Such an informative tequila tasting! We tried crickets for the first time too and the team was so welcoming!

Luis was great! We walked in without an appointment and they were able to accommodate all four of us! He was fun, personable and above all - knowledgeable!!! We had a great time and needed up walking out with a lot of tequila! We’d definitely come back!

Juan Andreas was an excellent host and educator. He taught the group so much valuable information about tequila and mezcal including nuances that I think would be hard to find online. Really great guy and great experience! The only negative thing I have to say is for the woman (owner?) who opened a window while we were in session and yelled at him to hurry up and end the session. She could have been more professional and polite by just coming in and asking to speak outside of the door. Incredibly rude to treat your staff that way.

4/2024 This was a tequila tasting and Mezcal tasting. They gave us a brief education on start to finish of tequila making. There were four tequila samples that you had with a tiny appetizer, which surprisingly and pleasantly changes the flavor after you drink the tequila. They have 3 samples of Mezcal. The four of us really enjoyed ourselves. One of our group members tried the chocolate covered chapulin. We covered a lot in 1.5 hours. Definitely entertaining.

This is an exceptional history and time line presentation of tequila in Mexico. This is NOT a place to come and get drunk from doing multiple shots, it’s an immersive and detailed history of the process and cultivation of tequila throughout time. We tasted only high quality tequila, pairing it with various flavors and foods, and we learned how to enjoy tasting tequila, not throwing it back in a shot form. Highly recommended for the historical aspects of enjoying tequila.

Louis was great! Learned how Tequila/Mezcal is distilled. We sampled several Tequila and Mezcals which were all smooth tasting. We also learned proper way of tasting Tequila. Prices were fair and quality was amazing.

We had a wonderful time with “Johnny Cash” for our tequilla and mezcal tasting. We got to learn about how it’s made and learn how to drink it correctly so you can get the flavors of tequilla. We will definitely recommend to all of our friends and family.

Exceptional tour of Tequilas and Mezcales of Mexico. Luis gave us a comprehensive informational class on the history of tequila that covered all the types and flavors you could imagine. Each was paired with a small food pairing which elevated the experience. Topped it off with a passionate tour of special Mezcales which demonstrated his deep knowledge and his excitement to share with us the complexity and diversity of this amazing spirit. They have good quality tequila here and some special artisanal mezcal for sale.
