We, family of three, signed up for the 7-day Machame route with Africa Natural Tours. Godfrey has been very helpful, answering many of our questions prior to the climb and also helped to arrange our airport transfer. Our guides (Baraka and Nukka) and porters (Frank, Wilson, Walter, Abdul and many others) were very supportive during the climb. Food was great although we loss our appetite at higher altitude. During the summit night, our two guides plus one summit porter (Abdul) went with us and they provided great encouragement, supports and understanding, led to the successful summit on Boxing day. On the descend, my boy managed to pick up the 'African ski' down the scree. Overall, very happy with the support provided and appreciate the hospitality of the celebration.

Embarking on this Kilimanjaro trek with African Natural Tours was undoubtedly one of the best decisions I've ever made. They not only provided a safe and well-organized expedition but also created a supportive and enjoyable environment throughout the journey. the bond with the guides, and the sense of achievement upon reaching the summit made this adventure truly unforgettable.

For us (David, Lucas and Marvin), three guys from Germany, it was not easy to choose a tour provider for our Kilimanjaro ascent, because all of the provider we found seemed to have a 5 star rating on Google & other platforms. Because Africa Natural had a really good media presence in various channels (Instagram, Facebook, TripAdvisor, Website etc.) they convinced us too book them and we had a really fair price for our 7-days Machame route. We choose the medium price, but there is a more comfortable option as well. Before we came to Tanzania we wanted to make a prepayment for the tour, but neither WISE nor Western Union worked out. This felt a little suspicious to me, but it turned out that all is fine. We could also pay the tour in the ANT headquarter when we arrived in Moshi. The hotel "Kilimanjaro White House Hotel", which ist a little bit outside of the city center turned to be quite nice with a rooftop that enables a beautiful view on the Uhuru Peak. The staff was also really friendly and the rooms are totally okay. In our 2 days before the route started, we had time to arrive in Tansania, got briefed by our guide Nelson about the next 7 days and rent additional gear. I recommend starting the climb on the third day, to have time arrive and adapt well and without stress. The tour itself went accordingly to plan and we had a really good support from the whole crew. All the tents (sleeping & dinning) we're in place when we arrived at the camps, the food was varied, our waiter brought us hot tea to our tent every morning and our guides played a crucial role in our summit success story. They briefed us every evening for the next days, advised us what to wear, prepared us mentaly for all the challenges and were even doctors, for example when I twisted my ancle. Also we learned a lot from them about the people, the culture and the country Tanzania itself. Our guides spoke fluent english, some Porters spoke okay english and some just a few word's, but there was always a way to communicate. Looking back now, two weeks later and back in Germany, the experience could not have been better. Thank you Africa Natural Tours for organizing this experience that we will remember for a lifetime. Hiking Mt. Kilimanjaro for 7 days via machame route and Mt. Meru in 3 day were very impressive, to see the nature of Africa and its beauty, if you attende to the spot you can never regret, since it fortifies you body due to exercise of hiking and environmental exploration, pleasure and learning about conditions variation, how it alter in different zones.

I had an incredible Kilimanjaro experience through Machame route traveling with Africa Natural Tours. All of the team was amazing and very cooperative starting from Mr Godfrey the company manager together with his working team including sales team, professional guide, porters and cooks. Just came back from the Machame route... The trip has been amazing, from planning through to execution. Africa natural tour team has made everything easy and went out of their way to make the whole trip as comfortable as possible. I have the utmost respect to both the porters and the guides. This trip would not have been possible without them. We have been treated like royalty to the point where I really felt guilty sitting back. We have been looked after with care and interest from the team. Then the food….oh my chefs impressed us with the variety and quality of food offered so much so that “eat BIG” was not a difficult task. I have actually gained some extra weight from this trip. Unfortunately, one of our dearest members could not summit with the team due to health concerns. The chief guide, David, acted professionally and swiftly in assisting the member back to safety for proper care. Hats off to the guide and porters for transporting our team member quickly off the mountain. Overall, I have had an awesome experience and many fond memories. Thank you! I had an exceptional trip in Kilimanjaro, tough but it was quite enjoyable. Thanks for the exceptional service from the crew in particular Gabriel and Nickson, these guys are an asset. The rest of the crew were exceptional, the chef, the waiter and the rest of the support was beyond my expectation. My only worry is the occupational safety issues of the porters and this will mostly be due to the fact that as a trade unionist those are fundamental issues that I will always propagate. More can be done to make sure the porters have basic safety gear to meet the inherent challenges of the mountain. Over and above that I give you guys 5 out of 5.

The Machame Route with summiting Uhuru Peak was a great experience for us. 4 out of 4 climbed Uhuru Peak. John and his team made this experience a big success for us. We cannot state how helpful and friendly the whole team was. Under really difficult circumstances they supplied a fantastic service to us. They have been very professional and client-driven. We have always felt safe and very much individually taken care of. The food was excellent, their motivation to/for us and their whole effort, too. There is nothing more to say: Thank you for such a fantastic trip!!!

We had a team of 7 successful summit Kilimanjaro via the Machine route. Our trip was truly amazing. The climb for our team was successful and really enjoyable. The entire team who took care of us exceeded our expectations. We started planning the trip over a year ago and the entire process from the beginning to end was incredibly smooth. Our guides and porters made us feel at home and did everything they could to make us comfortable. The food was incredible and our camps were always so nicely set up. It was once in a lifetime experience - climbing Kilimanjaro. My husband and I decided to climb Mount Kilimanjaro and we went with Africa Natural Tours after reading numerous positive reviews. So glad we did because from the first enquiry with Godfrey to the last drop off at Kilimanjaro Airport the service was exceptional. Godfrey answered all our questions and put our minds to rest with any doubts we had. Joseph was waiting for us at the airport when we landed. The following day Gabriel came to the hotel to debrief us and knew straight away that we were in good hands and there started our incredible trek of Mount Kilimanjaro. Kelvin cooked a variety of incredible meals for us. The other porters were amazing carrying our duffel bags and other supplies daily, nothing was too much trouble and always smiling and giving encouragement every step of the way. Their dedication and attention to ensuring our welcome, safety, security and satisfaction for the whole week of our hike up Kilimanjaro. They are a formidable team and we could not have achieved our goal nor had such a memorable experience if it had not been for all of them. After corona we took the flight to Tanzania for my kilimanjaro hiking, we were picked by the driver Joseph then he droped me to the hotel. The guide checked all our equipments. The next day we started our 7 days hiking via machame route, all were oky Instead of 7days we used 6 days which enabled us do add a day teip to Tarangire

From the time I got off the plane and walked out the airport, I was greeted by the driver, Joseph. He was polite, professional, and courteous. I was taken to the hotel where I had a nice dinner, shower and then went to sleep in a very nice bed. In the morning I met with guide and porters, a great experience started…. The service was excellent from the initial contact, online pre arrangements, pick up at the airport up to the last moment, the last day of the ascend using the Machame route is really exhausting and one needs a lot of mental power too. The staff is great though, they are helping throughout the trip, we would not make it without them and they want you to succeed! 100% for the agency and the guides, porters and the chef too. Thanks

They arranged everything very well and the tour was super organized. The crew had guide, porters and cook. Everything was perfect, I highly reccommend this company.
