My cousins were looking to get to Papallacta, and Quito Tour Bus took us there swiftly, but with lots of interesting information and a great stop to view the volcano Antisana. The hot spring waters were great too, and the hike afterwards was leisurely and beautiful. Many thanks to our guide Irene and driver Ivan!

We had the pleasure of going to the Aguas Termales de Papallacta. On our way we had an amazing tour guide. Mauro is amazingly smart! He knows so much about Ecuadorian food, traditions, floral and fauna, and folklore. We learned so much on our trajectory towards the thermal waters. Once we arrived we got to relax in the thermal pools. We even challenged ourselves and went into the cold pool. It was such a nice and relaxing day and got to learn a lot more about Ecuador! Definitely recommend booking and ask for Mauro. Thank you Mauro and Jaime (our driver) for a wonderful day!

I enjoyed such a relaxing day with Magus! It was so amazing to connect with her while enjoying a nature walk, hot springs, lunch & drive through the gorgeous landscape. Magus was able to answer many of my curiosities & enlighten me on Ecuadorian culture. This tour is perfect to relax and rejuvenate after all the hiking and activity of your other tours. We opted out of the optional hike in this tour and headed straight to the spa. Our guide Irene was incredible! She was very knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and made sure we were completely taken care of. Thank you for an incredible time!

Smooth ride there and the hot springs were beautiful. The hot springs themselves were more of a water park than a relaxing experience that seemed to be advertised. Honestly not sure it was worth the price. Entry fee was only a few dollars

The guide and driver were great! Very friendly and know very well the place! Great relaxing place. The girl that attends over the phone is not polite and friendly at all. She put a pick up time that has a 30min range, the bus still arrive late after the maximum and get nervous when you try to call. And the traffic in Quito is not that bad to justify a delay over 30min. Still this girl should take some classes of customer mindset and attendance.

We had a great day at Papallacta and the tour was really nice! I appreciated doing a short hike prior to going to the Hot Springs as it was neat to see the plants of the nature preserve as well as the river that runs into the springs. It made the hot springs all the more enjoyable. Our guide, Carlos, was knowledgeable, and provided great information. It also felt very relaxed; we never felt rushed and had plenty of time to enjoy the springs. It was a bit more crowded being on a Sunday, but overall it was a wonderful day and terrific experience!

The drive from Quito to Papallacta was incredible. The hot springs are beautiful and the hike along the River was really pretty. Our soak was wonderful with not many people. We’ll stay overnight next time!

Skip this tour. It’s super cheap to enter the pools and the pictures are of the private pools you have to pay extra to get into. Very overpriced, not much to see or do unless you can soak in the water for more than two hours. The walk is actually not on the property and well off property around a farm. Also lunch was not included but the guide scheduled a time to meet for lunch at the expensive spa restaurant. It’s not included, so why schedule lunch? Also towels are extra $. Get a driver from your hotel and save some money.

Francisco was our guide for the day and he was “muy bueno”. He was very informative and a lot of fun. We had a wonderful experience on the journey to Papallacta and the hike along the River once we got to the Hot Springs. It is the most beautiful hot springs we have ever been to and we have been to many. This is a must do day trip out of Quito. Ask for Francisco as your guide, you will not be disappointed!

The hot springs were amazing!! My guide was less than amazing. They will let you rent a towel there for $1. BRING A TON OF SUNSCREEN AND REAPPLY I didn't need any bug spray.

I highly recommend this tour! The hot springs are very pretty and extremely relaxing. Roberto was a knowledgeable guide who speaks great English and really knows his birds. This was a very nice short 1.5 hour trip from Quito that allowed us to see the lovely mountains and foliage of Ecuador.

It was a relaxing experience with a beautiful scenery and an awesome guide. All the COVID precautions were taken.

Our family took this tour from Quito to Papallacta. Erica the guide was great! We stopped on the way to see Antisana which they said is almost always covered in clouds. We got a clear view of it and took a bunch of great photos. We then stopped at Papallacta Lake before reaching Termas de Papallacta. There we started with a nice hike along a river with beautiful flowers and waterfalls. We then headed into the spring pools. There are bathrooms, changing rooms, showers, and lockers. You can also grab a basket to put your towel and stuff in to keep it dry and together. There are a few larger pools and then a few more smaller pools. You can choose the temperature you want. There is also a cool pool. There is a restaurant and snack shop to grab a bite to eat. The food was good, the prices were reasonable and the service was average. We chose to go to the public pools which is included in the cost of the tour. You can so pay a little bit more and go to the spa. We did not visit the spa. Worth the trip from Quito and Erica made the trip fun.

Carlos our guide was great, ask for him😊. The hot springs is one of a kind. If you like natural hot springs don’t pass this one up. Great scenic drive as well!

What an incredible experience! Mauro by far is the best tour guide I’ve had the pleasure of coming across in the many countries I’ve visited around the world! I brought my parents to Ecuador for my parents 48th anniversary and my dads 72nd birthday. The hot springs were nothing short of magical. Full body massages, hot pools and a freezing cold one we did it all! The history and knowledge Mauro brought on the ride there and back, as a native of Quito made this tour one for the books!!! Can’t wait to come back

The pools were clean and hot! Francisco was the best guide. He took us on a hike prior to the hot springs. His knowledge of local flora was a bonus.

Our guide and driver picked us up on time and headed out of Quito across the Andes Mountains to Papallacta. Be ready for very cool temps in this area of the Andes which are beautiful and lush green. As soon as we arrived, we headed to the spa to book massages. Our friendly guide was very helpful with this. Fortunately they were able to accommodate 5 of us right before our departure time, but I would recommend contacting the spa directly to book spa treatments in advance to be sure you get a massage or other treatment if you want one. Our relaxation massages were great! The staff follows strict Covid protocols, and you need to wear a mask during massages. The hot springs pools are very hot upon first entering, but you become accustomed after a few minutes. The cool year-round climate makes it enjoyable. We also ate a filling lunch at the restaurant. The changing areas, showers, and lockers were all clean and well organized with a key and basket for each person to store your things. Towels are available to rent for $1 each. The 4 hours at the hot springs and spa passed quickly but were very enjoyable and relaxing. The 2 hour drive each way is also very scenic. It was a perfect way to end our trip to Ecuador.
