We had an incredible guide, Gerardo, and wonderful driver! It was a highlight of our trip to Mexico City. Gerardo was very knowledgeable and offered us so much information about the history of the site. I highly recommend this tour.

We did a private tour with Pepe and it was amazing. Pepe holds numerous university degrees in Meso American history and art history. It was invaluable to have him take us around and describe what we were seeing. He suggested a nice place for lunch for us three, and he picked us up and dropped us off. We knew the tour would be good based on other reviews, but I didn’t expect it to be this good. 100% recommend 10/10 times. Pepe is the man. Book it now. Teotihuacan is such a majestic place, you need to have a knowledgeable guide to get the full effect.

Sadly we were very disappointed! Our guide was difficult to understand and did not have a good grasp of the questions we were asking or have facts to answer them in a way that we felt confident. This was a very expensive tour for us $600 usd with tip for 4 people not including the lunch stop which was way over priced no doubt due to the commission I’m sure the restaurant pays. Luckily we skipped the booze tour! In hindsight it would have been better to pay an Uber/driver $200usd round trip and take a guide book all for a fraction of the cost.

We had an incredible tour with Eric. He was knowledgeable, very personable and insightful about Teotihuacán, and its historical significance. He knows his history. And he’s a deep and sensitive thinker. After the tour, we asked if he had any recommendations for lunch. He was super accommodating and fun, and we ended up hanging out with him at a cochinita stand, talking about food, family, life and travel. Total serendipity. We were lucky to have him as our guide.

We had an incredible experience touring Teotihuacan with Ernesto. We were picked up from the hotel promptly at 7am and beat the crowd there. Ernesto was excellent. His deep knowledge and passion in the history is evident (with his background in Archaeology). Additionally, he gave us solid restaurant recommendations in Mexico City, and even took us to a carnitas place for lunch at the end of the tour. Unforgettable experience!

We were very happy to make a quick trip out from Mexico City to Teotihuacan pyramids on our last day in Mexico. We were able to get to the pyramids and back leaving our hotel in Roma Norte by 7am and returning by 1pm so that we had the afternoon to see more of the city. Our guide, Pepe, was friendly and informative and flexible with our need to shorten his typical tour itinerary. The pyramids are stunning!

This tour was fantastic. Ernesto has expert-level knowledge of the archaeology and history of Teotihuacan and surrounding areas, and wove it into a captivating narrative throughout the tour. He brought us to different artisans for quick demonstrations of how they derived paint colors from plants, or the many uses of an agave. He continuously tailored the tour to our preference, including offering a coffee stop, doing a rapid narrated walk through the museum on-sight, and discussing current-day Mexico city environs on the drive. We learned so much, and enjoyed every step of it.

Very knowledgeable tour guide and would highly recommend Ernesto! He gave us a great overview of the history of the site and had a depth of knowledge in archaeology.

What an amazing day! I would recommend the private tour to anyone debating it. Your guide picks you up and drops you off where you are staying - super convenient. Our guide, Pepe, taught us so much and made the tour 10 times better than if we’d done it on our own. He was SO knowledgeable and spoke great English. We also were able to schedule lunch at La Greta nearby after we completed the tour of the pyramids and Pepe took us there. Flexible and accommadating!

Strongly recommend this tour. Visiting Teotihuacan is a must when you are in CDMX and this is a very well organised private tour. Our guide, Pepe was very friendly and knowledgeable and was happy to add on an extra stop at the end. Good idea to arrive early when it's quiet.

Our guide June was very knowledgeable and his English was perfect. We learnt a lot of things about Teotihuacán, but also Mexican culture, way of life, etc. We would not have gasped half of what Teotihuacán is without him. We also did a tour to the Reserva Mariposa El Rosario with Roberto and Mariana. It was an amazing experience to see thousands of butterflies flying around us, a must do if you are in Mexico City at the right period of the year - in winter until March.

Private driver and guide made the day effortless. We were able to ask all the questions we wanted and spend time on areas we were interested in. Our guide Ernesto was very knowledgeable and alot of fun. We had a great tour, lunch, the trip out and back was easy, and he also provided insights into other activities to do in Mexico City. We had a great time on this tour of Teotihuacan! Our tour guide Eric was very knowledgeable, and gave us lots of information about the pyramids and the civilizations which inhabited Teotihuacan over time. He was very timely and communicative on pick up, and it was great to be picked up at our home. We were so glad to have done a private tour and leaving early in the morning means we had the whole place to ourselves which was so cool!!! We also really enjoyed the pulque tasting and artisanía which he took us to at the end of the tour. Lastly, he gave us some recommendations for food when we got back to the city which were delicious.

Our guide, Francisco, was both knowledgeable and very nice. We booked a private tour knowing that I would have tons of questions about Teotihuacan, and I was not disappointed. Francisco answered every one of my questions patiently.
