We had a great tour with Djhamila! She not only took us to great spots for food, she also knew all the history of each place. Everything we had was delicious and she was able to answer so many questions and provide great recommendations to many other things we might want to do or try in the city. Would recommend to do this food tour, and if possible do it early in your stay so you can go back to all these wonderful locations!

There's clearly been a lot of thought put into this tour. The food was phenomenal and Jamila was a fantastic guide, telling us about the food, the owner's stories and some of the background into the locations. Even for a fairly food obsessed couple I'm not sure we could have ever found some of these amazing spots without insider knowledge. I just wish we'd come earlier in our stay so we could have revisited some more and tried out more of their menus.

The Antigua Foodie Tour wowed! From rooftop hibiscus margaritas to melt-in-your-mouth tacos, it explored hidden gems. To conclude with charcoal marshmallow ice cream sent my emotions into overdrive and the tears of joy came rolling down my cheeks. Our knowledgeable host truly elevated the experience. She possessed a genuine rapport with each location we visited, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the tour. Jamila is an amazing host! She was so sweet and knowledgeable. Every spot we visited was unique in their food approach and everything tasted delicious! Antigua is easily one of the top destinations in Guatemala for food, culture, beautiful scenery and an amazing people! Food tour I highly recommend!

Awesome tour of restaurants we probably would never try on our own. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the history of the town and the places we were visiting.

This tour was like having a restaurant stroll with good friends. My daughter and I were joined by another couple who were interested in the history as well as the culinary offerings in the beautiful town of Antigua. We were not disappointed as Jamila led us on a relaxed but focused tour of some of her favorite spots. We were able to later return to some of our favorites, and we were able to share our findings with others who in Antigua for a wedding that week. I highly recommend this tour early in your itinerary so that you can continue to explore the many food options in Antigua with Jamila's guidance.

So fun and delicious!! Jamila was a very warm, welcoming and knowledgable host. We stopped at 7 local restaurants for a variety of delicious food. The balance of choices was really great because we got to try many different things including: goat cheese and tomato toast, cactus tacos, ceviche, pupusas, and ice cream. Afterward, Jamila emailed a list of additional restaurant recommendations that was really helpful throughout the rest of our trip! For a surprise bonus, we ran into Jamila the next day while on another tour!! She was so friendly and introduced us to another of her favorite spots.

Excellent experience guide was super sweet, and informative and really brought us to some amazing locations to try food we never would have stumbled upon in Guatemala. I recommend this tour on the first day of your trip so you know all the great spots to visit for the rest of your journey.

100% recommend. The price might seem high for a food tour but it’s worth it. Antigua is a town of hidden gems so it’s a massive help to have a local show you the spots. I spent more money on trying bad restaurants so I consider this tour an investment. Kwame, the guide, is fantastic and his passion for Antigua and the food really shines.

Super fun experience with a truly great tour guide! We were a group fo 10 30yos visiting the city for our friend's wedding, and had booked the tour as a fun post-wedding event. Kwame with a lot of fun and targeted the tour to us (in all of our hangover states.) He kept us moving without rushing us, and was willing to meet all the various dietary restrictions of the group. We actually visited a few "unofficial" locations since they met the needs of our group more. This tour actually was one of the major highlights of the trip for my husband and I! Would absolutely recommend

Our guide Jamila was knowledgeable, charming, and made terrific choices about where to eat. She was a fountain of information about the city, the culture, and of course, the food.

Jamilla was a wonderful host. We very much enjoyed the tour. We were introduced to a number of restaurants that we might not have tried otherwise and were very happy with the selections. I am hoping for nine new restaurants to try next year!
