Tons of fun! Got to see a lot of the places we had not already walked in the city. First time on a e-bike so it was a neat experience. Would definitely do it again.

My brother and I had an amazing time on the night tour on our first night in Auckland. We were fortunate to be the only ones in our tour and our guide Carson was amazing and provided local tips on things to do and answered all our questions. We had a headpiece that allowed us to hear our guide throughout the journey which was great! We traveled around 16km through Auckland and our guide took lots of photos and information on Auckland on our trip. Highly recommend this tour for anyone and a great way to get your bearings of the city and cover a lot of key places in Auckland.

For those who had never ridden an electric bike or any bike recently the instructions and practice pre ride took all anxiety away. Eddie was great in reassuring us we would all manage, and we did very successfully. Great evening tour, less people so easy ride and fantastic lighting around town. Eddie’s commentary gave us historic insight and what’s coming in future. Would highly recommend

Our tour guide Eddie was amazing he was so nice and help us with our first time on e-bikes. He even sent us recommendations of places to see on our day on one of New Zealand’s many islands! He really made the tour amazing and personalized it for us!!

This was the most amazing activity! So much fun and so easy! The electric bikes made the route incredibly easy, 12 km long and up a huge mountain! Eddie made us feel safe during the whole route, especially in traffic, and took great photos of us so we wouldn't forget the experience. A huge must do!!

I absolutely loved this tour! This ended up just being my husband and I with Eddie who was fantastic. He took some photos, gave clear directions, taught us a lot about New Zealand and patiently answered our questions. The electric bikes were fun to ride and the speaker on our ears during the ride let us clearly hear Eddie's commentary. Auckland is a pretty city and especially magical when light up for the night. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat, we had a great time!

So worth it! I haven't tried the day tour but so glad I was able to take the night one! For starters, group size is small so makes for so much more of a personal tour. 2nd is that Auckland is so much calmer during these hours it felt like you had the city to yourself to just cruise around and learn about some great bits of city's history and landscape. Eddie is the man! He knew how to take everyone's bike comfort into account and we could go from "nice and easy" to "let's get some speed" ride. Highly recommend but make sure you reserve with plenty of time as the groups are small for a more personable experience.

What an experience! Far better than expected and a must for any visitor to New Zealand (Auckland). It's more than just a bike ride - it is a fun introduction to Auckland with its 1.6 million inhabitants. The bikes are easy to master even for the pretty one that hasn't been on a bicycle since pa fell off the bus.

We booked onto The City Lights Tour last Saturday evening. We were met by Eddie as per our instructions where he gave us our intercoms and helmets and explained the structure of the tour. We then took to our e-bikes and Eddie gave us a comprehensive run-down of the e-bike controls which we put into practice by doing a short ride up and down the pathway. Next was the actual tour which was mainly using cycle paths so we felt very safe. Eddie gave commentary on local landmarks and history which was very interesting and informative. There were several photo opportunities which Eddie took care off and sent a copy of these photos to us via email later that same evening - super quick service! Eddie was very professional and knowledgeable and we had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. We would highly recommend this tour.

Such fun zipping through Auckland by night. We loved that the group size was small and we had ear pieces to hear our guide Carson who kept us entertained with some informative and witty banter. ❤️

Carson checked on us all the time to ensure he was going at the right speed and safety was a priority. Great night ride for our family of 5. As recent returnees we were amazed to see all the cycle paths now in Auckland. Great way to reconnect with our city. We will be highly recommending to our international guest (when the borders open again)!

Fun and fabulous from start to finish. Hubby and I wanted a special event for our wedding anniversary and the City Lights Tour was perfect. The Museum glowed gorgeously in the sunset, we whooped along the stunning pink Te Ara I Whiti (The Lightpath), and were wowed out as we wheeled past the wonderful waterfront. The e-bikes were modern, well-maintained and effortless to ride. Another highlight was our guide Eddie. who kept us further entertained with his commentary, history, jokes and stories via an earpiece. He was very safety conscious and road savvy. I felt 100% safe at all times. He took heaps of photos of us along with way, which he promptly emailed along with the clever map showing our whole ride and where the photos were captured. We have lived in Auckland for years and this tour was a fresh and exciting way to see our city in a new light. Recommended to anyone, whether celebrating a birthday, anniversary or just because this is truly an amazing thing to do.

The amount of customer care Eddie and Carson took over us was phenomenal. First we booked on the wrong date (21 Jan rather than 21 Feb), Eddie said no problem and rebooked us, no charge - thanks Eddie. Then I told Carson that my could not see so well at night, he put two extra headlights on the bike to help her, I was just blown away. We were given all the gear, headphones so Carson could tell us what we were riding by and water. The bikes are fun, they have (what we would call) a throttle, so if you want to whizz away when the lights go green, open the throttle and you are across the road with ease. They are great bikes (local New Zealand), so easy to use. Carson is a cool dude and a great guide round the city, which he knows well, he showed us a bunch of things that you could easily miss if you tried this on your own. We did about 10k in the just under 2 hours of quite easy pedalling. We stopped a number of times for Carson to explain parts of the city. The Pink Road was fun and Carson took photos of us to boot. A really great experience.

It is another fantastic experience to visit Auckland city in night time. Good choice👍🏻 Must promote to my bike friends to join this tours if they have chance to visit NZ.

What a brilliant way for local Aucklanders to see their city! We loved every minute and this tour opened our eyes to Auckland in new ways. There wasn't a category in the review options for us, but we are a family of adults and this was a family Christmas present. The tour was excellently designed, equipment was well explained, our initial orientation was just right. Eddie's en route commentary was great, as he alerted us to anything we needed to see or to know about so that we were safe and prepared for upcoming intersections or potential obstacles. We are all reasonably active people but hadn't ridden bikes for years. Fitness levels are not an issue though and, as long as you can ride a bike, you don't need to be a practiced expert. No hesitation in recommending this and we'll make sure to add this experience to 'must-do' activities for out-of-town guests.

What a way to kick start the journal. Our expecting was high because of the previous good reviews and the experience trumped it. Our guide was so informative and attentive. Fantastic personality. High recommend it!
