Catarina was the best! I started my trip with flight delays. I was able to switch my pick up to the airport on short notice, and the company was great about it. Catarina met me at the airport and gave me a tour of the island. I felt like I was able to see so much during our tour (from scenic overlooks to cheese tasting to Algar do Carvão). Catarina was so nice, really loved the island, and was able to teach and show me so much. It was a great way to start the trip. I highly recommend!

We had a most enjoyable & relaxing Guided Tour with Ricardo. He met us at our Cruise ship and drove us throughout the area, stopping at many gorgeous sights, and sharing with us the History and Culture of this beautiful island, including some personal history. Our small 3 person group included a former Terceira Resident of 60+ years ago, and the conversations with Ricardo were the best - we all learned something! We went to a small café where we had delicious local pastries & coffees! This is a great Tour that should not be missed by anyone visiting Terceira, and request Roberto as your guide!

We were traveling as a group of 6 on the Carnival Pride transatlantic passage. We had booked our tour well in advance and looked forward to the tour. However, due to rough seas and high winds, our captain made the hard decision to not attempt entering the narrow inlet putting safety first. We texted the tour company to let them know of the decision and requested a refund. The company was very gracious and understood the situation and our funds were refunded quickly.

Great tour where we got to see special areas on the island we would have not otherwise seen. Really enjoyed seeing the beautiful nature.

This was an amazing day! Our tour guide Marina is very personable okand knowledgeable about the island. She was more than willing to stop on the side of the road to allow us to take pictures. If you don't do anything else in Terceira, make sure you take the volcano tour. I was able to walk over an active volcano, go through a lava tube, and see the beauty of a lake at the bottom of a volcano. I cannot stress how informative and stunning this tour was. Do yourself a favor and book it with Azores Travel!

Nuno è stata una piacevolissima guida per la nostra escursione all’isola di Terceira. Abbiamo visto bei panorami, ma quello che è stato mozzafiato sono state le “spiagge” formate dalla lava del vicino vulcano con un paesaggio lunare e tante piccole piscine naturali. Nuno è stato molto bravo, competente e ci ha accompagnato in questa escursione con tutta la sua simpatia

Foi uma viagem de descoberta constante, excelente guia, simpatia, conhecimento, cultura que nos deixou com pena de não ter sido o dia inteiro para poder aproveitar ainda mais o dia com o melhor guia da Ilha Terceira.

Super Guide! Man hat gespürt wie stolz er auf sein Land ist und er hat uns tolle Orte gezeigt. Sehr gutes Englisch und sehr sympathisch. Leider hatten wir zu Beginn etwas Pech mit dem Wetter, unser Guide hat die Tour aber dann umgeplant, sodass wir doch sehr viel sehen konnten.

Unser Guide war sehr darauf aus uns in den -nach unserer 12 stündigen Flugverspätung -verbleibenden 1,5 Tage möglichst viele und tolle Eindrücke zu ermöglichen. Zunächst liebt er seine Insel Terceira und dies hat er uns an allen Orten deutlich gemacht. Stets war er enthusiastisch, wenn er etwas erzählte. Unser Glück war, dass wir nur zu zweit auf der Tour waren und er diese unseren Ideen unterordnete. Orte die -wenn man bereits irgendwann in Furnas, São Miguel gewesen ist- eher unscheinbar sind, ließen wir aus und sahen uns statt dessen den wohl beeindruckensten -weil begehbaren-Vulkankrater Algar do Carvão an.
