Our tour guide and driver Jonathan is very pleasant and knowledgeable. His speaks English very well. Please give a nice tip for someone works so hard to make the experience a nice one for us all. Highly recommend.

Tour was great, our guide Jonathon explained everything and took care of the few English speaking guests on the tour. The only negative aspect was the lunch stop at SkyView Restaurant. The was food quality and overpriced. The town of Tequila was delightful and we would have had rather had lunch in town. Also, although it was nice to have the soda available on the bus, as it was very hot having having water available on the bus is essential in our opinion. Ted and Marnie Melnyk

The tour covered many different areas / sites with multiple tastings. Tour guide was fine although he mostly focused on getting us to tastings and didn't offer much in terms of explaining local history, customs or other interesting details. Online, the description said tastings were included in the price. However, it turns out we were required to pay for the shot glasses for each of the tastings!? It was a small fee and, thankfully we had pesos on us but we felt the extra cost was a little odd...

Jonathan was a great tour guide who kept us entertained and engaged with learning about tequila and the proper way to taste it!

What a great choice. So much less expensive than many of the other tours and so much more in the itinerary. Our driver and guide, Jonathan was excellent. I love the fact that it was a small group and literally there was as much tequila as you wanted.

They came to pick me up at 10am and we headed to the first Tequila distillery. We had a nice Tequila tasting there and then we went to the second one. After the tasting, we went for lunch in a restaurant with view the Tequila city. Last stop was Tequila itself, which we stayed there less than an hour. It would be like to stay more there, but the time that we came back in Guadalahara was already 7-8pm. It was a fun excursion with a nice group. I only wish that they would be better in the communication, before the excursion! They sent nothing until the day of the activity. Actually, I had to woke up at 6am to see if they sent me anything, because they would suppose to pick me up at 7 am. I called them at 7 am and they told me that they will come at 10 am.

Although I could hardly drink any tequila, it was my best trip in Jalisco, thanks to our guide Jonathan, who was very entertaining and attentive. I quickly made friends with my fellow travelers, it was simply an unforgettable day!

Well organized and wonderful tour. Small and selected group in a small van. Good lunch with a wonderful view of the village of Tequila, although a bit expensive lunch. You tour agave fields, tequila distilleries, places where you can take cantaritos and dance to mariachi music. Enough time in the Tequila village to sight see. When you get to Tequila village you can also visit the Jose Cuervo distillery in 10-15 minutes of your free time. A fun and friendly guide called El Greñas, who made us laugh to the last second of the tour. Highly recommended!

GDL tours made our visit to Tequila a very personal experience. We travelled with a group of 6 others and visited boutique distilleries and had lunch at restaurant overlooking the town. The big tours can’t give you this kind experience. Our guide spoke English well and was raised in Tequila. Finished our tour off with some cantaritos that wasn’t available to the big buses. Just a special day.

Fun action packed day tour with lots and lots of tequila! I was the only non-Mexican on my tour which made it even more fun. Locals are the best!

Best trip ever! The tour guide Johnathan was amazing. He made the trip so fun because he was so funny. The stops were all seamless and we were given ample time at each spot to explore. The trip is about Tequila history, culture, and of course how you make the drink. I would recommend this trip, it was definitely a highlight to my friend and me. My favorite spot was being able to take the Gaviota pictures at the agave fields!

Our tour guide Jonathan also served as our driver. We we picked up promptly at our hotel and Jonathan narrated the beautiful blue agave landscape on our ride from Guadalajara to Tequila. We stopped at two distilleries and learned the process of making this spirit. Jonathan's driving was expert especially challenging on some rough road surfaces. We sampled Tequila at both stops. I learned two important lessons regarding myself and Tequila: I have been drinking the "wrong" all my life and I can't afford the Tequila I now prefer. Although I had a great time, I don't think the production of Tequila is particularly interesting and I didn't find the city of Tequila very interesting, either. Would I take this tour again? No. I would only recommend it for someone who is fascinated by Tequila (and likes to drink Tequila before lunch). However, our guide/driver Jonathan was first rate.

This was great fun. The mini bus arrived on time and we had tequila on the way. The drive is quite interesting looking over all of the agave fields and the tour guide is very helpful. We had 2 tours of tequila distilleries and got to try a lot. Then went for some food at a restaurant with panoramic views of tequila, followed by a mooch round the village of tequila. Very interesting and fun day!

Trip was fun. We got to see a lot of nice areas and meet some nice people. The tequila was good as well! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and helpful especially those of us on the tour that did not speak much Spanish. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Axel was a great tour guide! Not only was he our tour guide, but driver, waiter, and translator! It was a great experience and a great time overall. We went to two distilleries on the way out to Tequila, followed by stopping at a overlook restaurant of Tequila, visiting the downtown area of Tequila for around an hour and a half. We got back on the road and then stopped at a Canterita on the way back to Guadalajara. Definitely recommend this trip for the price point as well as a good tour.

Our guide was awesome! He was funny and very knowledgeable. He definitely kept everybody entertained with the different types of music. Will definitely go again!
