit to the cafe run by a smart chef who is an expert academician as well was quite enchanting experience.

Absolutely amazing cultural tour of Margao. The Soul Traveling ambassador Jade took us through the charming houses and buildings of Margao and explained the historical significance behind them. His commentary was so rich and interesting that it lent so much more colour to the already prettily coloured Indo-Portuguese houses! It took me back in time to the days of yore and I could imagine history happening right in front of my eyes. It was absolutely fascinating and I fell in love with Margao. Special shout-out to Jade for this marvellous experience. :)

I daily see the holy spirit church and some old houses which were the main attractions of this walk, but today got to know about the history and architectural side of them. A crazy town exploration with Pankaj. Many times we visit places but don't understand it's culture and history. So travelling has managed to integrate fun learning and experience based tourism in the most delightful way. We say old Houses, Mansions, architectural elements all from the eyes of the local. A must do thing when you are in South Goa.

On a very hot sunday afternoon I had the great pleasure to explore Margao with Mufeed as guide. On this tour I was the only guest, but my well-known guide was very motivated to answer all my questions. He offered me a lot of interesting informations about Goa and Margao and showed me a lot of details at the buildings we seen. Inbetween we had delious indian-portugies snacks and a refreshing drink. I was one of the lucky few people who did two walks with Soul traveling in one day. Started with the heritage walk in Majorda and ended with secret food and Tavern trail, covering one trail each in North and South Goa. Soul travelling you indeed are doing a wonderful job of showing people the heritage and culture of Goa which indeed goes unnoticed. The streets were pretty, we had mufeed as our tour guide and he was very passionate about the tour and gave us insights on the history of goa while walking through the streets. We took a lot of pictures and ended our tour with eating some local goan snacks at The Goan kitchen. ✨

It was an excellent walk and well done by Mufeed. We enjoyed our selves very much and will recommend it to others. The little snippets were interesting. The town itself is quaint and full of history. Additionally, the snack break was tasty and gave time to chat and exchange thoughts with the others.

We have been coming to South Goa from last 3 years but we dint knew much about the Margao history and such intricate things about it. We are glad that we got Mufeed as our partner in Soul traveling the streets of Margao. It was a fun time where we got to know things about Margao, played Little games , and ate delicious Goan snacks.
