It was my first Kilimanjaro climb and selected the 6 days Machame route within short notice. Godfrey confirmed and arranged the trip promptly, and he was responsive to my many questions. I was taken care of by the crew throughout the trip with great service, and Gabriel as my guide looked after my welfare. He even went out of his way to bring me around Moshi town after we successfully summited and returned! Great experience for my first trip to Tanzania.

We had a great time exploring Kili with the crew at Africa Natural Tours. Our guides, Edwin, Kajia, and Rocky, were all excellent. They were fantastic people to get to know and explained everything thoroughly on the hike. Our servers, Mashrek and Rahima, were also wonderful. Mashrek, in particular, went above and beyond on multiple occasions to make our time on the mountain as comfortable and memorable as possible. I am sure he will make an outstanding guide and team leader one day. The rest of the porters and chef team were also excellent and worked hard to make sure we had a great time. As a side note (unrelated to the team), I recommend booking at least a 7-day tour for Kili. Summiting on day 5 of the 6-day tour was difficult (even with Diamox) and would have been more enjoyable with the extra acclimatization afforded by a 7+ day tour. At the end of our tour, we went on a one-day Safari at Ngorongoro crater with Joseph. This was a fantastic experience. We could see some amazing animals, and Joseph went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time possible. We were thrilled that we had this extra time to see the animals!

Last July (2022) I trekked Kilimanjaro, Lemosho route over 6 days with Africa Natural Tours. I highly recommend using this well organized and accommodating company. One the best experiences of my life. I also used this company to go on a two day Safari which was also awesome.

Kilimanjaro is more interesting!!, The important thing to bear in mind with this trek is that, with the exception of the summit day, the walking is pretty dull. I've trekked extensively in Nepal, Europe and the UK and the scenery on Kilimanjaro is more interesting pretty. If you took away the summit, everyone one would be interested in walking there. Yes, the scenery does change from day to day - you start off in forest, then that becomes scrubland as you get higher. Therefore, I look at this trek as something to do for enjoyment. The summit day is very, very, very tough - six hours of steep climbing on gravel/screed, with an ascent of around 1200m, not much in the way of oxygen and in the dark, with the temperature comfortably below freezing. It's not so much about personal fitness as how well you cope with the altitude and how mentally tough you are. If you follow the advice from the guides, it'll certainly help though. The contribution of the guides to the success of our group cannot be underestimated - they were fantastic, particularly on the summit day.” Thanks Africa Natural

Best trip to the Kilimanjaro Tanzania, Truly a trip of a lifetime that was made by the wonderful group of people and the fantastic guides. Our head guide Gabriel was superb as were his assistant guides who looked after us exceptionally well. We were very lucky with the weather which definitely helped as we could appreciate the beautiful and varied landscape fully. The overall organization of the trip was superb, the tents up when we arrived, fantastic food throughout the trip (thank you Spiderman!) and the tea and washy- washy every morning set us for the day. Wish I could do it all over again!”

I did the 6 day Machame route in August 2020. Godfrey and the staff at Africa Natural Tours really know what they're doing and have the best prices in Moshi. I actually finished the trek in 5 days and everything went smoothly. My guide Buda and all the porters were all experienced and knowledgeable. They really provide a 5 star experience.

Mt Kilimanjaro was absolute beauty,serenity..wonderful views,,the thrill that comes with the experience is one of a kind..given that I was afraid of heights..I enjoyed myself..maybe next time I'll have someone come along..six days seemed too short..
