I arranged this tour for a group attending meetings in London. They loved it! One of the attendees said it was a "storming success". I couldn't have hoped for more.

The tour is advertised as having plans in place to see Changing of the Guard but the tour guide was unaware of planned closures for the marathon and hadn’t planned to be able to see it. We missed the primary focus of the tour.

Our guide was knowledgeable and interesting. We could never have seen and learned all that we did without her.

My family only had a few hours to see the British Musuem, so we hired a private guide. The guide we were supposed to be assigned didn't show, so we were quickly adopted by Matilda, a wonderfully knowledgeable and energetic guide who we shared with another couple. What was great about the tour was that we saw objects that we might otherwise have walked past not realizing the fascinating history they told. We also hit the highlights, of course, most notably the Rosetta Stone - which Matilda had interesting information not written on the museum's signs. I think we saw more with a guide than we would have on our own, and we certainly learned a lot more as well. It was a wonderful experience, and I would recommend this tour!

Our guide Stefanie, was extremely knowledgeable. She also knew all the key places to go in a museum as large as the BM, that was critical. The museum is so vast, and there is so much to see, I would highly recommend having a guide, and Stefanie was the best.

Andy was so knowledgeable. Just incredible. We had a family of three including a 4th grader. Everyone loved it. I can’t imagine doing the museum solo. I wouldn’t have gotten a sliver of the experience without the additional context and history Andy brought to the tour. He made it so much fun. Don’t hesitate. Highly worthwhile.

Sacha was an excellent guide and his background as a Historian made him perfectly suited for the job. He provided information and commentary that brought the exhibits to life; exactly what one needs! He also guided us to the biggest exhibits so that we made the most of our time and made the experience fun for my 2 teenagers by asking questions and engaging them throughout the tour.

Our family of four (“kids” ages 16 and 19) had a fantastic tour of the British Museum with Sebastian. He was knowledgeable and engaging. Our time together was informative and fun. We especially enjoyed how he was able to get us thinking about museums and the issues they face in today’s world. It sparked great family conversation. There’s so much to see and without a guide it would have been overwhelming. If you want to make the most of your time there, definitely book a tour with Sebastian!

Andi, our guide, was incredible in both knowledge and personality. He asked us what our interests were, and lead us to the highlights. It was paced well and we saw so much and learned. We could have never navigated through the museum and found everything on our own in any reasonable amount of time. This is the time to pay and get so much value for your money. We saw everything on our list. We would like to return to London just to spend a few hours each day at this Museum. Our minds were so saturated in 2.5 hours, we could not have absorbed anymore for the day. Viator is always a good choice to set up tours. We have set up 3 with them this week. Dependable.

We loved our tour! My husband and I had our nearly 9 y/o with us and could not have been more pleased with our tour guide, Stephanie (Stef), who made it incredibly enjoyable for all of us. She had a great way of story telling and integrating aspects of the room to keep it very interesting. So appreciative of her for making it such a great history lesson for our family!
