This was an incredible tour! Our guide, Nick, was amazing. He had us eating and exploring food from all different regions of Colombia and sharing the vast history of each dish! As we walked around, he also shared some history of La Candelaria, the street art, and the historical sites. The food was delicious. We had 7 different dishes; at the beginning, I was skeptical that I would be full by the end as the portions were small, but the last 3 dishes were heavy with bigger portions, and by dish 7, I could barely finish my food. Loved this tour it was a great time!

This tour was totally worth it! Our tour guide Marcela was very nice and made sure we were all doing good and enjoying the food. I’m not a vegetarian but I got to have the vegetarian option in certain spots as I don’t eat seafood. So they really try to accommodate allergies and food preferences. It says “snacks” but me and my friend, really the whole group ended the tour very full of delicious food! We had breakfast before hand just because we didn’t want to be starving starting the tour, but nothing too big. Definitely bring water or something to drink as you’re mainly eating, only one stop has a sample of juice which was delicious! If you’re lactose intolerant TAKE A LACTAID PILL so you get to enjoy the food! Overall this was a wonderful experience.

I have been on many food tours in the last ten years or so and found this to be one of the best yet. Perhaps that was because of the cheeky charm of our guide, Cristian, who was in equal parts entertaining and educational as we wandered Bogotá’s La Candelaria. Virtually all the food we tried had a rustic and unpretentious quality to it, which I enjoyed a lot. We savoured a great many morsels of Colombia, from ceviche and South American-style tamales to the country’s classic ajiaco and cheese carimañolas. For the uninitiated, carimañolas are little dumplings made out of yuca and fried, and come with my hearty recommendation. I really liked the way, at the end of the tour, several of us, including the guide Cristian, organically ended up having a drink or two together. We really enjoyed this tour and I am glad to recommend it to others.

The tour was good, and had a good representation of the variety of foods. I found it quite rushed going between each place, and I understand it was a food tour but some more history explaining would be good. It started off strong, but dwindled from there. It was good to experience, but I likely would not attend again.

We were in a big group of 14. Everywhere we go, it took us time to get seated, get our food, and get situated. Hats off to Gabrielle as she did her best trying to manage a big group for a food tour. I also want to mention that some of the food was not worthy to be in the food tour. Small servings of the ceviche (1 pc with tons of onions), and a bite of veal. It took so long to wait for a small piece of food. The TAMAL was fantastic though. Kudos also to Gabrielle for explaining how to make each dish. But I’d recommend that they might wanna alter their food pit stops.

Our guide Lorenzo, was amazing. He had both charm and passion for his role as guide. He managed the tour in both Spanish and English seamlessly. The food was excellent in all locations visited, but make sure to bring an empty stomach……

One of the best ways to spend 3-4 hrs in Bogotá. Lorenzo not only introduced us to all the local delicacies but also regaled us with stories from history that were interlinked with local mythology and fabulous street art. Highly recommended!

This tour was pretty chaotic. We were a group of 16 on a Sunday. The streets were busy because it was a weekend. So the tour guide spent most of the time just trying to find the whole group and keep everyone together. Half the group was very late (almost an hour) and we waited a significant amount of time for them which seemed pretty rude to the 8 people that were on time. They finally joined at the second stop. The food at each stop was fine. It was enough food but there was so much downtime between stops it started to drag on. I think the tour took 4 hours and was scheduled for 3. I would highly recommend skipping this tour and do the private city tour instead. We did that today and it was so much more enjoyable. The group was 8 people. We did try different foods on the tour. And we visited so much of the city. It’s not even that much more expensive. The value is better.

This is a great food tour to do in bogota! The selection of places that they take you to are really top notch. They have great character and the food is delicious. You get to try food from all over the country. Nicolas was an amazing guide, he was very informative, and a great time. The tour company has great communication with the guests, as we opted to do a private tour for just our family. I highly recommend it while you’re in bogota!

Really enjoyed our tour. More than enough to eat but too many chicken items served. Fortunately our guide substituted items for the chicken for me. Our guide was EXCELLENT!!! I think his name was Lorenzo but not sure. Very accommodating, easy to understand, fun, etc. would definitely recommend this your.
