Incredible experience. Very humbling. Aweisu was an amazing guide. Not an overly long tour, you basically get driven to the site and spend an hour or so being walked through Agbogbloshie seeing some of the working and living areas.

Highly recommend this incredible and insightful tour into the growing challenge of electronic waste. Our tour guide Taufic and the indomitable Awal showed us both sides of this challenge and as we explored we understood more about the community and the people that have carved out a living here and we could see the economic innovation everywhere. So much to understand and learn from our knowledgeable guides - an experience never to be forgotten. Thank you both for creating this opportunity for others to learn from. Warmest wishes.

Such an eye-opening trip seeing this part of Ghana, which I think not most travellers chose to go. I had an opportunity to see how these so called scrappers dealers processed a tradeable metals from literally pile of electronic junks. It was quite bizarre to see how massive and large the waste accumulated to the point it becomes a mountain-like figure. Taufiq was very informative and such a high energy guide to travel with. Highly recommend this trip for those of you who concern about environmental change. Ps. Wear tough shoes

Increased amounts of E-waste should be a global concern. Developing countries see e-waste as a potential source of valuable materials, leading to efforts to recover and reuse components from discarded electronics, but this is not always done with adequate safety measures. Open burning and dumping may cause harm to the public health, and the environment. This visit was an eye-opener about the extent and severity of the problem. I truly recommend this visit.

This tour was amazing. By far one of the most important tourist tours I've ever taken. Really eye-opening. Also the guide Toufiq was fantastic. I recommend this tour to everyone.

This was a deeply disturbing and much-needed tour for anyone who consumes electronics - the impact we have on not just the environment but also livelihoods, communities becomes damningly apparent. Kudos to our amazing guides Kobe and Awal, the latter of whom is a star of the film Welcome To Sodom.

The tour to Agbogbloshie with Toufic and Awal is something I would recommend to everyone interested in the global waste challenge, environmemtal issues and social justice. It is eyeopening, disturbing and educating at the same time. Toufic and Awal answers all your questions, and have a lot of knowledge. It is amazing to see how people work to reuse and get as much as possible out of every electronic item ending there, but at the same time the health hazzard and environmemtal problems are obvious. Let us work together to make a helthier, just and sustainable global system for waste management, and start with taking a walking tour at Agbogbloshie.

It was a good experience. It allows you to get a good perspective on where your trash goes and why we need to focus on solid waste recycling.

Unique and insightful experience. Toufic and Mohammad were really knowledgeable about local life and shared a lot of information based on their experience. The tour appears to have been well received by the local community, so I was not made to feel unwelcome by the locals.

This tour is an opportunity to see a fascinating, if at times harrowing, aspect of the city and its people. It should be a must-see/do for anyone visiting Accra to learn about this site and the community living there and working hard to make a living from waste (much of it coming from Europe!) Toufic and Koby, and especially their connection at the site, are knowledgable about the place, people and craft and their enthusiasm helps to make this an unforgettable experience. Toufic and Koby are also great sources of knowledge about the city and offering other tour experiences there and around Ghana. Thanks both!

Unforgettable experience. Toufic and Mohammad were the perfect guides through this site and made sure we were not being intrusive. To understand how waste circles around the globe, you must see this place if you have a chance.

This was my first trip in Ghana with tripadvisor. It was smooth and fulfilling. The guides were knowledgeable and welcoming. Agbogbloshie is a must-see when visiting Accra. Shows a different aspect of the lives of internal and foreign migrant workers. The trip promises a humbling experience. Suitable for solo travellers, even females. Book the tour in peace!

We booked a tour of the Abogbloshie e-waste site in Accra worth Ghanamustgo tours, because of how the place is it’s not really possible to see it without a guide and our guide Toufic was brilliant, very knowledgeable, really interesting guy too. It’s hard to describe Abogbloshie, it’s a waste dump but there is a nice community there trying to survive making money from breaking down and recycling old cars, fridges, tvs etc, and many people there were very welcoming. This is the most interesting tour we have been on in Ghana, it’s a hard dangerous and what people do to survive there and you get to see that up close with good explanations. Toufic and his local connection there really showed us many sides of the community that has built up there. Highly recommend doing this tour if you are visiting Accra.

Amazing day with Toufic. Pickup on time, despite the maze of Accra's traffic we had plenty of time in the bustle of the Agbogbloshie community. An incredible, fascinating place. A must-see!
