This was absolutely our favorite day trip out of Prague! Petr was fantastic offering something for everyone. Why do just Terazin when you can see so much more on his tour. He treated us at a cafe with coffee and a delectable sweet and later in the day at a traditional Czech restaurant in the countryside. We enjoyed all the food on the trip, but today’s was the BEST.

This was a lovely tour put together well and Peter was fun, informative, and kept the pace very well. All the stops were well thought out with beautiful scenery. The food was wonderful and filling and I just cannot say enough about this tour. Would recommend for anyone coming to Prague.

Pete was an exceptional guide with a solid understanding of the history associated with both sites and genuinely wanted to spend time with us. He was also so attentive to the "little" details from ensuring everyone's comfort in the vehicle to offering them a selection of local beverages during transit. I was especially appreciative of the time spent at Terezin both in the small fortress and in the ghetto and the personal insights Pete offered about Nazi occupation. Finally, while you will not actually visit Switzerland during this tour, you will certainly leave with an understanding about why the region is know as Bohemia Switzerland and the beautiful landscapes it offers.

This tour has something for everyone. So much more than a trip just to Terezin. Peter was so knowledgable! His planned stops at a cafe and restaurant were the BEST! I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants to see the sites, countryside and have great food.

We had a fantastic tour with Pete who was very knowledgeable and kept us informed and entertained throughout the trip. The tour is a perfect combination of history and natural beauty and the stops for coffee and lunch were both in quaint picturesque locations which added to the charm. It is clear that Pete puts in a lot of effort into ensuring his customers are comfortable and have a good tour. Highly recommend this tour if you are in the Czech Republic.

Peter went above and beyond in every respect. The deserts were overwhelmingly good. The lunch was at a beautiful place we never would have found just steps from the German border. And the food. Do much and so good. Peter even provided the Euros for the bathroom for some who did not have put of generosity. The time went over a little because everyone was having such a great time. Terezin was so sobering but was leavened with the breathtaking beauty of Bavaria. Peter was very knowledgeable. If I could give 20 stars I would. Don't hesitate. Take this tour.

This tour was amazing in every way. Peter Hainz was warm and friendly when he picked us up and remained that way throughout the entire tour. He was also very knowledgeable and interesting as he shared many historical stories. The best part for me was that he did not rush us. He let us take the time we needed to absorb what we could from each stop. He was enthusiastic throughout the day, and he was a pleasure to be with.

This was the best tour I have ever been on. Peter was just a fantastic person with an incredible amount of knowledge. He was right on time when he picked us up from the hotel and from then on it was a wonderful experience

Peter was absolutely wonderful. From our early morning start to evening drop off, he regaled us with nonstop historical stories and commentary about life in the Czech Rep. This young man is BRILLIANT (and friendly, easy-going, and charming) and we appreciated every minute. We hope to find him again in the future. As far as the Terezin camp and the scenic Bohemian Switzerland tours, both were incredible in their respective ways. We highly recommend this tour and tour guide.

So glad that I booked this day tour during my recent visit to Prague. Petr was a fantastic guide and I was grateful that I got to experience areas of the Czech Republic (and Germany) outside of the city. Petr went above and beyond is providing a comfortable and memorable experience throughout the day, from various stops to pointing out important sites along the drive. Having a guide for the Terezin Camp was extremely beneficial for understanding the role that Terezin played before and during the war, which was information I previously was unaware of. In addition, being able to see areas of the country that you would have to have a vehicle to access made the experience that much more worthwhile. Petr also brought us to some great places for local Czech baked goods and lunch, both of which were some of the best I had during my trip. Highly recommend this day trip for anyone visiting Prague!

This was an incredible experience!! Although visiting the Terezin Camp was extremely emotional it should not be missed. The coffee and desert at the old railway station was the perfect Segway to the hike in Bohemian Switzerland. It was a beautiful place made more magical by the recent snow. Petra is a superb tour guide. He not only shared his wealth of Czech history along the journey but many stories of his childhood over a delicious lunch in the national park. We were lucky to have just one other couple on the excursion with us. The whole day was absolutely perfect and we were sad to see it end.

Our tour guide Petr made the trip exceptional with their extensive knowledge, engaging storytelling, and impeccable organisational skills. Every moment was filled with interesting anecdotes and seamless transitions between attractions. Despite visibility challenges, Petr’s adaptability shone through. They adeptly adjusted the itinerary, ensuring we still enjoyed a fantastic trip. Petr’s quick thinking and commitment to our experience was truly commendable. Finishing off the trip with homemade strudel, coffee/tea/water! An extremely memorable experience was had! Thank you 😊

Great experience. the place and itinerary was carefully thought. very helpful guide who even picked us right beneath the apartment. very reduced group which led to be more cozy and familiar. The guide explained well all the history and stops and made the trip fun. due to the weather, he equiped all of us with the necessary garment and should we have had any inconvenience he adapted to the situation. Very recommended if you want to have a nice time visiting not so ordinary emplacements. a different type of tourism.

Peter is wonderful! He started off the day as our tour guide, but finished as our friend. He was very generous with all of his experience and information and he was always concerned about our comfort. Since he is from the area, he has vast amounts of knowledge and was also easily able to adapt plans when necessary. Terezín was the first stop and it was fascinating and horrifying, all at once. It was a very moving place to tour and shouldn't be missed. The next stop was at an adorable little coffee shop for beverages and a sweet treat. Peter described some of the treats and their history and importance in the area. Then, on to the Narnia Labyrinth! We were fortunate enough to go on a day with softly falling snow and it made the entire experience magical. Peter showed us around and told us the names of the formations. It was unlike anything we had seen before. Gorgeous! And it was nice to get a little nature in after having been in Prague for awhile. Then, on to lunch in a delicious restaurant with authentic Czech food! It was some of the best food we had on our entire trip! The last planned stop was the Bastei Bridge, however, due to circumstances outside of his control (weather and such), and with his deep knowledge of the area, he was able to give the group an alternative option which was equally fabulous! He was a very conscientious and safe driver and his van was in good condition. Peter's English is also wonderful, so have no worries there either. My husband and myself thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend it!

Cannot recommend this enough. It was definitely an interesting mix of things, but the Terezin camp is such an important part of history, especially now. The title is a little deceiving as you don't go into Switzerland, but Peter will give you the whole story for that. The little hike we did was also so much fun and sooooo beautiful. I cannot recommend this enough! Peter, our guide, was fantastic and helpful and knowledgeable and I'd def have a cup of coffee with him if/when I make it back out that way.

First of all, the tour guide called me two days before the tour to offer me to cancel the reservation I had and pay him directly offering me a discount! The name of the tour is a rip-off, my travel partner thought we were going to Switzerland.... we were very far from Switzerland! We were already running late for the first visit. The tour of the Terezin concentration camp was awesome. The museum was useless, it was a waste of time considering we were short on time. We didn't brought water with us since it was supposed to be included, we did not get water and did not stop nowhere where we could buy water. Lunch wasn't in a castle as mentionned in a description, but good. We were told we were going to visit a medieval town, we only drove through the town, it would have been nice to have a few minutes to take pictures. Big disapointment! Tiske Steny was great and beautiful. We were running so late that by the time we got to bastel bridge, it was alreay dark and we coudln't see anything. The tour guide made us walk in the woods at dark and it was dangerous, it triped over a root and almost felt. This was supposed to be the highlight of the day, but we couldn't see anything, this was a huge disapointment! It was expensive for what it was!

My father and I went on this tour with our wonderful guide, Peter. There were four other people on our tour. We were picked up from our hotel promptly. Peter had refreshments on his minibus. Whilst en route to Terezín Peter gave us interesting facts about the buildings, landscape, and Czech history. He took us round Terezín and gave us information in a sensitive and respectful manner. We were then taken for delicious coffee and cake to help lighten the mood. This gave us a good opportunity to chat with the other people on the tour. Then we headed to the national park in Bohemia on the Czech side. Amazing rock formations and natural beauty. Then off for late lunch at a secluded hotel. Delicious food and beer. Final leg of the trip was over the border into Germany to explore more of the natural beauty at Bastei Bridge. Breathtaking scenery and rock formations. We were then all driven back to Prague by Peter who dutifully dropped us all off at our respective hotels. We had a great day and would wholeheartedly recommend.

I travel a lot and this is one of the best tours I have ever taken. We had a small group of 7 in Peter’s van, he had coffee and water available all day. We had a private guided tour atTerezin Concentration Camp that was very informative and nothing like we may have experienced alone. We then stopped for coffee and Czech pastries in Terezin that was included. We ventured on to Bohemian Switzerland N.P. and hiked through the Labyrinth where the Narnia movie was filmed. We were given enough time to enjoy the scenery. We then had a wonderful traditional Czech lunch that was also included. We ended our day in Saxony Germany at the Bastei Bridge. Peter’s knowledge and enthusiasm was contagious. He also talked about the culture both current and during Communism. We were out over 12 hours and Peter even took care of small details like change for the toilets. He runs this tours on his own and does not work for a big company. You will not be disappointed!
